The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Are You a Little Child?
Scripture: Matthew 18:1-4; Romans 12:2
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Here the disciples ask Jesus, who is the greatest in the Kingdom of God? And Jesus pulls to Him a little child and states (paraphrasing), except you be converted and become like this little child, then you will not enter the Kingdom. This is a very loaded statement and it has 2 parts: Conversion and Entering so let’s deal with both to get an understanding of how and why little children will enter into the Kingdom. First, the conversion.
Conversion happens in the mind. Read Romans 12:2! When you accepted Christ, for many of us not much changed about our actions and our standard of living. We seem to backslide and still do the same things we used to do and the problem is that even though you are saved, your mind has not been converted. This is why Jesus came and His first words to the multitude was REPENT, or change our mind! To enter into this Kingdom, the mind that you currently have will not work, only the mind of Christ will allow you to function in the Kingdom. So, just as you are saved spiritually, you have to be converted in the mind also and that is a choice you have to make. Now let’s look at entering.
When Jesus said you will not enter into the Kingdom, He was talking about exploring. So unless you be converted and become like little children then you will not be able to explore the Kingdom of God. Now how do you become this child so you can explore the Kingdom. Well you have think like a child, for example:
1. A child is solely dependent on their parents for survival
2. A child never worries about needs being met because they know the parents will take care of them
3. A child’s mind is like a sponge and willing to learn any and everything you expose them to.
4. A child’s attitude is to love and do what it takes to please their parents
You have to become like this child to God and when you do, He will show you and explain to you how to explore and experience Kingdom lifestyle! You cannot use the same mind you had before you were saved, only the mind of Christ can reveal to you the secrets of the Kingdom. Have you become that little child yet? If not Abba is waiting……..

Power of Kingdom Provision
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Power of Kingdom Provision
Scripture: Matthew 17:24-27
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In this story here we have Jesus and the disciples coming into Capernaum and being questioned whether their master (Jesus) pays tribute. Tribute is taxes. Peter then answers yes and then runs to Jesus. Before Peter could get a word out Jesus asks him what are you thinking about and who do the kings of the Earth take tribute from and Peter says strangers. Now, Jesus like always makes a way out of no way. Now, based off of the story Jesus did not (naturally) have the money to pay the taxes but He switched Kingdoms to the Kingdom of God and in that Kingdom, He had more than enough and because of Jesus faith, a way was made. Now here is where it is funny.
He basically tells Peter to go fishing and the first fish you catch go and take the money out of that fish’s mouth and there will be enough for you (Peter) and me (Jesus). Now here is a question:
Do you believe that a fish can bring you your rent payment?
Ok, if you do not, then you can stop reading here! But if you do, then keep the faith and watch God perform a miracle for you. See what we forget is that God owns everything and He knows His creation and controls them. Much like the birds bringing Elijah food, I know God can bring me a check by donkey to pay my mortgage off. See the King, for His name’s sake (reputation), has to take care of His citizens, because His true citizens are a reflection of Him. Are you a true citizen of the Kingdom? Are your provisions being met by God?

The Power of Faith
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Power of Faith
Scripture: Matthew 17:14-21; Hebrew 11:1,6
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In this story we see a man possessed of a devil and the disciples could not cure him and Jesus gets a little upset because after all he has shown to them they still do not know how to use the power. Now look what Jesus called them in verse 17, O FAITHLESS and perverse generation! So it is through the power of faith can this power be made manifest. As you further read the disciples asked Jesus why would the devil not come out when they tried and Jesus gave them a great answer and it is found in verse 20, Jesus says “Because of your unbelief”. Now Jesus makes a reassurance and a powerful statement in the latter part of verse 20. He says “nothing shall be impossible unto you”. Look at that again! Jesus said nothing shall be impossible. So, through your faith in Christ all things are possible. Many Christians really do not believe in people being possessed of a devil or evil spirit. Satan uses this unbelief to continue to degrade the children of God by using their bodies through their minds to do ungodly things. For many of us the only thing we have heard about devils is through the process of a exorcism, or the Catholic church, and/or only a priest can do this. This is the perverted thought process of casting out devils. Think about this, if the only person on earth that can cast out a devil is a catholic priest we are in so much trouble. And they question themselves when to do it? But look at who Jesus gave the power to do such an act. He gave it to His disciples! Are we not disciples of Christ? Now understand not all of us have that gift, that is power that is given from God but the key is that we have to be in a position to use it when God calls upon us. See this comes down to reading the Bible for yourself. Through Moses faith, God parted the Sea. Through David’s faith, Goliath was defeated. Through the centurion’s faith, his servant was healed by Jesus. Through Jesus faith, five thousand was fed with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread. So, faith is a key that unlocks Heaven’s doors to allow Heaven to interfere on Earth through the children of God.

Is It Worth It?
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Is it Worth It?
Scripture: Matthew 16:24-28
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
How many of you would love to be a millionaire, have 2 to 3 houses, a private jet, and a million dollar salary and that’s it. Well I know that seems wonderful but is it worth eternal damnation. Ok! Now, we can look at all of these celebrities, athletes and even many of these televangelists on t.v. and say I wish I had everything they had. You even ask the question: Why do some of the vilest people get all the riches? Well the answer is because they are supposed to because that is what they are chasing, prosperity. Now here you are a citizen of the Kingdom of God, a King, Priest, Ambassador and son of God with the Army of Heaven at your call and protection and eternal life. Now I do not know about you, but that second list is a lot better than the first. Why? Let’s look at the scriptures to see why.
First, if you are going to follow Christ and come under His Lordship, you have to deny yourself. Now this includes your worldly possessions! Ok, God owns everything but He does not want you to put your possessions before him and His assignment for you. See when you do not stake ownership in the things of the world then God can shift things in and out of your hands freely and continuously bless you. But when you hoard and stake ownership then God can not open the doors of Heaven because your greed has closed the door. Now, look at what Jesus says about the person who gains the whole world, he shall lose his soul. Now what is more important, money, house, car or soul? See your soul can either live forever or be cast into eternal hell. We all have to make a choice, God or the World? Which one is yours?

Foundation of the Kingdom of Heaven
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Foundation of the Kingdom of Heaven
Scripture: Matthew 16:16-18; Romans 10:9
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now, in this scripture we will look at verse 18 as our topic of discussion but need to refer back to the other verses for context. Jesus asked the disciples “Who do you say I am?” and Peter answered “You Are the Christ, the Son of the Living God”. Now in verse 18 Jesus goes on to say “Upon this rock I will build my church”. Now we have to break this statement up to get a broad view of what Jesus meant. First, let’s deal with the rock.
The rock Jesus is talking about is Peter’s statement or confession that He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Look at Romans 10:9! You have to confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, then thou shalt be saved. So when you make this confession you become a citizen of the Kingdom and become a part of the Assembly of God and that leads me to the word Church!
The word church means assembly. It is not a religious word. It is a political word. So now when you read this scripture you can substitute the word church for assembly. So upon this rock I will build my assembly! An assembly as many of us know from the political world is a group of people who were elected or selected to carry out governmental duties. So in our country, the Kingdom of God we were selected into the secret cabinet to learn and execute the mind of our King to the Earth and continue to colonize the Earth with Kingdom citizenship. So, Jesus was not talking about a physical building when He made that statement, He was talking about His political group that will represent Him in the Earth. I know we have religious denominations that say “we are the true church”. As a wake up call the church is all those who have accepted Christ as Lord and have citizenship in the Kingdom of God. In addition, they do the Will of the Father in Heaven and impact Earth with God’s Will. So regardless if you are baptist, pentacostal, church of God of prophecy, whatever. If your physical church, is a Bible believing, Christ-raised from the dead believing, Jesus is Lord and the Son of the Living God believing, Holy Ghost believing and filled, Kingdom of God preaching church then you are fine. Let not our denominations divide us because in 1 Corinthians 1:10, Paul tells the church at Corinth to be of one mind and of course that is in Christ Jesus!
I pray this has helped someone to understand what the rock and the church is. In order to understand Jesus you must have the mind and the heart of Jesus and that is found in the Holy Spirit and it is only through the Holy Spirit that the truth of what has been said will be revealed. May God Continue to Bless You!

Who Do You Say Jesus Is?
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Who Do You Say Jesus Is?
Scripture: Matthew 16:13-17
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
The next two to three messages are going to be very important to read so don’t miss them. Jesus first ask, who do men say that I am? And as you read the scripture men say that Jesus was one of the prophets. Now, Jesus is trying to make a very fundamental point. After performing all these miracles, some still do not believe that He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. So if men are saying this about me (Jesus), I wonder what my disciples say about me? See, all the people who are your friends and say they are with you, may not be with you for all the right reasons. So, Christ ask the disciples who do you say I am? All of us have to speak for ourselves to this question. You have to know Jesus for yourself. This is why we are going through the 4 Gospels so when people ask you who is Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit can use you and speak words like no other to describe the Son of the Living God!! I actually got ahead of myself so let me back up. In verse 17, look who revealed Peter’s answer from verse 16. Not flesh and blood, so Peter did not know that from himself! He received this revelation from God the Father. So only the Spirit can reveal things of the Spirit. Flesh and blood do not know spiritual things. This is why when people ask you who is Jesus, you do not have to speak, let the Holy Spirit speak through you. Because, no better person than the Holy Spirit can describe the Son of God. So if Jesus asked you, “Who do you say that I am?” What would you say?

