Kingdom Assignment Pt 3

The Good News (Gospel) According to Luke
Today’s Focus: Kingdom Assignments pt 3 – An Earthly Assignment in Action
Scripture: Luke 3:1-23; Matthew 3:1-3

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now we see John is grown up and doing exactly as God had foretold to His parents. Here John is preaching the baptism of the remission of sins. Now the question is what is the baptism of the remission of sins??? Now turn to Matthew 3:2 because here is the revelation! This scripture tells you what John was preaching: Repent, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. John tells the people that the way of the Lord is straight. In other words, all of the crooked ways we have been living will be changed by the introduction of the King and the Kingdom. The King is coming to set every crooked way straight and show us how. There will be no more excuses because we will now have conviction (Holy Spirit) and the Spirit of God living in us and guiding us in all truth.

Now here is a thought, whenever royalty enters an area, before royalty enters, a messenger is sent before them and say something to the sort “Hear ye, hear ye here comes the King”. Now, what do you call this: “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand, make the way of the Lord straight”. So, John was the messenger sent to introduce the King to His people. This was John’s assignment of Earth. This is why he was called the greatest of the prophets. John was the one who baptized Jesus and if you remember, John did not think He was worthy to baptize Jesus. But, Jesus said it must be so to righteousness. What a privilege, to actually baptize Jesus Himself. So in order to see the power of God, we must put His assignment for our lives in action and not just words. The Kingdom of Gos is not in words, but in power. If you do not know your assignment ask God so you can get started today and see the power of the Kingdom at work in your life.

Kingdom Assignment Pt 2

The Good News (Gospel) According to Luke
Today’s Focus: Understanding Kingdom Assignment pt 2 – The Assignment of John Foretold
Scripture: Luke 1:15-17; Luke 1:76-80

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
The assignment of John was a royal and divine assignment and if you understand how Kingdom’s work then you will begin to appreciate and understand his assignment and why it was so important. Let’s look at the foretold assignment of John and bring to light the importance of John.

Verses 16-17 – The Message Repentance
John will introduce the message and importance of repentance. In this verse we see that John is called to “turn” the people to the Lord. The word turn is not a physical turn, but a spiritual turn and change of the mind.

Verse 17 – Introduction of the Lord
John was the greatest prophet because of all the prophets, John got to introduce and touch the message that all of the former prophets spoke about. From Genesis 3:15 to the coming of Christ on Earth, all of the prophets could only speak of the Messiah, but John got the privilege to introduce the King to His people.

Verses 77-80 – Introduction of the Knowledge of Salvation
John is called to prepare the way of the Lord by giving them the knowledge of salvation through the remission of sins. And he explains to them how in verse 78, by the coming of Christ. Now here is where it gets good. He is called to give light, which is knowledge, to those who sit in darkness, which is ignorance. And those who sit in darkness are in the shadow of death.

Now here is the funny thing about all that John was called to do, it is the very message and calling all of us have been called to do. Preach a message of repentance to the Kingdom mindset, prepare the way for the return of Christ, and give knowledge to those who sit in darkness. Are we doing the basic assignment given to us by our Father or are we trying to save ourselves and not worry about others. Please remember in preparing for the return of Christ, we as the Ambassadors do not know when He will return but He has told us to be prepared. So our assignment was also foretold before the foundation of the world, but it is our choice to accept it and live or reject it and move from under God’s covering grace. Your assignment will keep you alive longer.

Kingdom Assignment Pt 1

The Good News (Gospel) According to Luke
Today’s Focus: The Power in Understanding Kingdom Assignment part 1
Scripture: Luke 1

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In this first installment of the Gospel According to Luke we will look at the power in understanding Kingdom Assignment. Now all of us have an assignment to fulfill because it was predestined before the beginning of the world for us. Now we look all through the Gospels according to Matthew and Mark at the Assignment of Jesus. We are going to look at the assignment of the greatest of all the prophets, John and show how Kingdom Assignment works and why it is important for us to know our assignment and fulfill it. The entire chapter of Luke 1 is the revelation of the assignments of John and Jesus to Zacharias and Mary, respectively. Now God sends, Gabriel (an angel) to speak to them and reveal to them the significance of these children. Now of course we get two different reactions from them. Zacharias started analyzing and questioning the angel about what he was saying and the angel, through the power of God, caused Zacharias to be dumb and not speak until all had been revealed and performed. Why? Verse 20, it was because of his unbelief, or lack of faith in what the angel was saying. See, this was so important that this is done so, God had to shut Zacharias up so that he does not go out there questioning what God was going to do.

Now when we look at Mary’s response, she asked the angel how can a baby be born from me and I have not been with a man. Now Gabriel explains to her how and then Mary says let it be so unto me according to thy word. Just Mary’s response shows how highly favored she was to God. Unlike Zacharias, she asked how and once the answer came she accepted it!

In this introduction, we see two different reactions to God revealing His assignments for Jesus and John. At some point in your life, God has revealed your assignment and you took one of the two routes, you either questioned it and passed it by, or you accepted it and decided to follow the Lord’s plan for your life. In the next couple of messages we will look at the life of John the Baptist to see how Kingdom Assignments work. It is our prayer that you get into your assignments and realize the beautiful rewards of a Kingdom-purposed and driven life.

Resurrection Commission to the Saints

The Good News (Gospel) According to Mark
Today’s Focus: Resurrection Commission to the Saints
Scripture: Mark 16:15-18

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In this final installment of the Gospel According to Mark we see the great commission to the disciples. Let’s see what Christ asked us to do and the signs that follow those who believe.

1. Preach the Gospel to Every Creature
So the Gospel of the Kingdom should be preached to every creature and nation. We reviewed this in Matthew 24:14 what the Gospel is according to Jesus. So this is what the disciples are called to do. You as a disciple should be declaring the Kingdom of God. You do not need a pulpit to do so according to Jesus because He charged all the disciples to go out and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom. But I know and Jesus know all of you will not do it. Remember, we will all be held personally accountable for the standards we set and how we ruled on Earth.

2. Salvation
Confessing the Lord Jesus and believing that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9) then you shall be saved. Then being baptized with the Holy Ghost. This is God’s plan of salvation for those who believe to save His children from eternal damnation. Very simple and I pray that for those of you who have not had your rights restored, I pray you give your life to the Lord and come into who you are, A King, A Priest, An Ambassador and most of all a son of God.

