The Kingdom Culture and Concept Part 2

House of God

Today’s Topic: The Kingdom Culture of Rule Part 2

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:20; Romans 1:20

Greetings Kingdom Citizens

In our previous message we looked at one concept to rulership where the person in authority seeks benefits for themselves and can careless for the people under their rule. We concluded that this evident in today's church. This is not the type of rulership we want. Today we will discuss the second concept of rulership and the one we do want to model.

Now God in 2 Corinthians 5:20 calls the saints Ambassadors of Christ. That title fits you perfectly but how does this tie to ruling? Here is a great example, a 12 inch stick is called a ruler. It is a standard of measurement. Now if someone told you a peice of wood needs to be 4 feet long and 2 feet wide, how would we know what it looks like? Well we take the ruler and measure it length and width out on the wood and the cut it as drawn by the ruler. Now, what was once thought and invisible is now visible and tangible. Now let's take that and show your the Kingdom concept of rule. God has placed a standard in the Earth. Let me show you this scripture to bring the point home.

Romans 1:20: “For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse”

To understand the eternal which is visible, God has created things that understand Him, His power and His Godhead so that men do not have an excuse not to know about God. The thing in particular God created in the Earth is His sons or His children. Let me explain. The scripture says the invisible things of God are clearly seen and understood by the things that are made. So just like someone gives you the dimensions to a object, the object is invisible until someone takes a ruler or measuring stick with standard measurements and measures that thing out and then once it is measured and cut now the thing that was once invisible is now tangible and touchable. Hence what God did to extend His Kingdom and rulership to the Earth is place His children in the Earth as rulers or vice kings of the Kingdom of God. Now through their relationship with the Father and being discipled into maturity to handle the affairs of the Kingdom in the Earth the children are the standard or the ruler in the Earth. It is through them that the entire creation can see God and understand the things of God. This includes the unbeliever will have no excuse because the reality of who God is and His ways and character is evident and displayed through His children.

Now the question now is what is the reality of God and who is God? We will explore this in the next message.