The Bread of Life Versus the Religious Leaders
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Bread of Life versus the Religious Leaders
Scripture: Matthew 16:6-12; Romans 10:9; 2 Timothy 4:1-5
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In these scriptures Jesus is telling the disciples to beware of the “leaven” of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Now in a previous message we saw the leaven being described as yeast in meal that eventually spreads and takes over. Now Jesus was not talking about bread but the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Well you ask, why would you be careful of the religious leaders who know the scriptures? Because they used the scriptures to control people. Ok? Religion controls you, the Kingdom gives you self-government (Galatians 5:22-23). We will talk about 2 of the doctrines that are being spread every Sunday on t.v. channels such as TBN, The Word Network, Daystar and BET by prominent mega-churches and their bishops, pastors and preachers. I know this might cost me members but truth is truth and the charge that I have been given is not to just preach the word in season and out of season but also to rebuke. If you did not know about these people, I suggest you do your research and know for yourself.
Doctrine of Prosperity, Season and Breakthrough
The gospel of prosperity is taking over more and more because of the outsourcing of our emotional needs to feel good about ourselves and the reality is, if you just deal with your spiritual nature then your emotional nature will come under control. A pastor in Texas who has the largest church membership in the United States stated on a Fox News interview that he loves encouraging people and he preaches a positive message every Sunday. He also states he does not like to use the word sin because of its negative connotation and we need to encourage one another in these times. Ok! Can we agree that God will not bless a sinful lifestyle? Can we also agree that God blesses the righteous? So in order to get someone to be blessed, you have to deal with the sin they were in. Jesus said He called “sinners to repentance”. So if Jesus calls us a sinner then it is obvious we have to deal with sin first and become righteous in order for God to open the windows of Heaven for us. Citizens, prosperity comes naturally as a citizen of the Kingdom! Prosperity is not monetary only! These prominent bishops and preachers are millionaires and there congregations are maybe majority 50,000 dollar households. These people are searching for the truth and trying to find a way in the midst of turmoil to control their circumstances and they are not being taught what God told Him to preach. You ask how do I know what God told him to preach? Because what Jesus message was, is also our message. They are living off of the backs of the congregations they serve and do not preach the Kingdom and do not teach how to live in the Kingdom or its principles. But they preach this prosperity message that encourages you but when you get out into the world the message does not work! Why is there such a disconnect between the pastor and the congregation. I am sorry but if you get mad at this is probably because it is the truth and you put your faith in the man and not in THE MAN, JESUS! Jesus rebuked the religious leaders and told the disciples to beware of their doctrine. I urge every person to read 2 Timothy 4:1-5, this is the responsibility of the pastor and/or bishop of your church. Do you have itching ears and are they preaching sound doctrine?
Doctrine of Inclusion
This doctrine is being spread at a very rapid rate in the United States and I am telling you, if you are a follower of this pastor then you stand the chance of not entering into the Kingdom of God! Carlton Pearson is the founder of the “gospel of inclusion” and basically in a small sentence, it states that you do not have to confess Jesus as Lord and that God raised Him from the dead (conflicts with Romans 10:9) because all will be saved anyway. This bishop is going around preaching this message and forwarding the homosexual agenda in churches in America. I know we have a lot of pastors on this ministry, do not allow this guy or anyone who believes in Him to grace your pulpit and address your congregation. I have heard of pastors who have done so and because Carlton Pearson said it, it goes! In less than 1 hour, he has converted whole churches to his doctrine. Go look Him up citizens! Jesus is warning us to beware of the doctrines. If the message they preach are not scripturally based, then what are they talking about? A show on t.v. that is slowing pushing His agenda and his return to power is BET’s “Exalted”. Read about his bio on the BET website and what he believes. Nothing about the Kingdom of God! If the Kingdom of God is not first then what matters?
Now, I know many others who are on t.v. preaching their doctrine and what they believe and not what Jesus has told them to preach, the Kingdom of God! Not everyone followed Jesus after He called the Pharisees and Sadducees to the carpet about what they are teaching the people. Here is something to think about!
Did Jesus out live the people who He was serving and ministering to? In other words, did Jesus material and natural lifestyle exalt Him higher than the people so that they feel that they could not touch him or speak to him? Of course not! Whoever wanted to speak to Jesus all they had to do was come to Him, they did not have to go through 5 assistant ministers, 25 deacons and 4 secretaries just to speak to their shepherd. Do you have access to your pastor? Is your pastor unreachable because He is so famous in the world? Is your pastor too busy to talk to you? Jesus never was, so should we?

Do you have access to your pastor? Is your pastor unreachable because He is so famous in the world? Is your pastor too busy to talk to you? Jesus never was, so should we?

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
If you read the scriptures above, now you have the answers to yesterday’s questions. Regardless of what mess we are in or what situations we surround ourselves in, isn’t it wonderful to have a God that gives us an answer and a way out. Many times the way out is not the way we think we should go because it is not the “norm”. But, when has God ever acted or conformed to the “norm” of this world. So, His answers are to benefit not just our physical but most of all or spiritual. Sometimes the answer is just moving away from the situation and all the time it is consulting God for the answer and when He does, we need to respond and conform. Yes, this is perilous times but if you are alive and breathing right now and are able to read this, it is not late to change your life and get on the narrow path with the few that are on it.
To My Teenage Mothers:
Regardless of what people have told you that your baby is a result of your sin and your baby is a mistake, here is the truth and give it to every person that has told you that. “The devil cannot give life, so the devil did not make you pregnant. Every child is a blessing from the Lord and if God did not see you fit to handle and rear this child up in the fear and admonition of the Lord, then He would not have given you the new baby you have or the baby you are carrying” The child belongs to God and is from God. You just keep praying and rearing your child up by the Bible to love the Lord.” Your happiness is no longer primary in your life but the life God has given you to rear is the most important person and responsibility you have. This is the truth not just from this ministry but from God Himself!
To My Single Parent Households
I know it is a constant struggle to me mom or dad, but God never wanted you to be both. He knew the decisions you would make and God has made a provision to ensure that your child will be successful not only in man’s world but in the building of God’s Kingdom. If you are a mom, let God be the Father and let Him surround you with Godly men as an example to your child of how to be a man. If you are a Father, allow God to send you Godly women to help rear and nurture your child. When you allow God to be God, and you follow His lead, you will always have success in whatever you do and that includes rearing children. No one ever said it would not come with hard times, but God has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you. So, keep your head up and keep your faith in the Almighty God who is the only one that can guarantee your deliverance from every situation.
To My Fellow Ministers, Preachers, Pastors and Bishops
I know I am new to all of this, but God is slowly showing me how different we have to be in order to be effective in being the God-appointed leaders of His people. We have to be 100% committed to this Gospel of the Kingdom and we cannot compromise in order to try to win souls for the kingdom. Jesus said “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me”. Let Jesus do the drawing, it is nothing that we have done or can do without Christ. Stay submissive to Christ and allow Him to lead you. I have learned that the Gospel of the Kingdom will not always make people happy, but it will save their lives and we have been called to preach the entire gospel in truth, rightly dividing the Word of God. In James 3, it is said that we are held to a higher standard and will be judged by a higher standard because we have been entrusted to preach the Word of God to those who may not know it. If we mislead or fail to properly spread the Gospel of the Kingdom then we will be held accountable for those misled souls. We know there are many controversial issues plaguing the body of Christ and these are sensitive subjects, but we have been instructed to ensure we are in God’s order and are following His lead. I have learned that it feels so good to be used by God to reach His people. Stay in the position to be used at all times and allow God to use your body and use your tongue to speak life unto is people who are suffering under sin.

Scripture: Matthew 16:1-12; Isaiah 3:1-14; 1 Corinthians 11:3
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In these scriptures, we see that the Pharisees and Sadducees are asking Jesus to show them some signs from Heaven. But Jesus tells them how they are hypocrites because they can discern the sky but cannot discern the times. What is about to be said is reality. These are the times we are living in and if you have read the scriptures, the prophets prophesied these things to come in these days. These prophesies from Isaiah which happened over 2000 years ago and today it is truly manifesting itself. Once you have read these scriptures try to answer these questions.
1. Where are the Heads-of-Households?
2. Where are the God-appointed Leaders of the Churches?
3. Why does it seem that man is no longer the head of woman?
4. Why are the children running the house and not the parents?
I have asked some people these questions and the answer I seem to get is “The men have just gone astray so the women have to be mother and father and lead in the churches.” If you look at Isaiah 3:12 and just take that verse only you will understand why things are the way they are. We are out of order and have strayed from the path of the Lord. First, God has His order and we have to deal with that order and stick to it. He maintained His order throughout the Bible. God is the Head of Christ, Christ is the Head of Man, Man is the Head of Woman (1 Corinthians 11:3 paraphrased). Even from the garden, that order never changed. What changed was us! Adam erred because he followed Eve. God always makes provisions when people have gone astray, but, He still maintains His order. The church which should be the light and the beacon on the hill and set the example for what Christ wants from His people is out-of-order. It is time for us to get back in His order because the Lord is coming back and the first place He is going to clean out is His church. Isaiah 3:12 says it all, when you are being lead by the wrong people you will err. Pray that God sends you and surrounds you with Godly Leadership, leadership that is appointed by God and not by man. Stay in your lane!