3. Power and Authority Given Back to the Saints
Now this is the part that we should get excited about. These are the signs of those who believe in Christ, the Son of the Living God. In the name of Jesus, they shall be able to cast out devils. In the name of Jesus, they shall speak with new tongues. In the name of Jesus they shall not be poisoned by what they drink or any deadly thing. And finally, in the name of Jesus they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Now, Jesus is clearly saying, in His name shall these be the signs of those who truly believe in Him and be a witness unto Him and the power He has. What signs are you showing, those of Christ or those of satan?

Negativity Not Wanted

The Good News (Gospel) According to Mark
Today’s Focus: Negativity Not Wanted!
Scripture: Mark 5:35-43

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now this might be the best illustration and advice for anyone that is going through anything that is troubling, regardless if it is physical or spiritual. Let’s get right into the story and watch this blessing for your life unfold.

A ruler comes to Jesus and tells Him that his daughter is dead. Now look at Jesus response. He said: Be not afraid, just believe. Now Jesus is dealing directly with the father. Now Jesus takes Peter, James and John with Him to the house, with the father. Now when Jesus get’s there He sees all these people weeping and wailing. Now Jesus says something profound. He says the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. Now this goes against what their natural eyes see. Now look at their response to Jesus, they laughed him to scorn. Then Jesus put them out and took the father and the mother in with him where the damsel is lying. Jesus calls the damsel to rise and immediately the damsel arose and walked and then Jesus charged them that they should tell no man what happened. Get ready for the blessing!

When you are going through your trail and tribulation and people all around you are speaking doom and gloom on your life. It is time to kick them out and go with the King right through the problem and be victorious. See, Jesus only wanted people who believed to see the miracle because they believed in the power the Lord possessed. But for those who do not believe, it is not for their eyes to see. Now of course when the young girl came out after Jesus left the people were astonished and probably asked how? And I can only imagine the mother and father saying, we had an encounter with the Lord, Glory Hallelujah. See when you come out the only thing you can say is, it was the Lord. See your faith will cause you to get rid of those negative people and put your trust in the person who can deliver you, Jesus. Now of course the Lord will send people to encourage us, but you have to get rid of those negative people because, their unbelief may try to sway your faith and have you believing there is no way out. Have an encounter with the Lord and I promise you, you will never ever forget it and want to continue to have a relationship with your Big Brother, Jesus, the Father, God Almighty and the Governor of the Kingdom, the Holy Spirit. Now I rather have them on my side and seeing me through than these nay-sayers around me in my time of trouble.

A True Source of Healing

The Good News (Gospel) According to Mark
Today’s Focus: A True Source of Healing
Scripture: Mark 5:25-34

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know we have heard of this story many times but this very story is being played out everyday on Earth. In the United States, the cost of healthcare is skyrocketing. People are choosing whether to eat or pay for their medicines. Going to the doctor is so expensive and the insurance companies are not paying for the specialist you need to see about your problem and even if you get to see them, there is no guarantee that they will find a cure or even find the problem, but I can I suggest another doctor who has never failed a patient.

Look at this story and read it very carefully and you will see today’s situation. First, the woman had an issue of blood twelve years. She had suffered many things of the physicians (sound familiar?) and had spent all she had (sound familiar?) and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse (sound familiar?). OH but when she heard of Jesus, she came and pressed behind through the crowd and touched his garment.

Now let’s not get what the woman says confused with the result. She said “If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be made whole. Now it was not the physical touching of His clothing that made her whole, it was her faith. Ok, here is a beautiful illustration of this. If you are sick right now, how can you touch Jesus clothing and be made whole?? Right, you can’t right now, but your faith gives you access to the Kingdom Healthplan and the Doctor that is always on-call, Jesus. I know we have heard many sermons on this but do not be unrealistic, it was the faith of the woman that made her whole. Read Jesus response in verse 34. So for all of you that are sick or dealing with an illness, I speak life over you and tell you to keep the faith and believe you are already healed and wait for your Kingdom health plan to be manifested in your physical body. Be Blessed!

Parables

The Good News (Gospel) According to Mark
Today’s Focus: The Purpose of the Parables – A Key Source of Kingdom Witnessing
Scripture: Mark 4:10-12; Mark 4:33,34

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know we touched on this some in Matthew but like many scriptures God can show you many messages in one set of scriptures and this is one of those occasions. When we read the scripture, the disciples are asking Jesus about the parable and why He spoke in parables. Now if you want to be an effective witness of the Kingdom, you have to be able to relate real life situations to Kingdom principals. This is why Jesus use parables of agriculture, ceremonies and cultural customs to explain to the multitudes Kingdom principals and how they function on Earth. Now look at verse 11 because here is why we need to be able to explain the Kingdom in laymen terms for the multitudes. Quote Jesus:

Unto you (believer) it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables.

Now are you going to remember all the parables of Jesus, maybe not. But it is important to be in a position to hear God and allow Him to use your body to explain to the multitudes how the Kingdom works. He may not use a parable from the Bible, God is great at using what is current to show what has always been. I hope you understand but this is what witnessing is all about. To be able to speak in a language that all can understand. Now it is clear to Jesus, to the multitudes that the revelation of the mysteries are given to the believer of the Kingdom. Have you received revelation? See this depends on you! If you read verse 12 you see these words: lest at any time THEY should be converted… So, the conversion hinges on you. It has to be in your heart and in your mind to want to be healed and to want to be set free from the slavery of sin and to want to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. Do not think that you can just walk through life just being a sinner saved by grace. As times get hard, much more will be required and it will become harder to keep the faith and stay strong if you have not already started.

A Call for the Great Physician

The Good News (Gospel) According to Mark
Today’s Focus: A Call for The Great Physician
Scripture: Mark 2:16,17

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In our first installment of the Gospel According to Mark we will be looking at Jesus and the disciples fellowshipping with sinners and publicans. Now the Pharisees and the Sadducees we have come to understand that they are just there to try to catch Jesus and try to get Him killed but what they do not know as long as Jesus was in His assignment and doing the things the Father required then His life was protected. Now, we have to understand the work of the Kingdom does not happen inside of the four walled church as we know it. That is a time for us to worship, fellowship and learn about the Word of God and Father Himself. The real work is on the outside of those walls, because if we live what we are taught in the four-walled church (proving it is sound doctrine) then the Spirit of God will draw the lost into the church. Now, why would Jesus fellowship with the publicans and the sinners?

