Today’s Focus: Revelation of the Doma Gifts and the Sons of God Part 2

Scripture: Ephesians 4:13

Greetings Kingdom Citizens

In this message we will look at how the five-fold ministry operated in the sons of God. Now we are saying all five gifts working in one person. Now our first example is the Lord Jesus Christ. Now we can find every gift of the five-fold ministry in Christ as He walked the Earth. Now some will say well He was God in the flesh so He should be able to operate all five in one. Jesus is our elder brother and God sent Him to show us the way! Now Jesus shows us the way so that we can understand where we are supposed to grow to. Now notice when Jesus talked about His followers, He called them His disciples, or brethren. He did not give them a title. Hmm. Is it because He knew that they were to grow unto the mature son of God and allow God to use whatever gift they have for His eternal purpose. So Jesus would be the easiest to explain this but what about others. For the sake of time I want to use a relationship that was very open and use Paul and Timothy to frame this discussion.

When we look at Paul everyone knows that He was an apostle that is evident but what about the other four gifts. Paul was a teacher because He gave instruction to the Gentiles as it pertains to Christ. Paul operated in the gift of the evangelist because he taught the people how to spread the gospel and show the love of God towards each other and the lost. Just read 1 Corinthians 13. Paul operated in the gift of the overseer or pastor. Perfect example was the fact that Paul oversaw the souls of Timothy and Silas and brought them to maturity. Finally, Paul operated in the gift of the prophet because He taught people how to hear God through submission, fasting and praying. In addition, Paul was given revelation into things that had not yet happened as it pertains to the end times (Thessalonians) to calm the fears of them at Thessalonica. Now as I just said Timothy was given to Paul and He was commissioned by the presbytery to go with Paul.

Paul received Timothy as his son. Remember Paul had no sons and no wife so what type of son was Timothy to Paul. He was Paul’s spiritual son and Paul was Timothy’s spiritual father. Now Paul was a mature son of God and spiritual father to a number of people. It was Paul’s responsibility to bring Timothy to maturity. The question is did Timothy operate in all five gifts? The answer is yes. Timothy operated in the apostolic with Paul, he was a pastor or overseer. He was told to do the work of an evangelist. He was told to teach sound doctrine. And Timothy was operating in the prophetic in teaching people that they can hear God.

Now Ephesians 4:13 says “Till we all come” this tells us that some have arrived to the full stature of Christ but not all. The ones who have arrived are the spiritual fathers who put on display the culture of the Son and the nature of the Father to disciple the sons to maturity. In the next message we will look at defining the Spirit of the Son.

Scripture: Ephesians 4:11-13

One of the misconceptions when we talk about the Doma gifts or the five-fold ministry is that everyone has a gift in the singular sense. The reason this is a dominant mentality is when people read the scripture, Ephesians 4:11 they see the word “some” denoting a separation of gifts. Now is this true? Yes! But when we read scripture we must get the entire context because Ephesians 4:11 is not a complete sentence and so there is more. Now what has happened is that we have separated the gifts and tried to determine, who is over who and who is in control of who? This has lead to the separation and calling out of gifts and in some cases the denouncement of others.

In today’s church culture the predominate gifts are the Apostle, Pastor and Prophet. In some denominations they do away with Apostle and Prophet and it is just the Pastor. Now this brings us this problem with this culture and mindset of separation of the gifts, because the scriptures teach another mindset and culture. The anointing, the Spirit of Christ is all five gifts wrapped into one anointing. So the gifts are five separate pieces of the same anointing. Who is the anointing once again? The Spirit of Christ. Now when God sent His Son into our hearts did He send a portion or piece of His son or did He send the fullness of His Son? God sent His Son into our hearts. Now let’s see what the scripture says because we are drawing a picture.

Ephesians 4:11-13: And He gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some evangelists and some pastors and teachers; For the perfecting (maturing) of the saints, for the work of ministry (service), for the edifying (benefit) of the Body of Christ: TILL WE ALL COME IN THE UNITY OF FAITH, AND OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD, UNTO A PERFECT (COMPLETE) MAN, UNTO THE MEASURE OF THE STATURE OF THE FULNESS OF CHRIST.