Matter of the Heart: Part 2
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Kingdom: Matter of the Heart pt 2
Scripture: Matthew 15:10-20
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Jesus is explaining how, what goes in a man does not defile him, but what comes out of his mouth does. Ok! This makes sense then. Since the Kingdom of God on Earth is a matter of the heart, the words that come out of your mouth tells us the kingdom that is most in your heart. On Earth there are 2 spiritual kingdoms. There is the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness (satan). Now if you truly love God and you know He abides in you, then the words that come out of your mouth should be those of a citizen of the Kingdom of God. All you have to do is look at verse 18-19 and you can see the things that can come out of our mouths.
We have to be cautious because the things that can come out of our mouth can cause us to sin against God. By our mere thoughts we sin. If you curse and are a liar then you do not represent the Kingdom of God , even if you have the Holy Ghost! If you hang around people who do speak the language of the Kingdom of God then you take on the environment you are in. In other words, you hang around people who curse, then you began to curse. If you hang around people who gossip, then you become a gossiper. If you hang around a liar, then you become a liar. So it is important to learn the language of the Kingdom of God!

A Matter of the Heart: Part 1
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Kingdom: A Matter of the Heart pt 1
Scripture: Matthew 15:7-9
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
God has consistently showed me and told me that His Kingdom is about a matter of man’s heart. What is in your heart is what counts because what is there will manifest itself in your actions. Let’s look at this scripture because I have to say that these scriptures tell us how most of the religious Christians act.
First, Jesus calls the Pharisees (religious leaders) hypocrites and then He tells them how they are hypocrites. Please pay attention! He said these words “The people draw nigh unto me (Jesus) with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips, BUT their heart is far from me”. These people were giving God a lot of lip service and no real service at all. How many church folk do we know who shout Hallelujah, say Amen, say “I love you Lord” but on Monday through Friday, they curse, spread gossip about their fellow brothers and sisters, raise hell on the job…and the list goes on. But during worship service they are like saints. Jesus calls those who do that HYPOCRITES! Are you one of those who do that? Does your actions reflect that of Father God? Are the words that come out of your mouth, those of life and not death?
Finally, Jesus says their worship is in vain! How would you have wasted your life thinking you gave worship to God and being told it is all in vain because your heart did not mean it because your life never changed to mimic the words of God! Now look at what Jesus says they are teaching, for doctrines the commandments of men. See everyone wants to give their interpretation of the scriptures and their opinions. But when you inject your opinion, you change the Word of God to your word. And we know that is an offense to God. Do not get your picture of God’s Word from man, get it from God himself. If someone is teaching the Word of God, you should be able to follow along in the Bible and allow the Holy Spirit to discern truth from a lie. But so many have made church an emotional experience so we go where the pastor is very charismatic and theatrical and encouraging but never preaching the true Word of God! So you fall in love with the doctrine of that person because you never heard the true doctrine of the Kingdom. So the question is where is your heart? Is it on the Kingdom of God? Or is it on a religion and trying to just get by?

Threat of Religous Tradition
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Threat of Religious Traditions
Scripture: Matthew 15:1-6
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
As you read the scriptures, you see the Pharisees came to Jesus and questioned him about transgressing the tradition of the elders because the disciples did not wash their hands when they ate bread. Now you have to understand, Jesus dealt with the Pharisees and Sadducees very directly, but even to them, He spoke in parables. But Jesus answered a question with a question. Look what He asked them:
Why Do You Also Transgress the Commandment of God by your Tradition?
So, Jesus gives them the tradition they have that transgresses against the Law of God. Sad to say it was the Commandment of Honour thy Father and thy Mother! Now, you are wondering what traditions might we be doing that transgresses God’s Law! Please pray and let the Holy Spirit lead you in what I am about to tell you.
One of the most important holidays we celebrate is the Resurrection of Christ, better known as Easter. Now, Resurrection Day has been reduced to a paganistic tradition of Easter bunnies and Easter Eggs. Now nowhere in scripture do we see the Easter bunny or Easter egg. So where did this tradition come from and what does it mean? Can we all agree that the Law of God states “Thou shalt not have any other god before thee”. So when we introduce our children to “Easter” what is the first thing we do:
1. Easter basket
2. Easter egg hunt
3. Easter Bunny
4. Easter Clothes
5. Easter Speech
6. Explain what the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Christ mean.
Now based off what I know, the majority is the first five. Now you know more people show up to Easter service than any service throughout the year. Now they all come in their easter suits and want to participate in the easter play, that they did not even go to rehearsal for, then they sit on the back row so they can be the first ones out for the easter egg hunt. Now with all of this, explain to me how any child will remotely think about Easter being Resurrection Day! Our traditions have transgressed against God because we have put all the things of Easter before God and the reason for the holiday! So when you ask your kids about Easter what do they tell you? Because what they tell you is what you taught them or what you allowed someone else to teach them!
Now this one is simple, Halloween! 1 Thessalonians 5:22 sums it up, Abstain from all appearance of evil! What is sad is that we allow our children to participate and dress-up in these demonic costumes and let them pretend to be someone that they are not. It is already sad that they have an identity crisis with God already and now we let them pretend to be a zombie or some mystical creature? What about them being Kings, Priests, Ambassadors and Sons of God? We are to be sanctified or set apart. We should not be participating in everything the world does. The world needs to be participating in everything we do as citizens of the Kingdom.
We as the church and the body of Christ need to examine these traditions we have in the body. If it does not line up with the Word of God, then we should not be participating in these festivities.

Kingdom Dominion and Authority
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Kingdom Dominion and Authority
Scripture: Matthew 14:22-33; Genesis 1:26
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
When I did my first sermon it was called “Answering the Call” and it was based off of these scriptures. But, as I was seeking the Kingdom and asking God to reveal to me everything about the Kingdom, He showed me in this scripture the authority and dominion that was given to Adam in the Garden. Let me show you!
In verse 24 where it is stated that the winds were contrary and the ship was in the midst of the sea being tossed represents us and our lives when trouble arises and we get pushed and tossed around a little. The question is what do you do? Now before we answer or see what our options are let’s look at verse 25. We see Jesus walking on the sea toward the ship and the disciples saw him walking on the sea and they were troubled and cried out for fear. Now Jesus seeing they are scared calls out to them and tell them “Be of good cheer it is I; be not afraid” (vs 27). So now Jesus is trying to re-assure them that they are ok because He is there in the midst of a contrary wind and sea. Now you have two options in this situation:
1. Stay in the boat and continue to be afraid and fearful and let the contrary winds continue to blow and toss you all around?
2. You can get out of the boat and walk on top of the contrary sea and exercise the dominion over the situation.
Now which one are you?
Thank God for Peter! He always just jumped out there and said what He was thinking and was bold about it. So when we continue reading, Peter ask Jesus bid him to come out on the water with Him and all Jesus said was “Come”. Now, I could only imagine all the other disciples looking at Peter and saying “What are You Doing?” But, Peter believed He could do what Jesus was doing! Peter had faith that he could walk on the water. Now as we continue to read we see that when Peter took his eyes off of Jesus, He began to sink! Why? Because authority and dominion was only in Jesus Christ because He at the time was the only one who had the Holy Ghost in Him and living in Him. Peter’s faith allowed Him to walk on the water, Peter’s doubt caused him to sink! So your faith in the midst of trials and tribulations will keep you on top of a situation through the power of God. Your doubt will cause you to sink in your troubles. Now, Jesus knows we worry and we lose focus just like Peter, but I like what Peter said, simply “Lord, save me”. He did not go into some 20 minute religious prayer. He simply said Lord save me. And look what the Bible said Jesus did in verse 31. IMMEDIATELY Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him. Now, Jesus warns you about what causes you to sink in this verse. Doubt! Now when Jesus got in the boat the winds ceased because He brought them out of their situation. Jesus exercised Kingdom dominion over the situation (boisterous wind and sea) and showed the disciples that through faith you can overcome the world’s situations. Now I am going to show you the opposing forces in this story and the Lord just showed this to me!!
Perfect Love CASTS OUT fear this is just like Jesus casts out satan.
Faith overcomes situations and circumstances and frees you, Doubt suppresses you and keeps you prisoner to the situation
I pray that you realize the person God sees in you, overcomes the world’s situation and exercises dominion over circumstances.