Sin, is a spiritual disease. Funny it is like a rheumatic disease and what that is, is when the body attacks the body. Sounds crazy but that is what sin is. When we sin against God, because we are in His image and His likeness, then we sin against ourselves! Now that is a thought. My wife has a wonderful phrase:

For everything you do in the natural world, there is a spiritual consequence!

So, when we make decisions without sound counsel then we have to live with those consequences. When mankind sinned against God in the garden, mankind hurt themselves because they lost the Dominion the Father gave them over the planet. So, Jesus came to show us what we lost and how to revive our spirit which was condemned to hell by sin. This is what makes Jesus statement that powerful. He said, He called sinners, to repentance, not the righteous. So if you think you are all righteous, this is not for you, but I am glad He called me a sinner because that is what I was and He healed me of that temporary, terminal and spiritual disease. Now we have to continue daily to take our medicine (The Word of God) and see our physician daily for treatment (Forgiveness) to keep us spiritually healthy and vibrant.

I pray that if you are living the sinful-filled life and you want out, come and talk to our doctor and physician, who guarantees and full recovery and a cure. His name is Jesus. All you have to do is have a heart and a desire to live the Kingdom life and your health plan kicks in automatically and does not take a premium or deductible or have to wait for the next year for coverage. The Kingdom Health Care plan happens automatically. It is your choice!

The Resurrection of Christ and Restoration of the Kingdom on Earth

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Resurrection of Christ and Restoration of the Kingdom on Earth
Scripture: Matthew 28

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In this final installment of looking at Jesus though the Gospel According to Matthew. After the resurrection of Christ, Jesus meets up with the disciples and give them very clear instructions. He shows them the marks in His hands and feet and in his side and told them that: All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth!. Now He tells the disciples to teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. He also tells them to observe ALL things He commanded and comforted them by letting them know He would be with them always, even unto the end of the Earth. Now from here we could go to the book of Acts but let’s quickly review some critical points in the life of Jesus!

1. Introduction of the King and the Kingdom to Earth (Matthew 3)
2. God’s Primary Priority for Our Lives (Matthew 6)
3. Preach the True Gospel of the Kingdom (Matthew 10)
4. Foundation of the Church and the Keys of the Kingdom (Matthew 16)
5. Always Be Ready for the Return of the King (Matthew 24)
6. Restoration of the Sons of God (Matthew 28)

I would like to thank God for showing me what He has showed me and I know there is so much more and with God, He can come up with many more messages from the same scriptures. We have done 112 different messages just from Matthew about Jesus and that I know is not even a grain of salt’s worth of what is there, but it is a start. I pray that this series has been revealing and has given someone who does not know our Lord and Savior a glimpse into the truth about Him and what He came to Earth to do. May God Bless not only the readers of His Word but the Doers!!

Understanding the Truth and the Result of Calvary

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Understanding the Truth and Result of Calvary
Scripture: Matthew 27:33-58

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now I have stood on the fact that Calvary was a means to an end and not the goal of Christ, because Jesus said on many occasions that the goal was to baptize you in the Holy Ghost. So the death of Jesus on the cross brought an end to one thing and restored a Kingdom of Kings and Priests. Let’s look at what the meaning of

End of Eternal Death, as Judgment of Sin, over the Child of God
When Christ died on the cross His blood paid the price that was required to wash us clean from the sin that we caused way back in the Garden and of course subsequent actions also. Before Jesus all who had died were condemned to an eternal hell and death. But because of the love of God for us and the life Jesus lived, it was the perfect sacrifice for the sin of the world to end the reign of death on the children and give them the opportunity at life.

Restoration of Relationship with Abba
Now this restoration can only happen after the blood was shed on Calvary because the blood washes us clean for what gives us the restoration. The Holy Spirit abiding in us. See once you have received the Holy Spirit now you have the connection back with the Father. Now you can have an intimate relationship and not a religion with Abba. This is what God desires! Who worships their earthly fathers??? So God wants a relationship with you and God appreciates you telling Him who He is and what He does. He knows all of that, but through the relationship His Will for your life and for the children can flow from Heaven to Earth.

Restoration of Sonship
While you were without the Holy Spirit, you did not have the connection back to the Father in Heaven. When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden, God’s children officially walked away from Him to live in the world and do as they pleased. But when they realized the intimate relationship with God was missing, mankind created all these religions in an attempt to find God. Now, after fullness of time, God comes down in a man (Jesus) and shows His children what they have been looking for and how to live in the Kingdom. So once these children believe in the Lord Jesus and believe that God has raised Him from the dead, then they are restored as sons of God and in the image and likeness of Him that created them. Once you get a chance, Look at the story of the Prodigal Son! That is the perfect parable to this section. You are not a slave but a son!!!

Salvation and the Resurrection
Without the blood of Christ, salvation cannot happen and the resurrection would not happen. So it is important that you understand that the blood is the first part of salvation, the second part is the restoration of the Holy Spirit in mankind. Salvation happens instantly for the believer and for those who believe they shall be resurrected in immortality on that great resurrection day.

So, in closing, Calvary is a means to an end but the goal based on everything you have just read is God restoring the Holy Spirit back in mankind. We have made movies on the cross and sad to say, many Christians do not know what Calvary paid for. See now that you know, you should have a little more pep in your step and hold your head a little more high. There is so much more we can discuss about Calvary. But remember this is not the message, but important to understand what it truly means to the believer. Remember, the lost do not care about the cross, but if you can show them what the cross paid for then they will come before the Lord and be restored.

The Truth About the Trial of Jesus

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Truth About the Trial of Jesus
Scripture: Matthew 27; Luke 23; John 18:28–John 19:16

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now this is a lot of scriptures to read but it is important to read about the trial of Jesus. Many said Jesus said nothing and that is not true. That is why we must read it very carefully because there was the confrontation between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of this world, namely the Roman Empire. And believe me and I will show it to you, the Kingdom of God prevailed of course, so much that the Roman Empire wanted to let Jesus go. So before you go crazy let’s look at some scripture to prove this point.

