Culture of Righteous Rule
Today’s Focus: Confrontations and Righteous Rule
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17-20; Colossians 2:8; Ephesians 6:11; James 3:14-18
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Before the foundation of the world we as the sons of God were predestined to bring God’s rulership to the earth. The Spirit housed in this human form has a predetermined destiny to show the glory of God in the Earth. We know that the glory of God is God’s goodness toward us. His goodness is His presence (Holy Spirit) abiding in us with our spirit and we becoming one with the Father, just like Jesus. We are to put on display the culture of Heaven in the earth so that men will see the divine nature and be changed. When Christ shows through you men will be drawn into the Kingdom by His Spirit. This is the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:17-20) and that is why we are here. We are not here to toil sweat and stress over bread but to put on display the Culture of the Kingdom of Righteous Rule. Now knowing all of this we will encounter the enemy. This is a reality to every son of God.
Conflict is always at the doorpost of the sons of God. Jesus is the perfect example. Now how we deal with that conflict really shows the divine nature that we should possess. One of the things we get caught up in is when dealing with people we must allow the Spirit to discern the situation. Growing up I was the anti-fight child. I did not want to fight. My father would try to teach me some self-defense moves but I knew I would never use them because for one, I really believed I had no friends and it was me against the world. So to fight back in my eyes was futile. I was saved but did not really understand it but then this scripture really brought it home for me about where the fight lies:
Ephesians 6:11: For we wrestle NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places
So the fight is not between me and you or between me and my classmates. The fight was always between God and the devil and when the devil attacks we are to be equipped with protection and a weapon to fight back the enemy. When there is an attack from the enemy we should never fear because we have the love of God that casts out all fear.
James 3:14,15: But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above , but is EARTHLY, SENSUAL (SOULISH), DEVILISH. FOR WHERE ENVYING AND STRIFE IS THERE IS CONFUSION AND EVERY EVIL WORK.
See in the midst of conflict there is a way we as the sons of God should act towards one another and the unbeliever. Because the unbeliever knows not God then envy and strife should be a common reaction but we have a different reaction:
James 3:17-18: But the wisdom that is from above (Heavenly) is first pure (honest), then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
So Blessed are the peacemakers for they are the children of God. Now do not take this meekness for weakness. When it is time to engage the enemy God has given us the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and I will swing the sword every time the enemy gets in the way. We have to be confident of this but the problem is if you do not know or have a relationship with the Word of God then how can you use an instrument or weapon that you have not practiced or understood its use. The Lord said this to me and it was unique but very true:
“When we do not handle the Word of God properly we will swing the sword and hit any and everybody who threatens us.”
We do not swing the sword to hit any and everybody, we use the Word of God as the Spirit leads us. When used properly it convicts, makes free, restores, comforts and corrects the unbeliever and the sons of God. Moreover we need to be careful of people who use the word of God in improper manners. Paul said this to Colosse:
Colossians 2:8: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Our rulership, dominion is steeped in righteousness and submission. We as the sons of God are to bring the rulership of God by displaying the culture of Heaven in Earth. We have no power of our own to do this. God has given us governmental gifts to bring the rulership and mature others so that they themselves can disciple and mature others in the ways of the Father. We as the sons of God are not about taking over the old but ushering the new like our brother Jesus Christ. We put on display the new life in the Spirit. The Kingdom of God is an everlasting Kingdom and will be the last Kingdom for ever. Every other kingdom will die so I urge you today to get under the rulership of the King, learn of your identity and how you are to bring the culture of righteous rule to the Earth.
Peace, Love and Grace from the Father,