Now do we understand what God is saying here? Is it possible for a son of God to operate in all five gifts? What does the scripture say? It says Jesus gave some the gifts for the maturing of the saints and to bring us to the unity of the faith unto a complete man. The complete man is the mature son of God who is in the stature of the fullness of Christ. What is the fullness of Christ? All five gifts in operation within the son of God. Now I know this defies our current mindset but there is proof and it is in the Word of God.

Today’s Focus: Empowering the Sons of God

Scripture: Ephesians 4;6,7; 1 Peter 2:2; John 1:11

The highest order of anything is to become the thing. Now we are to become like Christ as He was on the Earth operating the Kingdom of God and manifesting its culture and the culture of the Father. So how does God do this? He empowers us through the Spirit of Christ.

Ephesians 4:6,7: One God and Father of all who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us (sons) is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

God empowers us by giving us gifts to operate in but what is unique all of the gifts are of Christ. These gifts are what is used to mature the sons of God to the fullness of Christ that each and every one of them has been called to be before the foundation of the world. How do we know this?

John 1:11: But as many as receive Him (Christ), to them (sons) gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

So as many as people that believe on the name of Jesus Christ have received Him. Who is Him, the Spirit of Christ. What does Christ do? He gives them power? How does He empower the sons? Through gifts. Why does He empower them? He empowers them to become the sons of God. Now this may seem weird because we already said that once you receive Christ, you are a son of God, so why must you be empowered to become a son of God? The son of God that John 1:11 is speaking of is becoming a mature son of God. When we are born into the world, naturally, no one comes into the world a grown man and woman. There has to be some maturing and discipleship to bring the child to adulthood or maturation. This is why when one is born again of the Spirit of God, the Word of God tells us this:

1 Peter 2:2: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, THAT YE MAY GROW THEREBY.

So God NEVER intended for us to stay immature and babes in Christ. We are to desire the milk or the foundation of the Word that we may grow and mature to handle the meat of the Word. Now if you never mature from infancy in Christ then you do not have to worry about the gifts of the Spirit because the gifts of the Spirit are for the mature and God will not entrust the gifts to immature children or even orphans. So yes this requires you to fast, pray, study and have a relationship with the Lord so that you do not remain an infant in Christ.

In the next message we will look at the “Doma Gifts” or what is called the Five-fold Ministry and show how the Spirit of Christ reveals their use for the maturation of the sons.

New Teaching Series: The Spirit of Christ: Introduction

The Spirit of Christ

Today’s Focus: Introduction

Scripture: Romans 8:11,15,16; Galatians 4:6; Genesis 1:26

What is the Spirit of Christ? To sum it all up into one word, it is Son. The Spirit of Christ is Son. We hear many people say they are Christ-like. What does that mean? Evaluating the state of the church we are going to have some problems really explaining that but in this series we want to look at the Spirit of Christ and how we are called to be like Christ and walk in the fullness of the Spirit of Christ.

In order to walk in the Spirit of Christ you must first have Him dwelling in you. Now watch this scripture because we will be coming back to this passage later in the series:

Galatians 4:6: And because ye are sons, God hath sent for the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Do we see this? God is sending the Spirit of His Son. Who is the Spirit of His Son? Christ! Just like we said before that the Spirit of Christ is Son. Now notice the scripture does not say, because you are Christians, it says because you are sons. This means our primary identity is to be sons of God. A son in Hebrew is an offspring. So when I use the term son, this includes males and females. Let me show you this next set of scripture to further prove that your primary identity is not Christian but son. Now I will use two scriptures of this entire passage for the sake of time.

Romans 8:11,15,16: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead DWELL IN YOU, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (give life) to your mortal bodies by HIS SPIRIT THAT DWELLETH IN YOU. 15-For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God

So it is the abiding of the Spirit of Christ in us to confirm that we are sons of God. God has always maintained this identity for us. Even when it came to Adam, Adam was called His son. Everyone who came from the womb of God are sons of God. God designed us to be in His image and after His likeness and to have dominion (Genesis 1:26) that is our purpose. Now this dominion just does not automatically happen. There are steps that God takes us through to bring us to the level where we can handle the power and authority given to us.