First, we know Jesus did no wrong, but he was a threat to the religious leaders of the time (Pharisees and Sadducees). In addition, He was a perceived threat to the Roman government because the people were proclaiming Him to be a King and there was only one ruler in the Roman Empire and that was Caesar. So saying that you are a king in the Roman Empire lends itself to possible capital punishment. Now, since Pontius Pilate is governor of this area of the empire and since it happened in his area, Jesus was brought before him so they can put him on trial. Now before Pilate even ask a question of Jesus, Pilate asks the chief priest, what are you accusing this man of? They said Jesus was perverting the nation, failing to pay taxes and calling himself Christ a King. Now, first all of this is a lie! And here is the proof, Jesus was spreading the truth about the Gospel of the Kingdom and used the law to show how the Kingdom works and how to apply it. Second, Jesus did pay taxes because when asked Jesus told Peter to go down to the river and fish, take the first fish and pay all of our taxes. Finally, Jesus only revealed to His disciples that He was Jesus the Christ and told them to tell no one! Now this is funny, Pilate not wanting to deal with it, he tells them to judge him according to your (Jewish) law. Now we have a problem because according to Jewish law, Jesus has done nothing to warrant death by the Jews. Now Pilate must be getting frustrated so he goes and speaks to Jesus himself. Now when Jesus get’s before Pilate, Pilate asks Him, “Art thou the King of the Jews?” and Jesus replied, “Thou sayest”. And Pilate then asked “Am I a Jew? Because your own nation delivered you to me.” Now, Jesus speaks and watch what He says in John 18:36:

My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now is my kingdom not from hence

Now Pilate asks Him another question and Jesus answers and went back into the hall and declared he found no fault in him. And then the Pharisees told them about where he was preaching this message and realized that it went into Herod’s jurisdiction. So to pass the buck off of him, he sends Jesus to Herod. Now Herod being curious, because of everything he had heard of Jesus, wanted to see some tricks from Jesus and he asked him some questions and Jesus did not answer him nor perform any miracles for Herod. So Herod mocked Him and put a robe on Him and sent Him back to Pilate. Now when Pilate comes before the people and Jesus he said that he still found no fault in this man, nor did Herod, so Pilate tried to let Jesus go. And because of law, Pilate had to let a prisoner go at the feast. Now the people cried out to release Barabbas and they cried out to crucify Jesus. Then the physical persecution of Jesus happens in John 19 and when the Pharisees said that He made Himself the Son of God before Pilate, Pilate became very much afraid because of the previous encounter with Jesus and what was said. Now Pilate goes in the judgment hall again and said something very remarkable that no one should ever utter to Jesus: He said in John 19:10: knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee. And look at the answer of Jesus: Thou couldest have no power at all against me except it were given thee from above; therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. And after Jesus said that, Pilate tried to let Jesus go. But because of the pressure of the people and the fear of what Caesar would do to him he continued to let the people crucify Christ.

There is a lot to get out of this encounter with Jesus and Pilate and let me point out two significant ones:

1. The servants that would fight for Jesus are the Angels. They are the Army of the Lord. Not the church. Remember Peter tried to fight for Jesus to prevent His capture and Jesus told Peter to put up the sword because He could have called 10 legions of Angels. So, the Army of the Lord are the Angels and they are sent to fight and protect the citizens of the Kingdom
2. The only person that has power over you is God Himself! He delegates the power down to our leaders and parents but as it relates to being your source and the person you depend on for your very existence then it is God only!!! Do not let people ruin your day because they do not have the power to do so unless you give it to them.

The Great Betrayal and Denial of Jesus

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Great Betrayal and Denial of Jesus
Scripture: Matthew 26:30-75

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
During this time Jesus has foretold his betrayal and His denial. Now Jesus had warned Peter that he was going to deny Him 3 times and then the cock would crow. Now like the ambitious disciple He was, he told Jesus that He would not of course, but Jesus knew He would. The very disciple that tried to fight for Him and called Him the Christ, the Son of the Living God, is going to deny Him in front of the people. This was a sorrowful time for Jesus. He prayed to the Father to pass this cup (persecution and death), BUT if not let thy (The Father’s) Will be done. So even in his sorrowful time He asked the Father to pass this from Him but if it is not in the Will of the Father, he will go forth. So, the whole Hollywood picture and portrayal of the mission of Jesus to die on the cross is a lie. His mission, once again, is to get the Holy Ghost back in you, his death was a means to an end, but He had to be risen from the dead in order to give us the Breath of Life again.

See it is one thing to say you are a follower of Christ, but it is another thing to show people you are a follower. See, Peter was scared to accept Him because of the fear that the people would bring him up before the court and/or kill him. So as Jesus foretold when Peter denied Him three times, the cock crowed and Peter remembered what Jesus said and went away sorrowful. We deny Jesus when we act like the world and/or when we are asked to take a stand on an issue, we back down because we are scared of what people think or what they may do. We deny Jesus when we do that. We betray Jesus when we take people for their money and or/sell Jesus for our own profit and gain. Not even to advance the Kingdom but to get money. We become no better than Judas. This is a sad situation and it happens in the body of Christ so much to a point it is hard to see the real true citizens of the Kingdom from the one’s that are giving lip service. In other words, the difference between the boat-talkers and the water-walkers (Go read the story of Peter and Jesus on the Water for clarification). Our lives are a determination of whether we are lifting up the name of Jesus, more than our words. Our actions are a determination of whether we are truly His and not a slave to satan. Being a citizen of the Kingdom is not just some title but it is a lifestyle and life that has many more benefits and rewards. Like all things it has it problems but the good thing is that the King has personally seen that every problem that we encounter we know we can overcome through the power He gives us through the Holy Ghost. So let’s not betray or deny Jesus, Our King and Big Brother. He did not deny us when He went to the cross and paid the price for the sins we committed, so we should not deny nor betray Him by preventing those who want to enter the Kingdom by the way we live.

The Last Supper

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Fulfillment of the Assignment of Jesus: The Last Supper
Scripture: Matthew 26:1-29; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know many of us take communion and attend communion services in our various churches. The Last Supper is what it is naturally, the last supper of Jesus with the disciples but the spiritual meaning is the understanding of the communion of the Spirit of Christ with the believer. Now at the last supper, Christ informs his disciples that He will be betrayed by one of them. Now you know everyone is questioning Jesus whether it is them. Now you know if it was you, then your conscience will eat at you and can you imagine the conscience of Judas knowing it was him? Please keep in mind, if Judas who was a disciple of Christ, is willing to betray Him for 30 pieces of silver then do you think that some of the people who call themselves your friends will betray you? Amazing, Jesus knew from the beginning that the very ones who he would appoint to be his students, one of them would betray Him. Word to the wise, do not put all your trust in man and those who claim to be your friends because when they betray you or let you down then you are left hurt and wondering what happened.