A Kingdom Feast
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: A Kingdom Feast
Scripture: Matthew 14:13-21
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know we have read this story a million times but Jesus is showing us how the Kingdom works. For example, what we see with our eyes may not be what God sees with His! Ok, there are two fish, five loaves of bread and over five thousand people. In the natural world and our eyes, that is not enough by any stretch of the imagination but to God this is more than enough. If you read verse 19, it says He looked up to Heaven and blessed the food. When Jesus did this, this opened a door from Heaven to Earth for God to pour out what he sees as more than enough. Now, you may think that sounds crazy but that is because you have not read the Bible. Can we say that Jesus was the first person to learn how to effectively split the atom J. Now let me show you how good God is, if you look at verse 20, it says and they all ate and were filled and took up 12 baskets full of fragments. Now the only way that 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread feed five thousand is that someone from another realm come in and give more. Because of Jesus’ faith, He showed the disciples how to control this circumstance. You have to believe there is more than you can see in this world. Our Father has the entire world in His hand and owns everything. So he can give, subtract, multiply and divide so as man gives Him the authority on Earth to do so and that is what Jesus did. Here is a small example! I had some people come over to the house for dinner and I saw the food and said to myself at first this is not enough for everyone but then the Lord brought these scripture to my remembrance and I put the situation in the Lord’s hands and after the party we had more than enough to give food away to some students. When faced with a situation that looks larger than you, look to the person inside of you and say “Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the World”. Now that is power!!!!! Do you possess the power to overcome the world’s situations?

A Promise Kept and a Nation Born
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: A Promised Kept and A Nation Born
Scripture: Matthew 14:1-13
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Here we see Herod has John the Baptist in prison. John the Baptist sent word to Jesus about His imprisonment and asked if He was the Christ. Of course Jesus sent word that He was the one that he (John) has been speaking of. So while in prison Herodias daughter danced and pleased Herod and Herod made an oath that anything she wanted she could have. Now being instructed of her mother, she asked for John the Baptist head in a charger. Herod was sad but because He made a promise, He had to keep it. So John the Baptist was beheaded and his head was put in a charger and delivered as promised. Now look at this, Herod was sad to do it, but He did because he made a promise. Now how many of us made a promise to God that they would get closer to to Him and do right, but do not? If Herod being evil still can keep his word, why can’t we?
Now, I know you are asking why didn’t Jesus save John the Baptist? After all He was the Messiah and can save all, so why not John? John the Baptist was the last prophet who had one foot in the Old Testament. So, if John the Baptist lived on, then we could not receive the Holy Spirit to live in us because he was the last person to have the Holy Spirit come upon him and leave. So, Jesus did not save John the Baptist because He was holding us as a nation back. So what satan and Herod meant with that sword to John the Baptist head for evil, they released a nation like never before, A Kingdom of Priests and a Holy Nation! Hallelujah!

Home Not-So-Sweet Home
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Home Not-So-Sweet Home
Scripture: Matthew 13:53-58; Isaiah 6:8
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know that you are wondering about the title of this message but Jesus is warning you about the problems the saints will have when they choose to follow Him. Let me show you this!
Here is Jesus, the Messiah, the prophecies speak of Him and everything that was prophesied to that point, He had fulfilled. But, because He came from Mary and He was the son of a carpenter, His own people could not accept that He was the Messiah. Was it because of the way He dressed? Was it because He did not look like a powerful military King sent to overthrow the roman government? Here, Jesus through the power of God, has performed all these miracles and exercised the dominion that the Father gave Him and yet they still did not believe. The people at home and home can be a church family as well as your immediate family, are some of the first people who may not accept you for who God says you are. Yes, they have grown up with you and they THINK they know you, but only God knows who you are. Would you rather be who God called you to be or live up to what man thinks you should be?
Sometimes, it will require us to move away from familiar territory and go into the unknown for the power of God to be made manifest in our lives. For the lack of unbelief at home, you may be required by God to go to an unknown land where danger is and where you may not even be accepted. But are you willing to go? The Lord showed me the scripture in Isaiah 6:8 – I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send and who will go for us? Can you say what the prophet Isaiah said, Here am I; send me!

Desiring Knowledge
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Desiring Knowledge
Scripture: Matthew 13:52-53
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In this Kingdom parable we see Jesus explaining that the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a man that is a householder which bringeth forth out of His treasure things new and old. What is unique about this is that when you become a citizen of the Kingdom of God then the Holy Spirit, through your desiring, seeking and wanting to know the Word of God, He will reveal the truth about the things old, which you had in your memory and reveal to you new things. Here is a good example, I have a lot of young people call me old (haha) for my age. I am 30 years young and getting younger. But the reason they call me old is because they say I am wise beyond my years. It is not because I am old, per say, but because when you desire to know the truth about the Kingdom of God, wisdom, knowledge and understanding is given to those citizens who wants to know. The wisdom, knowledge and most of all, understanding that is given is food for my spirit and continues to drive me to want to know more.
Here is a small revelation if you have not been seeking the Word of God, when you start, the Lord will show you in every way your life is wrong first, then reveal to you what you continue to want to know. Why does He do that? You must first come into the realization that the way you have been living is wrong and where it is wrong. Depending on your heart and your desire to still want to know and repent after that, then the Lord moves forward from there. When I started my journey, I had to give up so much for this journey, it cost me friends, family got upset with me, I had to deny the lifestyle I was living to go the way the Lord has called me. Was it initially difficult, yes but the reward since has been wonderful. The reality is if you do not want to know then God hides it from you. But if you want to know , He will reveal it to you. The Holy Spirit will reveal to you the things of old and new when you come into the Kingdom and seek His righteousness.

It's the Kingdom or Nothing at All!
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: It’s the Kingdom or Nothing at All
Scripture: Matthew 13:44-46
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
When we look at these two Kingdom Parables we see the Kingdom is first like a treasure hid in the field and when found by a man he sells all he has for that treasure. Then the Kingdom of Heaven is describes as a pearl that a merchant finds and sells all he had for that one pearl. Ok, seems simple but are you that man or that merchant? See are you willing to give up all in this world and be a citizen of the Kingdom and submit yourselves the King’s rulership? Are you willing to forsake your dreams and what you want to do, to do the Will of the Father for the Kingdom? In the Kingdom, it is all in or all out. You cannot and God will not let you be two-faced in His Kingdom because He is Holy and has integrity and so shall His citizens and children. Funny, here is another perspective. The merchant who found the pearl and the man who found the treasure forsook all they had for this one thing. Why? Because everything they needed and desired was in that pearl and that treasure. In other words, all you need is in the Kingdom!!! You do not have to search for the things of this world. In the Kingdom, they will search for you!!! Now that is easy living. So are you willing to give up all, family, house, car, to be a citizen of the Kingdom? Now let me clarify for those who may question the last statement. When I mean give up the things, I am talking about ownership and allowing the Lord to move those things from you in order to bless you with others. See when you own something or stake claim to it, God cannot move it easily from you, so you cannot easily get things from God. But if you do not take ownership in those things, when God says give, you give to whomever and then God blesses you because you unlocked a door in Heaven (Kingdom Key-Giving) and now God pours out a blessing upon you.

Today’s Focus: The Parable of the Leaven
Scripture: Matthew 13:33

Jesus illustrates to us how the Kingdom is like leaven in meal. One thing about leaven it spreads and expands until it overtakes the meal that it is in. Such is the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is going to grow and grow and keep growing until it overtakes the Earth. The Kingdom is forcefully advancing right now on Earth and the only ones who know it are the ones that have been taken over. As a part of the take-over, I see the Kingdom message and the Kingdom of Heaven advancing itself through this world of false religions and teachings. I rather be a part of a Kingdom and government that has no end! This Kingdom was the first and will be the last and only Kingdom. The question now is where is your citizenship? Are you a citizen of the Kingdom of God or a citizen of the kingdom of darkness. You are either or. Become a part of the take-over today and watch the advancement of the Kingdom in your life and know Heaven is on Earth and taking back territories and changing lives.

Today’s Focus: The Parable of the Mustard Seed
Scripture: Matthew 13:31-32; Isaiah 9:7
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know we have all heard the phrase “have faith the size of a mustard seed”. But look how Jesus correlates the Kingdom of God to this mustard seed. Even though it is the smallest of seeds, it becomes the largest of the herbs. So even though The Kingdom of God was on earth for a time and when mankind sinned and lost the Kingdom all the other kingdoms of the world grew in number and became large, but at some point they all fell and some utterly destroyed but the Kingdom of God starts out as this little seed in your heart when you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and as you grow and allow God to nurture and fertilize the seed within, you began to grow then you become like this large herb that can help others along the way. Such is the Kingdom of God. In addition, the Kingdom of God never stops growing unlike other kingdoms of the Earth (Isaiah 9:7). So have the faith of a mustard seed, but continue to nurture and fertilize that seed within with the Word of God and watch your faith grow thru every test and trial that comes your way! Be Blessed and Keep the Faith!