In the next message we will look at how God does that because if we do not understand how God does this we will not be able to manifest the Kingdom culture and culture of the Son.

Today’s Focus: Spiritual Israel: The Concept of Grafting

Scripture: Romans 9:27; Romans 11:23,24

Let’s look at this scripture and open this concept up to you for your understanding.

Romans 11:23,24: And they (physical Israel) also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be GRAFFED in: for God is able TO GRAFF THEM IN AGAIN. For if thou (Gentiles) wert cut out of the olive tree which was wild by nature, and wert GRAFFED CONTRARY TO NATURE into a good olive tree: how much more shall these (physical Israel), which be the natural branches, be GRAFFED INTO THEIR OWN OLIVE TREE?

In the medical field the process of grafting is basically taking for example, skin from one part of the body and putting it on another. Let’s say you have some damage on your cheek from an accident. They can take the skin from your thigh and graft it into your cheek and the skin will grow just like the original skin that was there. But look at this in verse 23, Paul is speaking about physical Israel and their unbelief in Jesus and because of that they were once natural branches that have been broken off due to their unbelief. How do we know? The scripture says if they let go of their unbelief they will be GRAFFED IN AGAIN!! What does this mean? It means that they were once grafted in but have been broken off because of their unbelief. Once they believe again, they will be grafted back in. Physical Israel was once grafted in because they carried the name of God and the seed of Christ. But once Christ came, their unbelief cut them off from the promise of the Spirit.

Now for everyone that teaches that everyone who is naturally born in the physical nation of Israel will be saved even though they deny Christ as the Savior this scripture will bring it home:

Romans 9:27: Esaias (Isaiah 10:22) also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, A REMANANT SHALL BE SAVED.

What does this mean? The remnant of physical Israel that will be saved are the ones who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. They are the remnant that will be saved. There are Messianic Jews who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and they will be saved. The others will not. Now you may disagree with that but the Lord is very clear when He said: I am the way, the truth and the life, NO MAN, and that means NO MAN, COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY HIM. Either you make Him Lord and be born into the spiritual nation of Israel and be saved or you will be at the Great White Throne Judgment and face the lake of fire for eternity. It is the choice that every man must make.

In closing, Spiritual Israel is the Kingdom’s 42^nd Immortal Generation. We are the Holy Nation and the Royal Priesthood who have accepted the Eternal Covenant of Sonship. We are the true Jews who have been circumcised in the heart and in the spirit and the city that we will dwell in, in eternity is not made by the hands of man, The New Jerusalem that will come down out of God. I do not know about you but I thank the Father for opening our eyes more to who we are. We are not just Christians, but the Immortal Israel of God. The Children of the Promise

Today’s Focus: Spiritual Israel: The Children of the Promise

Scripture: Galatians 3:14,16,29;

Now we have looked at the first century church and saw that the children of Israel stirred up trouble with the church out of jealousy because they believed that they are the children of promise because Abraham is their father and because they are born into the natural lineage of Abraham. Now Paul and Barnabas dealt with the children of Israel on several occasions with this problem and today we want to lay to rest who are the children of promise.

Galatians 3:14: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the PROMISE OF THE SPIRIT THROUGH FAITH.

So the promise is the Spirit of God through faith. Faith in who? Jesus Christ. So a child of the promise is one who has accepted Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Risen Savior. Now remember the children of Israel believe that they are the children of promise because they are of the seed of Abraham. Watch this:

Galatians 3:29: And if ye be Christ’s, THEN ARE YE ABRAHAM’S SEED AND HEIRS OF THE PROMISE.

The key here in understanding this that the children of Israel are misunderstanding is the seed part. They say that they are the seed of Abraham. The promise was made to Abraham and HIS SEED, SINGULAR, NOT SEEDS. Watch this!

Galatians 3:16: Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

So the only way that you are an heir of the promise is that you be Christ and in being Christ you are Abraham’s seed.

The True Jews

Israel: The Kingdom’s 42nd Immortal Generation

Scripture: Romans 9:6-8; Romans 2:28,29

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now I know somebody is saying “Calvin has gone over the deep end with this one” but I urge you to bear with us and let’s see what the scripture says. Now this one will be a eye opener for every born again believer because these scriptures have always been here.