Now let’s look at the significance of the Lord’s Last supper with the disciples.

The Bread
Starting at verse 26, we see Jesus blessing the bread, braking it and giving it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is my body”. What this symbolized is the communion of the Spirit of Christ with the believers. Now watch this beautiful scriptural picture. Jesus calls Himself:
1. The Bread of Life – Jesus said this in John 6:35 and when He was tempted of satan in Matthew 4:4, He told satan that Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. So the food for our spirit is the Word of God and the Word of God is the Bread of Life.

2. The Light of the World – In Hebrew light means knowledge. So Jesus then is the Knowledge the World needs. John 1:1 says “In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God”. The key here is The Word was with God. Now move to John 1:14 where it says “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth”. Now that was a lot but Jesus is all of that. He is the Word of God that we need to ingest in our spirit to feed our souls so that we can stay spiritually healthy.

So when Jesus gave them the bread to eat it was the symbolic meaning of the communion of Christ with the believer and providing the believer with the Word of God to feed them. Now some of you have the Word of God in you but yet you are still spiritually hungry and malnourished. See the old saying is “You can take a thirsty horse to a well, but you can’t make him drink” (I think J) . So even though you have the Word in you, it is on you to partake of the knowledge of God and hear His voice and execute His Will.

The Cup
Now upon my study, I did not see what Jesus drank that night in the cup. The only reference I see is that he says He will not drink the fruit of this vine. Could it be grape juice? I do not know, nor is it important. But whatever he drank it symbolized the blood that He will shed for the remission of our sins. Remember the blood is what cleanses us so that we can receive the Holy Ghost.

Now here is where it can get dicey but you have to read the scripture to truly understand it. Now, the Lord’s supper should only be taken by the believer. Ok! Let’s go to 1 Corinthians 11:26-29, the Holy Spirit reveals to Paul that “anyone who shall eat this bread or drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord”. Now if you read further he uses the word damnation. Now, I am not the one saying this but based off of the scriptures no one who is not saved should take the Lord’s supper, this is not Calvin saying it, but this is the words of the Holy Spirit given to Paul to write to the church at Corinth.

Pastors, Bishops and called Leaders of the Church it is our responsibility to ensure the appropriate people are taking the Lord’s Supper. We are called to be watchmen and we need to make sure we are watching out for the souls of our flock and those inquiring to join the family. Let’s be aware and ensure that the appropriate people are participating in the Lord’s supper!

A Call to Service and Charity

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: A Warning and Call to Service and Charity
Scripture: Matthew 25:45

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know this is not “Christmas season”. But we as Kingdom Servant Leaders have been called to serve not just the poor in spirit but the poor in general. When you look at your life and then go downtown and or around your own neighborhood and you see those less fortunate, you should really not only thank God but ask Him what can I do to help. See we were broke busted and poor until the King came to Earth and gave us knowledge and the opportunity to enter back into the Kingdom and receive our rights as sons of God. Now when you read this scripture and your soul loves God, I pray that you realize what Jesus is saying about how we treat people, especially those who are not saved and those who may be poor.

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.

That is a heavy scripture and statement. Did you know God has called ministries to assist the poor in the various countries and they need not just our things, but they need to here the Good News of the Gospel of the Kingdom. See money, food and clothes are all well and good, but if no one is teaching how those necessities are met then they will find it much harder to see themselves in a new light. We will always have to poor with us, but because we are Kingdom Servant Leaders then we are there to extend a hand and help our brothers and sisters in need.

This is why I..must be careful how I say this…I have come to dislike most of the aspect of the holiday we call Christmas. Christmas has become so commercialized and the one and only season that there is a somewhat focus on giving to the poor. Now, do not get me wrong, we should celebrate the introduction of the King to the Earth and His assignment to help give us the Holy Spirit again. But religion has made this to be the “season of giving”. Follow me! What would happen if only God gave to us in one season out of the entire year and the rest of the year He did not think to really help us? Well based off of the above scripture we do this to Jesus. See, it did not matter what the need of the people was, He was there to assist them and help them, even at 3am in the morning, Ask Nicodemus, one of the chief Pharisees J. There many citizens out there and God bless you, who have committed their lives to helping the poor, but we as a Kingdom should be doing this all the time, regardless of the season. Did you know, giving is a key of the Kingdom? It is not just a group of people that have been called to serve the poor but it is all of those who claim to be a son of God, a King and a Priest.

The Shepherd and the Voice

Today’s Focus: The Shepherd and the Voice!
Scripture: Matthew 25:31-34

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In this segment we are going to look at our Big Brother, Lord and Savior Jesus. We are going to look at the two-way communication between the Kingdom of God in Heaven and the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.
1. Your Body is Your Legal House
2. Know Your Shepherd’s Voice

Your Body is Your Legal House! – Romans 12:1,2
Without your body, you are illegal on Earth. Sounds simple but a very important principal to remember. So, the first thing you need to do in order to be in order with the Kingdom of God is get your “house” in order and under control. Okay! In other words get your flesh under control. That is why the scripture above from Romans is so important. It is the only way you will be able to truly hear God and know what is His Will. So, since you are a King you rule your body then! You control not only your hands and feet, you control your genitals also. Now before I go any further, this is real talk and we all are able to understand what is being said. If someone is offering or tempting you to have sex with them and you are not married, tell them this: “I can’t because I am a King!” Now, they are going to look stupid but answer the next question after they say “what” like this: I control my panties and my draws. Now some of you may be laughing but I am serious! If a old boyfriend, girlfriend, ex-husband or ex-wife tries to get you to have sex, you know your answer now! The Bible says present your body as a living sacrifice and the only way to do that is to get the flesh under control. This message is not just for the young people but also for the adults also J. Get Your House in Order and Under Control!
Know Your Shepherd’s Voice –Matthew 25:31-32
The only way you will not be fooled and follow the antichrist with satan to hell is that you know your shepherd’s voice. When we look at the scripture in verse 31, it discusses when Jesus comes back with all the angels and sit on His throne. What a sight! Jesus continues to call himself the Son of Man here because He is on Earth and remember you are not legal on Earth without a body. Now verse 32, it says he will gather all the nations and separate them one from another like a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. I love Jesus and His parables and analogies. Please follow. In Israel when the shepherds take the sheep and the goats out to graze and then they bring them back in and then they have to separate them into their separate holding pen. You would think that they would just pick them up and put them in but that would take forever. What the shepherd does is make a sound and go into the pen that would hold the sheep. Sheep follow sound but goats do not! You have to drive goats! So the shepherd of the sheep makes a specific sound for that group and they stop what they are doing and follow the sound. Hallelujah! In these last days you better know your shepherd’s voice. Do not be a goat like many around us are!