Parable of the Wheat and Tares
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Parable of the Wheat and Tares
Scripture: Matthew 13:24-30
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now, Jesus is preaching to the multitudes another Kingdom parable. This parable is unique because it describes wheat as the children of God and tares as the children of satan. Now as you read you see that the enemy (vs 25) came and sowed tares (weeds) amongst the wheat (children of God). Now as the fruit began to show the tares showed amongst the wheat. So now when the servants of the householder realize there are tares amongst the wheat they asked if they can go uproot and take out the tares from amongst the wheat. In other words, go and destroy the children of satan. But look at the Lord’s answer. He says No! Because in the process that you try to uproot the tare, you may uproot a wheat also. So even though all may not receive the Kingdom Of God on Earth the Lord of the Harvest will deal with the children of satan personally Himself. Jesus said, let them grow together until the harvest, or until He returns. Now here is where it gets good. At the time of harvest, the Lord will say to the reapers, gather together first the tares and bind them in bundles and burn them and gather the wheat into His barn. So the wheat will be saved and the tares shall burn in the eternal fire. But let me ask a question. Who are the reapers? Let’s look at Revelation 14:18-19! So the reapers are the Angels. When you read through Revelations you we see a large scope of what the Angels do and the power the Lord gave to them. That should make you feel secure because they have been given responsibility over you to keep you in all His ways. They are the Army or Security Force of the Kingdom of God. So surround yourself in a Godly environment and watch the fruits of the Spirit manifest themselves in your life.

Good Seed, Good Environment
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Good Seed, Good Environment
Scripture: Matthew 13:23
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know this is a small scripture but out of the last 3 messages we see what happens to those who receive the Word and it does not grow in them but land in unfruitful environments. But look at this scripture! Those who received seed into the good ground is he that not only hear the Word but understands it. Now you can have all the knowledge in the world but if you do not know how to apply it and use it (understanding) then the knowledge is useless. Many people come to church and hear the Word but do not understand it. But those who do bear forth good fruit and you can see the fruit multiply in their lives. If you want to receive the Word and understand it, you have to position yourself with God in order to allow the Holy Spirit to talk to you and give you the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the truth. If you hang around unfruitful people then you will be unfruitful. But if you hang around fruitful people (true citizens of the Kingdom) then if you desire to be like them then the seed that was planted in them shall be planted in you and then your faith, desire and seeking will let God know that you want to be cultivated, fertilized and nourished so that that seed now brings forth fruits that are pleasing to the King and His Kingdom. To our young people over the world, get with someone who knows about the Kingdom of God. When everything else is failing, the Kingdom of God will continue to stand and grow (Isaiah 9:7). But if you hang around people who don’t know God, do not want to know God and do not care for God, then what do you think you are going to begin to do? If you stay in an ungodly environment long enough, you become ungodly. So surround yourself with Godly counsel and people who do not just say they love the Lord but they show it in their lives. Even though I said this to the younger generation, same goes for the adults also. Surround yourself in an environment to breeds and feeds the Word of God and then watch your fruits grow and your light shine before men to let them know that Christ lives in you.

Today’s Focus: Parable of the Sower Part 3 – The Deception of Reality
Scripture: Matthew 13:22
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Let me lead off with some questions:
Do you believe in Heaven?
Do you believe that the Bible is the Constitution of the Kingdom of God and God’s Infallible Word?
Do you believe that the Heaven is more real than the visible world?
You have to be able to answer those questions for yourself because these are foundational questions to the Kingdom. Now the Word that falls upon the thorns shows that the cares of the world and deception of the world, choke the Word out of that person. This type of person has a cracked foundation or none at all. They hear the Word but because of what is going on in their life, they cannot understand it, let alone receive it. See, someone who is so occupied with this world and the things of this world find it hard to concentrate on the things that are most important which is the Will of God and the Kingdom. Good example right here! We have no problem getting up to go to work at 6am every weekday morning, regardless of the weather, to go make that money but when it is time to go to worship service or bible study we make excuses like this: I am too tired! It is my only 2 days off and I deserve to rest! It’s too cold to go to church! Let me ask you something, “Who gave you that job?” The same that gave, is the same that can take away and in this economy we know we do not want to get to that point. So do not allow the visible world and its cares to override the Kingdom and the power it gives you to control the visible world. The way that Heaven impacts Earth is through the children of God! His Will is done. Now do not go and do something stupid and say that I or this ministry told you that this world is not real. The point being made is that God gives you power, through the Holy Spirit to have dominion, or exercise royal power to control your circumstances and not your circumstances controlling you. Who would you rather follow, the will of man or the Will of God?
Here is something to think about: Where did everything that was made originate from?
However you answer that question, determines your thought process on whether you think that the Invisible World, Heaven is more real than the Visible World.

Religious Church People
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Parable of the Sower pt 2 – Religious Church People
Scripture: Matthew 13:5-6; 20-21
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
This parable describes many people who come to church for all the wrong reasons. They come to church for an emotional high so when they hear the Word it gives them joy but for a while and when persecution and strife rise in their life the Word is burned up and does not work for them. The same Word that can save them and is the solution to their problem is the same Word when trouble arises, they do not turn to it.
When we go to church, unless we have a heart-felt desire and a yearning to not just hear the Word but have a desire to learn it and live it, then our worship is in vain. Because after that service, you have to go out into the trying world and live in it. You need the Word to be grounded deep inside you and when trouble arises, you allow the Holy Spirit to bring to your remembrance the Word that was sown into your heart.
Go to the church with the intention to leave their different than you came and impact your life with the very Word you just learned. I believe this, it has been said in many churches every message is not for you and I believe that is the biggest lie that can be told. The Word of God is for everyone but you have to position yourself to hear the Word and allow the Holy Spirit to give you understanding. Remember, unless you want God and seek Him with all of your heart, then He hides from you? Have you seen the power of God today?

The True Message Satan Hates
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Parable of the Sower pt 1 – The True Message Satan Hates
Scripture: Matthew 13:4,19
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
We are going to break this parable down slowly and pray that we get a understanding of exactly what Jesus was trying to explain to the multitude. Look at the first set of scriptures.
19-When any one heareth the word of the Kingdom, and understand it not then cometh the wicked one and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received the seed by the way side.
Let’s bust up religion right here! Satan does not care about your preaching on faith, baptism, born again, prosperity, healing, miracle, season, harvest and breakthrough. That does not make satan do anything. It does not even phase him. But look at what Jesus says what makes satan move. The word of the Kingdom! So anytime and I know Satan is following this, you hear the message of the Kingdom, satan does not even wait for you to try to understand, he doesn’t send his angels, he comes personally to snatch the word of the Kingdom out of your heart before you understand. I had some mormons come to my house a couple of days ago spreading
Their message about the gospel of Jesus Christ. First of course I had to correct them about what the gospel is then second I showed them in the Word what will bring about the coming of Christ. It is not preaching prosperity, healing, miracle, or season or even your church doctrine (religious people). It is the preaching of the gospel of the Kingdom to every nation. Can we conclusively say based off of the last few statements that this is the reason Christ has not come back because His church, or assembly, has not got the message right themselves? And they are spreading their own message instead of the message He told us to spread. Satan hates the message of the Kingdom because it gives the power to the people and He wants to keep you in religion where religion controls you and you surrender power to the pulpit. I have met some wonderful people and pastors who preach the Kingdom and I can tell you when you understand Kingdom, then reading the Bible becomes ten times easier because now your mind is converted to understanding what God originally established on Earth, a Kingdom.

The Truth About Parables
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Truth about Parables
Scripture: Matthew 13:10-17
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
We will return to the parable of the sower but first we need to understand the purpose of the parables. Why did Jesus speak in parables? Many religious people say the parables were simple stories to help describe and explain something to the people so they can understand. I have heard they are simple stories that even a simple person can understand. But Jesus describes it a little different. A parable is a story that is meant to hide the truth and understanding from those who do not want to know. So why would Jesus want to hide the truth? Well because you have to want to know, you have to desire and seek the truth and the only people around Jesus that qualified and wanted to know the meaning of the parables were the disciples. That is why after many of the parables the disciples would ask Jesus to explain and He would. Now to prove the above statements about parables let’s look at the scriptures.
Jesus starts about by answering the disciples questions about parables in verse 11 by using these words, “For it is given unto you to know the MYSTERIES of the Kingdom of Heaven”. So what is a mystery? A mysteries is a problem that is not solved until someone comes and seek the answer to solve it. So, unless you want to know or desire to know the mysteries of the Kingdom, they will not be revealed to you. So, God blinds you from what you do not want to know. So these parables are like little maps in order to help those who want to understand how to find their way. Look at verse 13. Jesus says He speaks to them because seeing they see not and hearing they hear not, NEITHER do they understand. See the application of the parable comes when you get the understanding. Of course in the next scripture Jesus quotes scriptures and prophecies that are fulfilled then Jesus explains why the people will not understand. He first states their hearts are waxed gross or hard and their ears are hard of hearing and they are blind. Now He gives the answer on how this can be resolved. Lest at any time they shall see with their eyes and understand with their heart and should be converted and I (Jesus) shall heal them. So in other words, it depends on you! You have to want Jesus, you have to want to see the truth and hear the truth and allow the Spirit to give you the understanding.
Now look at the last set of scriptures, but blessed are your eyes for they see and your ears for they hear. Blessed are those who hear and see the truth and desire to know the truth. Are you one of those people?

