The Kingdom Culture and Concept of Rule Part 1

House of God

Today’s Topic: The Kingdom Culture and Concept of Rule Part 1

Scripture: Jeremiah 23:1,2

Greetings Kingdom Citizens

The purpose of the culture of the Kingdom of God is to rule. When we look at rulership carnally then we see rulership as domination and conquest and many times it is who dominates who. Today we will look at one of the two different concepts of rule.

When we see the word rule we think of kings who sit in seats of honor and surrounded by attendants and get all of their needs and desires met. However they do not care about the condition of the people under their rule. Regardless if they are poor or just getting by they are concerned about self first. They are concerned with maintaining power and treading out anybody who seems to threaten that rule. Throughout human history that has been the case, even in the church today! Some pastors, bishops, prophets and other leaders in the church who have people under their rule, they seek their own benefits at the expense of the people under their rule. Could this be the reason why some people see the church as a business for the pastor to prosper only?

Jeremiah 23:1-2:"Woe be unto pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! Saith the Lord. Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold I will visit upon you the evil of your doings saith the Lord."

Now there are various ways the pastors (shepherds) scatter the flock and we will look at a few. First they feed the flock food or bread that leads to death. In other words they present various doctrines such as Prosperity and Inclusion Gospel. When the people intake and accept (eat) these doctrines then they are eating unto death. Hosea 6:4 says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. You have to understand these misguided leaders feed the flock junk food to appease them and then when the flock is so sin sick and the junk messages at one time that appeased them, now does not work. Now these pastors and leaders will continue to prosper while the people are spiritually starving and malnourished and living spiritually in poverty when the Lord has promised they would be prosperous and healthy. When we see an obvious disconnect, discernment will scatter the flock because they who are truly seeking the Truth will leave and on the other hand those who stay will starve to death even though emotionally they think they are on a all-time high.

The first concept of rule is when a ruler, pastor or shepherd uses the authority and power they have to benefit them first and show a lack of care for the people who have been put under their rule. So the well being of these people, spiritually and or emotionally is really of no concern to the one that is put over them to rule and lead.