In order to execute your Dominion Leadership you must be able to communicate with the Government and you must be able to hear the commands from the Government. There is no way you can be an effective king and rule like God if you do not know what God wants you to do. I pray that this series continue to touch you and at least made you look at yourself and ask, Am I Dominating the Earth? Or Is the Earth Dominating Me?

The Truth About the End

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Truth About the End
Scripture: Matthew 24

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now the reason I am covering an entire chapter in one message because you need to read it for yourself and know the truth and the end. So many people are saying we are in the end times and this is the end but I beg to differ based off of the scriptures. Look at verse 5 through 8. All of these things are happening and some have already happened. Now look at verse 8 and what Jesus says this time is: The Beginning of Sorrows. Now as you read on you then see all of these things that must come to past but my favorite verse in this passage and our ministry’s mission statement is in verse 14: And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. So until the gospel of the Kingdom is preached unto every nation then Jesus is not coming back. So what have we been preaching for the past 50 years, let alone 1800 years? The scriptures also talk about the false christs and the signs that tell you the end is here. This whole passage is a very revealing set of scriptures from Jesus and I urge every citizen to read and know the signs because in these times the deception will be so strong that if it were possible the very elect would be deceived.

Know the truth about the end from Jesus and do not listen to these street corner people and all these philosophers because based off of verse 36 Jesus says NO MAN, not even the angels know the time when Jesus is coming back, only the Father. So citizens, based off of this statement we must be always and ever ready for the return of Christ. Here is a thought. The first time Jesus came, His coming was declared by the prophets and announced and introduced on Earth, by John the Baptist. Now in His return, He is coming like a thief. No MAN NOR THE ANGELS know when He will return, but we best be ready!

Corruption pt 6

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Religious Leaders and Their Corruption: Part 6
Scripture: Matthew 23:23-28

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now hear Jesus is dealing with the Pharisees and the Scribes about what matters more and how they are oppressing the people.

Do They Even Care?
The religious leaders who are leading some of these mega-ministries and some smaller ministries and churches are putting the burden on the people. They misuse the scripture give to God and He will give to you. And they take your money, you see them get a new car every other month, a million dollar house, do I need to go further. So you see them prospering but for some reason you are still not prospering, you are still spiritually and some naturally, broke, busted and poor. What is wrong with this picture? They put the burden on you to give but they do not render what matters most, faith, mercy and judgment. Funny these are the things you cannot naturally see because they are spiritual. Now do not get me wrong there is nothing wrong with having the nice things of life because God wants His children to look nice but He does not want those things to be the goal of the people they are serving. You will know them by their fruits.

Instead of constantly pressuring the people to give, give and give why not teach the people how to have faith and have mercy on others. Why do the religious people not have mercy on the flock. They oppress with their prosperity gospel and charismatic nature and never teach the people the fundamentals of true Kingdom living. Sad, because they do not know and so they punish the people with false doctrine, trying to give them hope when all they have to do is switch Kingdoms.

But yet every Sunday they stand up there hooping and hollering never caring that you did not receive the message nor hear anything about the kingdom of God. So you just wasted 2 hours of your life hearing something that will not help you once you leave. Yeah, you are on an emotional high, but your spirit is still starving. I can tell you once you taste of the true good news of the Kingdom, you will not want anything else. I am telling you that and I know a lot of other Kingdom preachers who will tell you. When I go to other services or hear other’s preach, my spirit is searching for the Kingdom. I always want to go into service and leave differently knowing I learned something I can apply what I heard now and not in the sweet by-and-by. See God is taking me through this because He dislikes what these people are doing, I dislike it and it is time to unveil the deception that is plaguing the people of God.

The Living Dead
These people are looking good, sounding good but on the inside they are dry and dead as it comes to the Kingdom of God. We have to be careful who we listen to and who we entertain. When God gives you a program to carry out, you do not need no super famous preacher and definitely no super famous musician or artist. But we want to draw a crowd. This is what the Pharisees and the Sadducees did. They garnished themselves in clothing and preached from the law of Moses but yet the Messiah is standing in front of them and they are completely blind spiritually and they are the religious leaders? Trust me citizens, there are some blind Pharisees out there today and thousands are following them because they sound good and can draw a crowd. But I heard Jesus say, If I be lifted up from the Earth, I (Jesus) will draw all men unto me. So the drawing is from God and not from some super famous person. Do not be the living dead like these people. Come into the Kingdom of God and explore and experience life more abundantly.

Corruption pt 5

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Religious Leaders and Their Corruption: Part 5
Scripture: Matthew 23:15

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I isolated this scripture because there is so much in so little. Let’s look at this next form of corruption that the religious leaders of today are burdening the people with.

The Corruption in Evangelism and False Doctrines
So many people want to go out and evangelize but what are you evangelizing? Oh that’s right, you are evangelizing the good news of Jesus Christ. Question: What did Jesus tell you to tell the people? Now that is a question. The reason I ask is because like I have said before, many people are not coming to Christ as they should if they have heard the Good News (Gospel). Now do not get me wrong, Jesus is good news, but what did Jesus say the good news or the gospel is? Before I answer, many people are going out their evangelizing and some evangel-lying. They go out there just talking without having the true message and when people hear the false doctrine and do not read to verify, then they just got the wrong message. So you can actually evangelize the entire world with the wrong message. So back to the original question: What did Jesus tell you to tell the world? Let’s go back to Matthew 10:7 and Jesus tells the disciples what to preach and evangelize: The Kingdom of Heaven. Ok let me show you another scripture, Luke 4:43. Jesus says that he must preach the KINGDOM OF GOD to other cities also; for therefore am I sent. Ok, last example! Matthew 24:14 and Jesus clearly tells you what message will cause the end to come. He states THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM! Not prosperity, faith, baptism, born again, name it claim it, but the Kingdom of God. So now does it make a little more sense why we are called Kingdom Citizens Ministry and we preach the Kingdom of God all the time. Funny, Jesus preached the Kingdom of God to the multitudes, but He did not preach himself. So what are we evangelizing? The Pharisees and Sadducees would go into this foreign land and make followers of them. Now Jesus says, you make him two-fold a child of hell. Now that is harsh but because they are not entering, and they are evangelizing to others their religion and their religion will not save anyone.