Blasphemy - The Forgotten Sin of the Saints
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Blasphemy – The Forgotten Sin of the Saints
Scripture: Matthew 12:31-32
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know many leaders of the churches do not deal with this word but we best deal with it and have an understanding of what it is because Jesus says that blasphemy of the Holy Ghost is UNFORGIVABLE! First, we need to know what blasphemy is because I can tell you, some of you and many of your children are speaking blasphemy through songs and music and do not even know it. Let’s define blasphemy:
Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines blasphemy as:
1 a: the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God b: the act of claiming the attributes of deity
So, blasphemy of the Holy Ghost is the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence. Now read the scripture very very carefully, whoever speaketh a word against the Son of Man (Jesus) it shall be forgiven. So in other words, Jesus knew that people would talk about Him, betray and speak all manner of evil against Him. But when you speak against the Holy Ghost it will not be forgiven in this life nor in the world to come. So many of these Hip-Hop, Rap, Rock-n-Roll and other various artists have blasphemous lyrics that no citizen should every speak, let alone sing. Satan knows he cannot get you to worship him directly but if he can CAUSE you to do it, that is just as good. Let me give you an example, I let a young man hear the lyrics of one of his favorite artist where the artist says these words in his song “middle finger to the Lord”. Now he heard these words from the exact song of the artist, but because he liked his artist so much, he could not let go of the artist even though he committed blasphemy. Many of our children and some of our adults are in this exact situation. We make excuses for these artists who curse the Lord and commit blasphemy and because we like their beat, we can’t say enough is enough and stop listening to them. Sometimes we need to cut the beat off and read the lyrics and see just what these people are up to.
The people who make a mockery of the church and a mockery of our Lord and the Holy Ghost should not be getting your money nor your ear. Keep in mind the unforgiveable sin comes from the tongue. I urge you to be very careful of what you say and who you allow in your head through your ears. Blasphemy and it’s punishment is very real and if you do not want to burn in the eternal flames then I suggest we start rebuking the people, the industry and the artist that are influencing and speaking this blasphemous and unholy words into our lives.

Jesus or Satan
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Jesus or Satan? Your Choice
Scripture: Matthew 12:24-30
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Simple question but one many citizens have not made their decision in their heart. I know you are saying this is easy, I choose Jesus. But do you? What does your life reflect right now? Do you read your Constitution daily and seek God’s Kingdom in your life? Let’s look at the scriptures.
Jesus is confronting the Pharisees about the power in which Jesus was given to cast our devils. The Pharisees claim He cast out devils by Beelzebub or Satan. Look at Jesus response in verse 27! If Jesus cast out devils by the power of Beelzebub then who do your children cast them out by? So the same power that Jesus cast out devils is the same power we have given to do so through the power of the Father! Better said in verse 28. Now verse 29! Jesus is talking about binding the power and authority satan was given by mankind. And in doing so, He (Jesus) will give the power and authority back to the children of God so that they can help destroy the kingdom of darkness (satan).
Jesus finishes this up by clearly making the challenge, “He that is not with me is against me.” It is a matter of not just words, but of the heart. Who are you with based on your heart and your actions right now?

Put on the Kingdom
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Religion vs. The Kingdom Pt. 3
Put on the Kingdom
Scripture: Matthew 11:30
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In this final installment we see the scripture vs. 30, “For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Get ready to be blessed. The yoke Jesus is carrying is the Kingdom of God. Jesus is carrying it for you and He wants to give you the Kingdom. What is the Kingdom you ask?
The Kingdom of God is the governing influence of God’s rulership over a territory impacting it with His Will and His Purpose!
The territory on Earth that God wants to impact is not physical land! It is the hearts of man. So, Jesus is bringing a government back to Earth and wants to give it to you so you can function and live in it and lighten your burdens.
This leads me to the last half, “my burden is light”. When you live in the Kingdom, the citizens are not burden down. Why? Because all of the citizens cares are cast on the King. It is a government issue! Think Kingdom, Not republic, Not Democracy, Not Dictatorship, Not Communism, Not Socialism. Every issue of the citizens is a governmental issue. Your bills are a government problem! When someone offends you or commits a crime against you , then you have the authority to call the police of the Kingdom (Angels) and have them deal with the problem. I know many of you do not believe it but, that explains why you are tired and fighting so much and wondering why the world is against you and you do not have peace in your life. The time is now, come into the Kingdom and give your burdens to the King and live a life where you can control your circumstances and your problems because every Kingdom citizen knows they can cast their cares upon the King and He will take care of all of their concerns!

The Yoke
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Religion vs. The Kingdom pt 2
The Yoke
Scripture: Matthew 11:29; Isaiah 9:6-7; Galatians 5:22,23
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Please pay attention because here is the exact scripture where we separate religion from the Kingdom. Jesus says, take my yoke upon you. So we first have to define yoke. We know that a yoke is what oxen used to carry the load in the fields. But also, a yoke was something humans wore to carry something for someone else. Please stay with me it gets good. So it is apparent that Jesus was carrying something for you. The question is what is it? Is it a religion? Is it a denomination? Let’s go to Isaiah 9:6 for the answer. Now read it……Ok, what was Jesus carrying on His shoulder for you. That’s right a government! So stop saying we are a part of a religion. We are citizens of the Kingdom (Government) of God. Now look in Isaiah verse 7 and read..Look at what His government will do. It will grow and so will peace. So there is peace in the government of God. I told you. So why did Jesus come?
He came to bring a government!!! Now look at the character of the King and the Kingdom. Jesus says for He is meek (humble) and lowly. Jesus did not come to Earth with a silver spoon, long flowing white robe with jewels and diamonds. He came as a humble and lowly servant of the Father. Funny, meekness is one of the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22.23). This is the attitude and characteristics we should have as Ambassadors of Christ.
Finally, Jesus says if you put on my yoke (The Kingdom of God) then you will find rest for your soul. Now I do not know about you but Jesus was not talking about rest in Heaven. He is talking about rest on Earth, now, present-day. If you are stressed out and tired of the way your life is. Let me suggest you switch over to a government that provides rest and not stress, The Kingdom of God.

The Promise of Rest
Scripture: Matthew 11:27-30
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
This is a lot of information which we will separate into 3 different messages. Today we will talk about the Promise of Rest. Jesus said come unto me all ye that labour. Let’s start there. Labour is work. Can we say that many of us work our fingers and our heads off and still have nothing to show for it. How about we work so much that we do not have time for God because we have to make a living. Subsequently when things go wrong, we try to turn to God and when He does not answer on our time we get further depressed. Here is a revelation! You job is not for you to make a living. It is for you to use your talents and bring the Kingdom’s impact into your workplace. How about this also! Your salary does not truly meet all your needs in addition, you are worth more than your job can pay you. I hope you know that! Now, look at what Jesus said, Come unto me! Now look at the other half of the scripture:
Jesus says those who are heavy laden. Those who are oppressed, depressed, tired, burden-down. Let me add those who are religious! We understand what that feels like to be the first list, but to be religious is killing us. Jesus never brought a religion to Earth. Religion is man’s attempt to search for God. So, you live up to man’s expectations. You pray 7 times a day, go to mass everyday, try to escape your problems by praying to go to heaven. Some people strap bombs to themselves and kill innocent civilians in order to go to heaven. Some even burn down mosques and kill people in the name of Jesus. How religious! Can we even say, Heaven is causing more problems on Earth than Earth itself. But if you come to Jesus and follow His example, then you are promised rest. But if you don’t you will just be some religious person searching for someone who has already came down and found you. You will continue to be lead by man and not by God. You will continue to go to church and bible study and worship service for all the wrong reasons like, “because I am supposed to.”
Then there are those of us who are Ambassadors of the Kingdom of God who are working for the King and enjoying life. Whenever we have a problem we give it over to the King and the Army of the Kingdom. Rest is defined as peace and relief from stress. How many of you want that? If you do, it is time to switch governments and get your rights back as a citizen of the Kingdom of God.