Romans 9:6-8: Not as though the Word of God hath taken none effect. FOR THEY ARE NOT ALL ISRAEL, WHICH ARE OF ISRAEL: NEITHER BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM, ARE THEY ALL CHILDREN: BUT, IN ISAAC SHALL THY SEED BE CALLED. THAT IS, THEY WHICH ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE FLESH, THESE ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD: BUT THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE ARE COUNTED FOR THE SEED

Do we see this, Paul is saying that everyone who is naturally born of Israel is not all Israel. He goes on to explain that the children of the flesh (physical, bloodline Israel) are not the children of God but the children of the promise are. In the next message we will see who the children of the promise are. But Paul is making a clear distinction that flesh is flesh and just because you were born naturally into a Jewish family, that does not make you the Israel of God. Now let’s deal now with our topic today, “Who are the true Jews”. Paul tells us!

Romans 2:28,29: For HE IS NOT A JEW, WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; Neither is that circumcision, WHICH IS OUTWARD IN THE FLESH. But HE IS A JEW, WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY; AND CIRCUMCISION IS THAT OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE LETTER; WHOSE PRAISE IS NOT OF MEN BUT OF GOD.

So a Jew, ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD, is not one who is circumcised outwardly in the flesh (physical Israel). Remember, flesh cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. But it does say that a true Jew, ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD, is one who is circumcised of the heart and in the spirit. With that said, the True Jews are the sons of God. We are the Israel of God because we have been born again into the House of God and make up the Holy Nation of Israel and the Kingdom of God.

In the next message we will begin to wrap this powerful series up with a look at the children of the promise. Paul mentioned it to the church at Rome but he goes into a brief explanation to the church at Galatia.

A Born Again Revelation

Israel: The Kingdom’s 42^nd Immortal Generation

Today’s Focus: Spiritual Israel: A Born Again Revelation

Scripture: John 3:1-7; Revelation 21:2

Greetings Kingdom Citizens

Now many people preach the born again message and today we will get some understanding into “born again”. Nicodemus who is a ruler of the Jews came unto Jesus by night. Now this is funny because Nicodemus is coming in the middle of the night hoping not to be seen by anybody to ask Jesus a question. Now Nicodemus knows that Jesus is from God because he said “No man can do these miracles except God be with him” (John 3:2). Jesus knowing already why Nicodemus was coming to him said this:

John 3:3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb and be born?

Now Jesus and Nicodemus is discussing how to enter into the Kingdom of God. Now here is the clear message Jesus is telling Nicodemus and Israel. Whatever you are in right now, is not the Kingdom because you must be born again. Nicodemus asks the obvious question that all of us would have asked, is it possible for us to enter into our mother’s womb a second time to be born. Now Jesus brings the revelation about the Kingdom and the Holy Nation home. Watch this:

John 3:5,6: Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Jesus is telling Nicodemus, look, to enter the Kingdom of God, you must be born of water and the Spirit. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God because the Kingdom of God is an eternal Kingdom made up of spirits who are also family. This Kingdom and family make up a Holy Nation. So when Jesus says do not marvel that you have to born again we understand “born again” to born into the House of God, the Kingdom of God and the Holy Nation of Israel. Jesus is making it clear that what physical Israel was then and is now CANNOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD UNLESS THEY ARE BORN OF THE SPIRIT AND THAT REQUIRES THEM TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR. However, in the physical nation of Israel they have banned the New Testament so who are they banning, Jesus Christ the Savior of the World. Now let me show you this. What is the capital city of Israel? Jerusalem. But look at this:

Revelation 21:2: And I John saw THE HOLY CITY, NEW JERUSALEM, COMING DOWN FROM GOD OUT OF HEAVEN PREPARED AS A BRIDE ADORNED FOR HER HUSBAND.

Is the New Jerusalem for people who do not accept Jesus Christ as Savior? Of course not. So the physical city of Jerusalem is a type and shadow of the true Jerusalem to come. A CITY NOT MADE BY THE HANDS OF MAN. This city will be for the Holy Nation of Israel, the House of God, the sons of God that have been washed in the blood of the Lamb.