See, if we get the message right then we can effectively show the world what Jesus did and how he did it. The power of God will be made manifest through the children. Let’s at least get the message right before we go out there evangelizing. Jesus told the disciples what to preach when they go out evangelizing. Why have we changed the message? Probably because we do not understand the Kingdom of God. That is why you have to study and allow God to show you the Kingdom like never before.

At Our Father’s Service,
Min. Calvin Calhoun, Jr.

Corruption pt 4

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Religious Leaders and their Corruption: Part 4
Scripture: Matthew 23:13-15

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now we will discuss the result of following blind leadership. This is the most dangerous and devastating thing a religious leader can do. Leading hopeless and blind people into further blindness and despair. You ask how? Well, church is an emotional experience and for a while then when they leave it is back to hell for them because they learned nothing that can help them overcome their circumstance. Let’s dig deep and see the devastation that is becoming of the children

Denial of the Kingdom of God
These religious leaders who hoop, holler, jump around a stage, do a dance, every Sunday and never teach the people how to experience and enter the Kingdom of God and neither do they enter and experience themselves. The word enter has two meanings. One meaning to “come into” and another meaning of “exploring”. Look at the words of Jesus and what he was telling the religious leaders they were doing. Do you know what that means when the people do not receive the message of the Kingdom nor do they (Pharisees) know how to explore it? It means they are killing the flock! Not physically but spiritually. See in these times for many people they are low on hope and all they have to do is switch Kingdoms but these crazy preachers are hooping and hollering and getting the people all on a emotional high because they do not know how to and so they suffer the people to not know how to. This is the definition of Thou shalt not kill! I like how Jesus starts this out by saying “woe”. Jesus hates religion because religion keeps you from exploring the Kingdom and overcoming circumstances. The Kingdom gives you power to overcome and control your circumstance.

Devouring Widows
This is a sad situation but one that happens a lot in the religion of Christianity, but not in the Kingdom of God. When women become widows they can become fulnerable to predators. The predator is religion and emotions. These religious leaders of the time would go in and make all these long drawn out prayers and then just leave them. Just going to show-off. Never really having compassion and empathy for the widow. And after that encounter they just forget them. I know I am talking to someone. This is a real problem. Whenever one of us is sad, all of us should be sad. When one of us mourn, we all mourn and death is a real thing. When someone passes away and they leave a spouse, this is a time for the Kingdom family to grow closer together and comfort them not just in sympathy but in peace, love and joy in the Holy Ghost. And that is the Kingdom of God. Really, people want encouragement and not sympathy because life goes on and at that time in their lives it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel but as children of the Most High we are to let our light shine so that others in darkness can see the works of the Father and glorify Him.

At Our Father’s Service,
Min. Calvin Calhoun, Jr.

Corruption pt 3

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Religious Leaders and their Corruption: Part 3
Scripture: Matthew 23:7-12

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In this segment we will look at the titles these religious leaders have given themselves and as you read the scriptures you will see some of them Jesus said do not call them that.

Have you noticed that in the church it seems like everyone has to have a title. And what I mean is that you must call them by their title. Here is an example. Before John B. (just an example) became a pastor he was just Brother John B., down to earth, loved God and served the church well. Then Brother John B. went to Bible school and got a Doctor of Divinity degree. Now He is Dr. John B. And now he is a pastor in the church so now his new title is the Reverend Dr. John B. Now Rev. Dr. John B. tells people to make sure you call him by his full name, Reverend Dr. John B. See how silly this is. Now many of these prominent preachers got “honorary doctorates” from some university and they walk around like they did a thesis and earned the degree. I went to school for 6 years and studied to become a pharmacist, I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University. Now when I get to work, I do not tell my employees to call me Dr. Calvin Calhoun, I tell them to call me Calvin. Why? Because I earned the degree and use the title professionally to help my patients out, not to exalt myself above the team. I am already the pharmacy manager, so I am already the head, why would I need to make them call me Dr. Calvin. I am the same Calvin, at work, home and in ministry. Now some of these preachers will not address you unless you call them Dr. so-and-so. Even when I am in church, the young kids have respect for me because I earned it and they call me Calvin and I take no offense to it. I believe you should address people as Mr., Mrs. or Ms., A title is was it is, just a title. The Holy Spirit just showed this to me. When Jesus was on Earth, did he demand for the citizens and the people to call Him King Jesus? Think hard….Of course not! Why? Because he was already a King, Priest and Ambassador of the Kingdom of God. Many people when they approached Him called Him, Jesus, Son of David, Jesus, and even in the case of the devils Jesus ran into they called Him, Jesus the Son of God. See, Jesus did not have to flaunt who He was, He let the work of the Father who sent Him speak for Him.

I give respect to my Pastors, Bishops, Elders, hey anyone above me that God has put into leadership position. Be we need to stay humble in our position and not let our position exalt us above the people because if you read verse 12 then you will see all that exalts themselves will be lowered. Now real quickly look at the names Jesus said not to call someone:

Rabbi (Hebrew – my master, include the word reverd (reverend)) why? Because there is only one Master and all the rest of us are brethren (brothers and sisters). I know in some of the Jewish denominations they call the head of the religious organization. And we also see the word Reverend and I know this is a touchy subject but you have to do your research. The only person we should hold in reverence is God because He is the one true Master.