Understanding Your Importance and Power
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Understanding Your Importance and Power
Scripture: Matthew 11:11-12
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Let’s get right into this because it is loaded and we have to cover it all.
Verse 11a – Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist
Now, Jesus says this for a reason. John was the prophet that got to actually see the King and introduce the King and the Kingdom on Earth. All the other prophets could only speak about the coming of the King and the Kingdom, but John got to introduce, see and touch the King. But John, while He was on Earth, never got into the Kingdom. He saw the King and baptized Him and saw the coming of the Holy Spirit, but John did not receive the Holy Spirit to come and live in Him. Which leads to the other half of the scripture.
Verse 11b – Notwithstanding he that is the least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he.
Loaded statement. Jesus is saying the one who is least in the Kingdom is greater than John. Huh, you say? From John and before no one received the Holy Spirit to live in them. Adam had it until He sinned and from Genesis to John, the Kingdom was not on Earth. The Holy Spirit would come upon people and the prophets and then leave because there was no one able at the time to be a good enough sacrifice to atone for the sins of mankind. So all the vessels from Adam after the fall to John were not inhabitable for the Holy Spirit. That is where Jesus comes in as a perfect sacrifice and because of His blood shed on the cross, our sins are able to be washed away and now our temple (body) is now available and habitable for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to live and not leave. How about that! So anyone after John that accepts Jesus as Lord and believes that God has raised Him from the dead can now receive the Holy Spirit to come and live in them. So you marvel at Moses and the water, Samson and His strength, David killing a Goliath and Jesus is saying you are greater than them all because you have the Holy Spirit living in you and can execute the Will of the Father as God’s Kingdom on Earth again. They all dreamed about having who you have living in you. You are special so act like it.
Verse 12
There is a takeover going on and only those who have been taken over by the Holy Spirit knows it. The Kingdom of Heaven is forcefully advancing and when it comes under pressure then you can really see the power of the Kingdom. The fight is not for land, but for hearts. This is the spiritual battle going on and anyone who is in the Kingdom and living the Kingdom life knows how hard it is out there to preach against the fake gospels that all of these prominent preachers and bishops are preaching on t.v. Then you have to contend with Satan himself and his angels. But we know we have victory on our side and I suggest you get wise and get a very good understanding of the Kingdom because in this time of Antichrists, false teachers, preachers and bishops, you have to know the Word for yourself.

Kingdom Key - Giving
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Kingdom Key #3 - Giving
Scripture: Matthew 10:41-42; Matthew 16:19
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Giving is one of the most difficult Keys of the Kingdom for the citizens to use. In this World we are kept by our possessions and God is saying I own everything so let it go. Now you have to remember this scripture to understand how the Key works, Matthew 16:19. So in order for God to loose something from Heaven to Earth, you have to loose something on Earth. Now this is good. How many of you, if someone walked up to you today and said, “hey, I like that coat, I wish I had one” and the Holy Spirit said “give them your coat”, would you? Now the only way you will know the voice of the Holy Spirit is that you have a relationship with the Holy Spirit. When you give to others, God gives to you. Now look at the scripture because this is a very unique situation.
Now if a man or woman of God comes in your presence and you receive that person and give that person even something as a small drink of water, God will give unto you. Now does that mean we only give to the man or woman of God to get things from God? No! Because the poor will always be with us and it is our calling to give and help others along the way. Now if you give to someone with the intent of trying to get something back then your giving is in vain. But also be careful who you are trying to get from. If you give to a crook then you get a crook’s reward. Giving should be from the heart to start with and when you give silently, God blesses you openly. Giving is not just material things. It is also service and time. Even though you may not have money, just giving of your service and time will unlock Heaven’s door and allow God to over-run you with blessings.

Power of the Sword
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Power of the Sword
Scripture: Matthew 10:34-39; Ephesians 6:17
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
After reading this set of scriptures, one may question is Jesus a warmonger? Well if you read it naturally then yes. But since this is a spiritual book, then the Holy Spirit must reveal to you the meaning of the statement. Let’s deal with this one verse at a time.
Verse 34 – The Sword
Now if you read it carefully, Jesus says I come not to SEND peace, but a sword. So what is Jesus sending. He is sending the Word of God. Now look at what the Word of God is going to do.
Verse 35-36 – The Word affects the Family
Now the Spirit just revealed this to me. Look at who and what order these members of the family will be set apart. A Son against His Father, A Daughter against her Mother and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. Notice it is the younger against the older member. Why is that? As time progresses and our children learn the true Word of God, many adults will find it hard to accept the truth from a child because they are stuck in their ways in believing they are wrong. It is nothing like a child telling an adult, what you are doing is wrong. We have to be careful to always be in a position to hear the Holy Spirit because He will not only come from the oldest person but also the youngest. If we think we are always right as adults then when the truth comes, if it comes from a child, we are too stubborn to hear it and we miss out. Now look at verse 36 very powerful. The foes of that man (person) shall be they of his own household. Now I do not know about many of you but some of us can testify to that. It is not meant to call them evil or anything it is because the people closest to you think they know you and when you give your life over the Christ and that new creature comes out of you, they are the first to find it hard to believe. So that is where Jesus is coming from and keep in mind, it was His own people and family that had a hard time accepting Him for who He was.
Verse 37 – God First
You must love the Father first. God is first and foremost, even above our earthly parents. Now our earthly parents have been given charge over us, but God is head over all and what He says is paramount and most important
Verse 38-39 – The Choice
Finally, Jesus is laying it out on the line. You will either take up your life as assigned by God with all of its benefits and troubles that will come because you are a child of God and follow Christ or you will die and not have the right to eternal life. Very straight forward. You have to deny the life you want to live and live the life God has called you to live for the Kingdom and when you do that, you will gain your life, not just in abundance in this world, but also eternal life in the World to come.

Call to Discipleship - Persecution
Today’s Focus: Call to Discipleship:
Part 2: Persecutions and Commitment to Truth
Scripture: Matthew 10:16-42
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know it is a lot to read but we take time for everything else, I know we can take time for God!. Let me forewarn you right now. As a disciple of Christ you will get persecution because they persecuted Him. Now I can tell you personally the persecution usually start from within the family, so do not get discouraged. The truth has a funny way of bringing out evil sprits because they even know the truth about Christ and the power He possesses. But Jesus said back in the Matthew 5:10:
10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
So many of the prophets and disciples were falsely accused and killed in the name of Jesus! But we have to get to a point where we do not fear man, but fear and love God and step out on the promises of His Word.
Many people will call you radical and crazy because Christ went against the norm back in biblical Israel and if you look at today’s world you know if you truly follow Christ then you will without a doubt be against what society calls the norm. In this walk we must also keep in mind that Christ is the Head of man so we should never get above Christ just because we know a little scriptures because in this lifetime we will never learn all of God’s mysteries. However, when Christ returns, all will be revealed. Every deception, lie and unknown thing will be revealed unto us. Live to learn as much as you can so that you can effectively fight the enemy daily. Does that mean since all will be revealed when Christ returns, then we do not have to read the Bible? Of course not! Revelation 13:16 states:
16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads
This let’s us know if we are not careful the devil will CAUSE you to worship him and take his mark. So staying in the Word of God and living it daily is the only way to help keep you from falling into the trap that satan is setting for mankind.
Finally, are you bold enough to stand up for Christ in the midst of trouble and death. One thing I love about God’s Word, is that when you become a part of it, it becomes a part of you and you have a passion and yearning for so much more wisdom and knowledge and reading daily it becomes an addiction and it is one that I suggest everyone gets hooked on. Despite what Jehovah’s Witnesses, Muslims or Buddhist say, you proclaim Christ as Lord and Savior and do not move off the foundation. If you read the ministry of Christ, it makes perfect sense why Christ had to come and redeem mankind and thank Him for doing so. It is time to deny this world and live for the Kingdom of God. Doing this will cost you your so-called friends, family members and the life you thought you may have. However, the reward will be great and all I want the Father to say to me is “Servant Well Done”.

Call to Discipleship - The Mission
Today’s Focus: Call to Discipleship: Part 1: The Mission
Scripture: Matthew 10:1-15
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
The phone is ringing and it is God on the line! He has said today is the beginning of the rest of your life and you have now been called to be a disciple of Jesus Christ! You have been wondering around and wondering what my purpose in life is and today we are going to start you on your journey. We pray that you read each scripture over the next 2 days and ask God to show you His way and what He would have you to do for Him.
Your Mission as a Disciple of Christ:
Go out into the World and preach the good news of the Kingdom of God and allow the Word to convert lost souls unto Christ! But here is a catch, you also have to live it because there are going to be people who remember you as a sinner and call you a hypocrite because you have turned your life over to Christ. All you need is Christ on this journey. He will surround you with Godly people to assist you while on this journey. The Gospel is free to all and we are to never charge anyone for it because it was freely given unto us. Beware there are those who will not even try to hear you about the Gospel, however do not get discouraged because there is always someone out there that wants to hear it and needs to hear it. For those who choose not to hear, judgment day is coming and God will handle that. This is your official call to turn from the way of the world and turn to Christ and allow Him to lead your life.

Who is the Sender?
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Who is the Sender?
Scripture: Matthew 9:36-38
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now, as we have been going through the Gospel of Matthew, I have learned that you have to read very very slowly because when Jesus speaks, every word counts. This set of scriptures is no different. Let’s take a look!
Vs. 37 – The Harvest
The harvest is the unsaved souls of the world. These are those who are believing all the wrong things and wrong people. Now look what Jesus says about the harvest. The labourers are few. So in other words, the harvest is plentiful, so there are many out there who are ready to hear the gospel of the Kingdom and get their rights back but the people who are needed for the harvest are few. Now look at verse 38!
Vs. 38 – Lord of the Harvest
Jesus says we should pray that the Lord of the Harvest will send forth labourers into His Harvest. Now follow along. The harvest belongs to the Lord so the Lord knows what His harvest needs. So you should pray the Lord sends His labourers, those who know what they need, into his harvest. So the Lord knows what the harvest needs and He equips the labourers with the right tools (message) for the harvest. I told you this was loaded. So many people want to go and do what they want to do and say they are furthering the Kingdom but all they are doing is messing up and ruining the harvest. The key is pray that the Lord send. So they should be sent by the Lord. Well how would you know they are. Let’s go back to the message about the fruits they bear. You will know them by the fruits. See you can evangelize the world with the wrong message. So you need to pray the Lord sends His messengers and labourers into His harvest. See, God knows what the harvest needs and the harvest needs the Kingdom of God. How about that! So how can you harvest something without the right tools. So many people are out there hurting the harvest with the wrong message and making it extremely hard for those with the right message to effectively do their job. You cannot effectively influence people with the right message if you do not understand it.
It is my prayer that you know what the Kingdom of God is and how it functions and works on Earth. It is not until you understand that will you be ready to effectively witness to the harvest.