With all of this said, who is a Jew then?

Confrontations with Physical Israel

Today’s Focus: Spiritual Israel: Confrontations with Physical Israel

Scripture: Acts 13:44-48

Greetings Kingdom Citizens

Let’s get right into the scripture and get a picture:

Acts 13:44-45: And the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the Word of God. But when the Jews (physical Israel) saw the multitudes, THEY WERE FILLED WITH ENVY, AND SPAKE AGAINST THOSE THINGS WHICH WERE SPOKEN BY PAUL, CONTRADICTING AND BLASPHEMING.

Ok, so now the Word of God is going forth but the Jews of physical Israel were filled with envy and spoke against the word of God being spoken by Paul. Now I like what is about to happen because in the face of people who are trying to subvert the truth, when God wants slow their bus down, He gives us courage and speaks through us with confidence and command. Now watch this:

Acts 13:46-48: Then PAUL AND BARNABAS WAXED BOLD, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you (physical Israel): BUT SEEING YE PUT IT FROM YOU, AND JUDGE YOURSELVES (USING THE LAW OF MOSES) UNWORTHY OF EVERLASTING LIFE, LO, WE TURN TO THE GENTILES. For so hath the Lord command us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Do we see this? Paul and Barnabas got bold and explained to the Jews there that the word of God, this same word was spoken to you first by the Lord. Now why was this the case? This was the case because they were the ones that carried the seed of Christ and the name of God until Jesus came. They were given all the types and shadows so that they would know when Jesus arrived, He would deliver them and restore them as sons of God and heirs of the promise. Moreover do you see this big point? Because the Jews rejected the Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ they are unworthy of everlasting life. This was a strong condemnation of the Jews and they were highly upset and furious with Paul and Barnabas, but the Gentiles were happy and joyous to receive the Word of the Lord.

Now there is a stark difference between physical Israel and Spiritual Israel and I want to take you back to an encounter between a leader of physical Israel and Firstborn of Spiritual Israel, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The First Century Church and Physical Israel

Today’s Focus: Spiritual Israel: The First Century Church and Physical Israel

Scripture: Acts 10:11-16; 34,35

Greetings Kingdom Citizens

Much like Jesus, the first century church ran into conflicts with physical Israel as it relates to people being heirs of the promise. So let’s start in a unique place with Peter. We know Peter was the outspoken one of the original disciples. However, Peter had a slight problem and the Lord had to deal with this problem and so the Lord deals with Peter, who is child of Israel by blood, in this manner:

Acts 10:10-16: And he (Peter) became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, and saw Heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill and eat. But Peter said, Not so Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hast cleansed, that call not thou common. This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

Now for many people this is the scripture that justifies eating pork and everything else. Wrong interpretation. After the dream God sends three people to Peter to go to get him to come preach the gospel to Cornelius who is a Gentile. Remember Jews considered Gentiles to be UNCLEAN. Upon his meeting with Cornelius Peter spoke these words:

Acts 10:34,35: Then Peter opened his mouth and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respector of persons: but in EVERY NATION HE THAT FEARETH HIM, AND WORKETH RIGHTEOUSNESS , IS ACCEPTED WITH HIM.

God was showing Peter that the promise of the Holy Spirit was not only for those of physical Israel but also the Gentiles and to sum it up. Here it is:

Acts 10:44,45: While Peter yet spake these words the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the Word. And THEY OF THE CIRCUMCISION (PHYSICAL CHILDREN OF ISRAEL) WHICH BELIEVED (MESSIANIC JEWS) WERE ASTONISHED, AS MANY AS CAME WITH PETER, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Now listen, there were Spiritual Children of Israel who had accepted the Word of Christ who were also natural children of Israel with Peter to see this powerful revelation. God did not want Peter to be a racist and think only the Holy Spirit was for the Jews but understand that the Lord died and was resurrected for everyone to have the opportunity to be an heir of the promise. It did not matter if you were a Jew or Gentile the promise is to everyone who receives Jesus Christ has the Lord, Messiah and Risen Savior.

