Fathering Within the Tribe

Israel: The Kingdom’s 42nd Immortal Generation

Today’s Focus: Fathering Within the Tribe

Scripture: Hebrews 12:9; Ephesians 5:25; Titus 2:4

Greetings Kingdom Citizens

Since the order is changed from physical to spiritual, the fathers who raise or bring sons to maturity are fathers not by blood but by the Spirit. Let me explain. God is the Father of our spirits.

Hebrews 12:9: Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

So it is not about the flesh but of the spirit. Now these spiritual fathers are very unique in their fathering and their approach and attitude toward the sons. We know that they display the love and character of the Father. However the fathers do not highlight their status but they give way to the sons. The Father’s bless the sons. The Father blesses us and so also should the spiritual fathers bless the sons. The Heavenly Father does everything for His sons and the sons work for nothing but still have access to everything. Let me show you a mystery revealed:

Paul spoke about Husbands and Wives to the church at Ephesus and to his son Titus.

Ephesians 5:25: Husbands love your wives even as Christ lived the church, and gave Himself for it.

Titus 2:4: That they may teach (elder women) the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

Hence Husbands (fathers/Christ) are to lay down their lives for their wives (sons/Church). The wife (sons/Church) are to love their husbands (fathers/Christ). Do we see the parallel? It is not about a Sunday, Praise and Worship Service but about a Holy Family in the Kingdom of God. The common denominator within the House of God is love. The new commandment that Jesus gave was that we are to love one another. Jesus gave His life for the sons that we may live and be restored back into the House of God. The Trinity loves one another by being prepared to die for each other by serving each other’s end. Jesus did that for us. Hence the Trinity prefers the lesser (human race) before themselves. Greater love hath no man than this that he lay down his life for his friends.

In the next message I want to look back at King David and His heart to restore the glory of God and then we will continue this study in understanding the Immortal Generation.

Peace, Love and Grace from the Father,