It is my prayer that you know what the Kingdom of God is and how it functions and works on Earth. It is not until you understand that will you be ready to effectively witness to the harvest.

The Real Gospel
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Real Gospel
Scripture: Matthew 9:35
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I really like scriptures like this because you can do an entire message on just this scripture. Religion has told us the gospel is Jesus. Man has made the gospel, faith, healing, baptism and the Holy Ghost, inclusion (beware of this one), prosperity, season, harvest, miracle and I can go on and on. But what did Jesus say the Gospel was? Now that is a question. Look at what Jesus was doing in verse 35.
He was teaching first! So in other words, he was instructing people on how to live. And next He was preaching! Now what was He declaring (preaching) the gospel (good news) of the Kingdom! So the gospel is the Kingdom of God. It is not all of this other mess that we as mankind have tried to make it to be. The problem is, is when you do not understand something, you can’t explain it, so you go and make it something that you know about and then call it that. That was a lot but read it slowly and hopefully it will come to you. The Gospel of the Kingdom of God is the ONE TRUE Gospel! Everything else is an imitation and a fraud.
You have to read and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal things like this to you. The reason we have fallen for all these charismatic preachers is because it sounds good and we just do not want to read. The problem is, this is when satan uses them to keep you in darkness of the truth. Yes! He uses God’s own to hold God’s own in bondage. See, you have to spiritually discern these messengers and preachers today. Everyone does not have your life’s interest at heart. I thank God for our ministry, because we do not ask for money. Just your heart and spirit to be open to learning the truth about who you are and who God has called you to be. We strive to present the truth using the scriptures to show you in which way you are to live and in which ways your life needs to change. Be Blessed in the Word of God.

Sinners to Repentance
The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Sinners to Repentance
Scripture: Matthew 9:10-14
Greetings Kingdom Citizens:
Let’s start with a basic question:
Who Needs to be saved and enter into the Kingdom?
Is it the righteous? According to Jesus, No! It is the sinners. Now as I was searching for wisdom, knowledge and understanding, Jesus explains to the Pharisees and those around that he is a physician in so many words. Those who are well do not need a doctor but those who are sick need one. The thing that makes us sick is sin. Sin is a spiritual disease which can ultimately lead to physical disease. Jesus has come to heal the sickness throughout the people. Now, as you read further Jesus knows the Pharisees did not understand it so He left it at that.
The big problem we have is, in today’s world, we cannot tell the difference between the sinners and the citizens. The citizens still act like the sinners and the sinners are becoming more confused about who Jesus truly is because why would they want a God that does not work for the people that believe in Him. Evangelism and witnessing has become so difficult, not because of satan, but because of wayward Christians parading around like true-Christians and citizens of the Kingdom.
Sin is a disease that can only be healed by forgiveness and repentance. Now after being sick, I know many of us do not want to get sick again so we try to do everything in our power to avoid what got us sick the first time. So our preventative medicine and regimen is knowledge and the Word of God! So the longer you do not read, the more chance you have of repeating those same offenses and having the same spiritual diseases.

Your Power
Today’s Focus: Your Power
Scripture: Matthew 9:1-8
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In the last message we talked about the difference between the Son of Man and the Son of God. In this set of scriptures, Jesus reveals a secret to the scribes that after this message, I pray it changes the views about the true power and potential you have. The secret is found in verse 6. Jesus says “ye may know that the Son of Man hath power on Earth to forgive sins”. This is very very loaded so let’s break it down.
First, in order for any spirit to operate or have dominion on Earth, it has to have a body. That is why your true self is inside your fleshly body. That is why your body is a house or a temple for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Now, since God is Holy and He gave His children authority over the Earth, the only person who has authority in the Earth are God’s children or mankind. So the only way Jesus could operate or have authority on Earth, is that He is a man. So that is why He calls Himself the Son of Man. God needs man’s permission to intervene on Earth because He is Holy and have to abide by the rules He set. So the only way God can intervene is through prayer and intervention. So in actuality, through the power of the Holy Spirit you have power on Earth to do the Will of the Father.
Finally look at verse 8! The people marveled at what power God has given to men. Funny, they actually marveled and thought the exact right thing, but the problem is over long-term did many of them believe it? Sad, some wonders happen right before our eyes and we will not give God His credit. We have power on Earth and I have experienced it and have seen it. Now, it is your choice whether you want to think you are powerless but God wants His children to use the power He has given us and to do His Will. Now the next statement may shock you or maybe it will not, but it is meant for you to stop thinking religious and think Kingdom.
God gave you power on Earth, when you die and go to Heaven, you have no authority or power there!
In other words, have fun, live good and do the Will of God and be the leader God knows you are and set the standard for the Word to show, Jesus Lives! Once you die, it is over until Jesus returns and the New Earth comes down. God wants you to have fun, but He also wants you to put Him first. You have power, use it!!!

The Devils Know the Messiah
Today’s Focus: The Devils Know the Messiah
Scripture: Matthew 8:28-34
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
This is a unique situation and when I read it, the Lord opened my eyes even further to who knows the Messiah and the Savior. Ok. Jesus comes into Gergesenes and met two possessed with devils. Now the funny thing is here we are, children of the Most High and Almighty God and Little brothers and sisters to the King, Jesus Christ and many of us do not even know Him. But look at verse 29! The devils knew who He was. They called Him, Jesus, Son of God. Now, you would say ok what’s the big deal? Jesus did not call himself the Son of God on Earth. When he referred to Himself on Earth, He called Himself the Son of Man. When He calls Himself the Son of God, He is referring to Himself when He comes back in all His glory. Now look again what the devils called Him. They realize who He truly was.
Now, if the devils know who Jesus is, shouldn’t His own family know? This is a bad reality in the Kingdom. It is like, I live in a Kingdom but I do not know who the King is? Sounds stupid, but a reality for many citizens. It is time for us to stop playing church and be about our Father’s business. Everyone has to know the Messiah for themselves and no one can speak for you. I am sorry, if you do not read the Word of God and have a relationship with Him, He will say to you in that day, Depart from me, I knew you not. Are you willing to take a chance on that or are you willing today to have a relationship with our King? The choice is yours!

Kingdom First
Today’s Focus: Kingdom First
Scripture: Matthew 8:21,22
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know when people read these two scriptures they think Jesus was very insensitive. Now let me show you this. We know of the 12 disciples Jesus chose. But look it says another of His disciples. Many people chose to follow Christ and made themselves disciples or students of Christ. So one of these disciples asked if they can first go bury their father. Now, when you use the word first, that means priority and Jesus had to set this disciple straight. Nothing comes before the Kingdom and its business. Not even the death of a loved one. Now here is a revelation!
Why worry about a temporary situation. Death is a temporary circumstance to Jesus. Jesus says that He is the resurrection. So He knows that his disciple’s father’s death was a temporary circumstance that can and will be solved by Him. So, even death should not come before the Kingdom and God’s Will. Sounds insensitive, but the reality is Jesus is saying if you are going to follow Him and live in the Kingdom you must keep the Kingdom first and foremost in your life. Temporary situations and circumstances will come but they should not deter you from doing the Will of God first.

Motives
Today’s Focus: Motives
Scripture: Matthew 8:19-20
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
As Jesus was going around performing these miracles, people began to follow Him and want to be healed and devils cast out and all the power to be shown. But there were some that Jesus knew who want to follow Him that had alterative motives. Look at this scribe, He says Master, I will follow you wherever you go. But look at Jesus response. He basically says, I have nothing to give you. See some people were coming and trying to follow Jesus to get things! They have their own reasons and not the Will of God on their mind and Jesus had to let this scribe know, I don’t even have a place to lay my head. So the question is Why are You Following Jesus?
I follow King Jesus because I want the Will of God and His Kingdom to continue to infiltrate the World and destroy the kingdom of Satan. I know I can do nothing of myself but through the power of God, and allowing God to use this vessel to do His wonders, I can see God and His power everyday and glorify Him and worship Him knowing that one day, the Son of God, Jesus is coming back for the final showdown and I look forward to serving and worshipping the Almighty even into eternal life. I can personally care less about the things of this World. I know that the King supplies all of my needs and all of my desires and even if He does not fulfill all of my desires, I know He can and I know He knows what is best for me.
So what is your motive for following Jesus Christ?