In the next message we will look at another situation with the first century church and a confrontation with physical Israel of being the True Israel of God and heir of the promise.

The Parable of the Vineyard Husbandmen

Today’s Focus: Spiritual Israel: The Parable of Vineyard Husbandmen

Scripture: Mark 12:1-12; Matthew 23:37; 21:43

Greetings Kingdom Citizens

Throughout the ministry of Jesus Christ we know that the leaders of physical Israel consistently rejected Christ and tried to trap Him. Jesus being a Son understood that this would happen but He maintained His poise through the Father and the Father revealed some stark revelations through His Son to the Jews. Now we have been maintaining that physical Israel was a physical nation carrying the name of God and the seed UNTIL Jesus comes and restores the eternal ways of the Father in the Earth. So let’s look at our first confrontation between the Jews and Spiritual Israel.

In Mark 12:1-12 we have the parable of the husbandmen and the vineyard.

Mark 12:1-2: And He began to speak unto them by parables, A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country. And at the season He sent to the husbandmen a servant, that He might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.

The Lord lays this parable out here and we know that the Lord is speaking in type and shadow so let’s put the reality out there about what the Lord is saying. The certain man is God. The vineyard is Israel. The hedge is the Law of Moses. The tower is the Temple at Jerusalem. The far country is Heaven. The sent servants from God are the prophets. Now with all of this said, insert the realty in the parable and watch the story unfold right before your eyes. The parable continues and it states that the husbandmen would take the sent servants and beat them and sent them away empty with nothing to show. In some cases they even killed the sent servants. We know the servants are the prophets. So what is being said is that the religious leaders of Israel beat and killed the prophets of God that were sent by God to them. Is this true?

Matthew 23:37: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem thou killest the prophets and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Now God continues to send the prophets and now the Father changes and sends His Son and watch this.

Mark 12:6-8: Having yet therefore one son, His wellbeloved, He sent Him also last unto them, saying They will reverence my Son. But those husbandmen said among themselves, THIS IS THE HEIR; COME, LET US KILL HIM AND THE INHERITANCE SHALL BE OURS. And they took him and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

So the Father sends the Son, Jesus into Israel and they beat him and kill him so they can keep the inheritance to themselves. This was the last straw for the Father and watch what happens.

Mark 12:9-10: What shall therefore the Lord of the vineyard (Israel) do? HE WILL COME AND DESTROY THE HUSBANDMEN AND WILL GIVE THE VINEYARD UNTO OTHERS. AND HAVE YE NOT READ THIS SCRIPTURE, THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS (PHYSICAL ISRAEL) REJECTED IS BECOME THE HEAD OF THE CORNER:

So the Father will destroy the husbandmen, the people who deny the Son of God, and give the vineyard to others. Who are the others? The Gentiles. So physical Israel had all of the types and shadows to understand who Jesus is and Jesus demonstrated by the power of the Father that He is the Messiah come to gather the people, not just Israel, but all of mankind. Now watch what Jesus says in the correlating parable recorded by Matthew.

Matthew 21:43: Therefore say I unto you, THE KINGDOM OF GOD SHALL BE TAKEN FROM YOU (PHYSICAL ISRAEL) AND GIVEN TO A NATION (SPIRITUAL ISRAEL) BRINGING FORTH THE FRUITS THEREOF.

So the Kingdom of God WILL NOT BE GIVEN TO PHYSICAL ISRAEL IF THEY DO NOT REVERENCE THE SON OF GOD AND RECEIVE HIS SPIRIT WITHIN THEM. This is a very stern word but the Lord was very clear to them. This is why they wanted to kill him.

In the next message we will look the first century church and see how they had the same conflicts of the Lord Jesus Christ with physical Israel.

Parallels

Scripture: Psalm 80:8; Deuteronomy 6:13, 6:16; 8:3; John 15:1; Exodus 19:5,6

Let us continue looking at these parallels in scripture:

Wilderness Experience:

We know that the children of Israel, after being delivered from the hands of the Egyptians were in the wilderness for 40 years. In the wilderness the devil tempted them. Of course we know they continued to fall into sin at the hands of the tempter through false god worship. Now remember and this is important that they had the Law of Moses during their wilderness trial.

