Preparing the Spokesperson

Today’s Topic: A Journey to the Feasts of Israel: Preparing the Spokesperson

Scripture: Exodus 3:7-14

Greetings Kingdom Citizens

Now of course we already, or should know that the children of Israel entered Egypt under their brother Joseph and a Pharaoh that knew Joseph. When a Pharaoh that rose up that did not know Joseph and saw the growth of the Israelites in Egypt, he feared that they would grow so numerous that they would overthrow the Egyptians so Pharaoh charged that every son that is born (of the Jews) should be cast into the river, and every daughter shall be saved. Now we know even in this same river many died, it is this same river that the chosen spokesperson for God was saved, Moses. Now we know Moses murdered an Egyptian and fled into desert. It is here that we want to pick this up and carry it to the Feasts of Israel.

Now at the burning bush where God spoke to Moses, He tells him the He has heard the affliction of His people (Exod. 3:7) and is come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians. Now God also informs Moses that He will send him to Pharaoh. Now like most people when God presents them with their destiny and purpose they question it because of the enormity of the task. Now God re-affirms Moses that He is with him in Exodus 3:12. Now we still have a problem and Moses posed the question to God about the children of Israel and what to say because when he says to them “The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you” and they replied “what is his name”? Why is that even the case? Why wouldn’t they know the God of their fathers? The answer is this generation of Israelites was born in Egypt and after being in bondage for over 400 years and seeing the gods of Egypt for so long you tend to forget who the True and Living God is. So in Exodus 3:14 God gives Moses the answer and He tells him to say that “I AM” hath sent me unto you. God understood they would have a problem understanding so He puts it in a way that they may know who Moses is talking about.

Now we will jump all the way to the encounter and meeting between Moses and Pharaoh. Here Moses and Aaron (Exodus 5) instruct Pharaoh to let God’s people go so that they can hold a feast unto God in the wilderness. Now Pharaoh in his pride and stubbornness said “Who is this Lord that I should obey his voice to let Israel go?” Now Pharaoh represents a shadow and type of Satan. Pharaoh then doubled the burdens and work load of the Israelites because of Moses and Aaron. This was a brutal punishment because the Israelites were given certain materials to make bricks but now they had to go find those materials and make the bricks within the same day and the people were beaten and oppressed harshly. Moses goes to God in Exodus 5:22,23 to ask him why has the reversed basically happened and the people are more oppressed and not delivered. Now God has this all under control and now the stage is set for God to show His power that He is the God of their fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Now as we venture forth in these next messages we will look at God’s response to Pharaoh and we have all heard of it but what was the wrath of God all about with the various wonders God did. I promise you it will open your eyes to the truth behind this entire story. Now going forth I also want to remind you that Satan tries to counterfeit everything God does. In this story you will see Satan attempt to do such a thing but God is all powerful and there will come a time that all of the counterfeit will be exposed and Satan will no longer be able to deceive others to who the true and Living God is. I pray that you continue to study with us, God’s Appointed Feasts. I know we are starting a ways back but it will be well worth the revelation in the upcoming messages.