Spiritual Israel, Jesus was led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Hmm, sounds familiar. After the 40 days fast, the Lord was tempted but instead of failing like physical Israel, Spiritual Israel passed all of the tests but this is what is unique about how the Lord passed the tests. Jesus quotes the Word of God to the devil from the very book that was given to the physical children of Israel, Deuteronomy. The scriptures quoted in Matthew 4 are Deuteronomy 8:3; 6:13 and 6:16.

The Vine:

In Psalm 80:8 Israel is called the vine that comes out of Egypt. In John 15:1, Jesus, Spiritual Israel says that He is the true vine

The Seed of Abraham

Isaiah 41:8: But thou, Israel art my servant Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

Galatians 3:16: Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ

Galatians 3:29: And if ye be Christ’s then are ye Abraham’s Seed (Israel) and heirs according to the promise.

After all of these parallels that have been presented in these past messages there is overwhelming truths to the fact that since we are of Christ, then we are the children of Spiritual Israel. We are the chosen people of God because we have accepted the first covenant of promise that was made to Abraham and His seed who is Christ and all that call on the name of the Lord are beneficiaries of that covenant. Remember in Exodus 19:5,6 God said IF YOU OBEY MY VOICE AND KEEP MY COVENANT THEN. So this is a conditional scripture in the sense that if you do not obey His voice and keep His commandments then YOU ARE NOT HIS HOLY NATION OR KINGDOM OF PRIEST. To be an heir of the promise requires one to make Jesus Lord and believe that God has raised Him from the dead and be baptized by the Spirit in the Body of Christ.

We will continue to show the proof that we, as the sons of God, are the true Jews of God and the Spiritual Israel of God.

Fulfillment of Prophecies Part 2

Today’s Focus: We are Israel Part 2: Fulfilling the Prophecies Part 2

Scripture: Exodus 4:22; Hosea 11:1; Matthew 2:15; 1 Corinthians 10:2; Matthew 3:16,17

Let’s continue looking at how these prophecies were fulfilled and how we are the Israel of God.

Exodus from Egypt

After 430 years in Egypt God would deliver His people from the hands of the Egyptians who were oppressing them. The Lord would go on to say this and watch this:

Exodus 4:22: And thou (Moses) shall say unto Pharaoh, Thus said the Lord, ISRAEL IS MY SON, EVEN MY FIRSTBORN: AND I SAY UNTO THEE, LET MY SON GO, THAT HE MAY SERVE ME: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.

Ok, do we see that the Lord refers not just to Jacob but to the nation as Israel and He calls them his son. Now after this through the prophet Hosea the Lord had this to say:

Hosea 11:1: When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called MY SON OUT OF EGYPT.

Now let’s transpose this to the New Testament reality

Matthew 2:15: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet (Hosea), saying, OUT OF EGYPT HAVE I CALLED MY SON (Spiritual Israel).

Wait do we see this picture, Hosea said that the Lord called Israel his son and here we have the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Spiritual Israel being called out of Egypt.

Deliverance Out of Egypt by Baptism

We know that physical Israel was delivered through the Red Sea from the hands of the Egyptians. This was a form of baptism. The scripture says this:

1 Corinthians 10:2: Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud (Glory of God), and all passed through the sea; AND WERE BAPTIZED UNTO MOSES IN THE CLOUD (GLORY OF GOD) AND IN THE SEA.

Now spiritual Israel, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River to fulfill all righteousness. Now watch what is said and what happens.

Matthew 3:16,17: And Jesus (Spiritual Israel), when he was baptized,, went straightway out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto Him and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: And lo a voice from heaven saying: THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED.

So in both these two prophecies and parallels we have the physical nation being called out of Egypt and delivered by the Glory of God and by baptism. As a result we have Spiritual Israel, Jesus Christ being delivered and brought out of Egypt and being baptized at the Jordan and the Glory of God appears and lights upon Him. These have always been here it is time for us to begin thinking like a Holy Nation with a Patriarchal Order by which the nation is built on the relationships between fathers and sons.

We will continue to look at some more parallels in Scripture to prove we are the Israel of God.