Father: This word is commonly seen in the Roman Catholic church and it denotes a priest or leader of the church. Now Jesus clearly says do not call NO MAN your father upon the earth. Why? Because your birth is spiritual first! You were born of God before the foundation of the world. So you were spiritual before you were put on the Earth in your fleshly body on the Earth. So God is your one true Father! Now that is revelation! The earthly person, who we call father, is someone who has been given charge to rear us and raise us in the fear and admonition of the Lord. But we should never forget our true Father, God Almighty! For some of us we thought we never knew our father, but God has always been there and He still is waiting for you to come to Him and give your problems to Him and let Him hold you in His arms and let you know, it will all be alright.

I do not know why all was said the way it was but I pray that this message reaches who it, is intended for.

At Our Father’s Service,
Min. Calvin Calhoun, Jr.

Corruption pt 2

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Religious Leaders and their Corruption: Part 2
Scripture: Matthew 24:5,6

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In part 2 of this series we will look at the impression that these religious leaders leave in the eyes of believers and non-believers.

The Corruptive Desire to Be Seen
Let me start by saying, did not Jesus come and be a humble King and servant? Yes! Jesus did not desire to be “seen” and to be worshipped and obtain His own glory while He was on Earth, but that the Father in Heaven be glorified. I know for those of us that are religious that is hard to believe. He came to give us life (Holy Spirit) and teach us how to live under the authority that the Holy Spirit gives us. Now as He began to show the works of the Father then those who believed in Him, worshipped Him. Some believed He was a prophet but He explicitly stated to the disciples that He was Jesus, the Christ. Then He said something unique, He said tell no one that I am Jesus the Christ. Why? Because they have to come to know Him for themselves. But the religious leaders have utterly reversed this as it relates to themselves. They look for the crowds to glorify them because they can “preach good” or sound good. They look to get the millions of dollars and make sure they show off their planes and cars to the congregation. This is exactly what the Pharisees and Sadducees were doing, they were taking and never giving. See when you desire to be seen then you get your reward but God said what is done in secret, then He shall bless you openly. Can you imagine what would happen if we stop buying all of these religious peoples books, especially those who are not teaching the Kingdom of God, and picked up God’s Word and learned it for ourselves, then we can learn how to move under the authority of the Holy Spirit. And when you move under the Holy Spirit you move peaceably, but forcefully. You move under love and not under fame. See, all that I do is for the Father and to help my brothers and sisters (those saved and not saved) to understand their rights and/or receive their rights and come into power like never before. See the religious leaders keep the power to themselves so they can be seen and glorified but Jesus said let your light so shine so that the Father in Heaven is glorified, NOT YOU! I can understand why people see “church” on t.v. and think it is a joke and a corrupt business, because that is what the religious leaders of our day have reduce the Kingdom of God to in the eyes of the people. But thank God, for the preachers that I have come to know that preach the Kingdom of God: Moses, Daniel, David, Isaiah, Jesus, Paul, Myles Munroe, Kenneth Te Wano, Sam Soleyn, Leonard Robinson and I know there are many more of you. These people did not preach the Gospel of the Kingdom to be seen, but to help our brothers and sisters come into a Kingdom where the healthcare system is the best, the economy has been strong since the beginning of time and the military protects the citizens from all hurt harm and danger. I like that country! I preach the gospel of the Kingdom because Jesus said Himself that THIS gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached unto all the world and then the end shall come (Matthew 24:14). How many of these preachers have you heard and never heard the Gospel of the Kingdom? So what type of preachers are they? Sad and we wonder why Christ has not come back yet?

As a leader of the church, we are to be humble Kingdom servants and help our brothers and sisters, not to be seen as a good preacher, but to do the Will of God that He might be glorified. I appreciate every thank you and word of encouragement from everyone on this ministry and I also appreciate the prayers. But if it were not for the Lord and Him cleaning me up and making me into who I am, I could not be a worthy vessel for Him to use to deliver His message. It is our prayer that you not only get wisdom and knowledge from these messages but you also get understanding so you can learn how to apply the wisdom and knowledge.

At Our Father’s Service,
Min. Calvin Calhoun, Jr.

Corruption pt 1

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Religious Leaders and their Corruption Part 1
Scripture: Matthew 23:1-4

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
This might be one of the most in your face series, but the Lord is tired of these so-called religious leaders of our time misleading the flock. The Pharisees and the Sadducees did the exact same thing and over the next 5 messages we are going to try to open your eyes to the corruption that is going on so you can hear and understand that discerning from within. Let’s get right to it.

Verse 3 – Do As They Say, Not as They Do
Now the religious leaders of their time knew the law and the scriptures and some of the things they were saying for the people to do was right, but they did them neither. Now this is the basic form of corruption in the church now. We have preachers telling people to get married and honour your vows and yet they have had 2 wives and still have a girlfriend on the side. We have preachers telling the people to live as the Word commands and yet they live the most corrupt lives on the planet. They tell the people to speak life and speak as Christ did, but yet in their movies they produce they have the secular artists just cursing left and right and call it a Christian movie. We have preachers preaching on hope, but will not deal with the sin people are in to get them to the hope. We have preachers that preach on tithes every Sunday to get your money, and yes you should tithe, but they will not give. This is the basic corruption that is going on in the church. Then there is the level 2 corruption, Do neither as they say or as they do. This is where they are totally corrupt and distorted.

Verse 4 – Burdening the Flock
The Pharisees and the Sadducees would burden the people and tell them that their sickness and their oppression is on them and they force the people to give when they did not have and continue to hold the people down to lift themselves up. Sounds like some preachers I know. Here is a great example. Two preachers in Atlanta have these millions of dollars in cars and million dollar mansions but yet their congregations lives are not improving, I do not see millionaires coming out of their congregations by leaps and bounds. I still see the same hoods and run-down neighborhoods, but the pastor is living like millionaire and may I suggest maybe off the backs of the people. I know you see it and the Spirit is saying something is wrong. These preachers have private jets that the church payed for but the congregation can’t use it? The preachers have people in their congregations going spiritually hungry and never hear the Gospel of the Kingdom. What a shame and this is just 2 prominent preachers. There are many more. When I preach the Word, I do not look for money, if the church chooses to donate, I will be grateful but what I have been called to do was freely given to me so I freely give it to you. I have come to teach you how to be empowered through Christ and teach you how to control your circumstances. How many of you, especially in these times, want to control your circumstances? See if your pastor is not teaching and preaching the Kingdom of God and showing you how to improve your life then why are you there? It is funny, when you preach the Kingdom message then people become empowered and it move the power from the pulpit to the people. Jesus came to move the power from Him to us. It is up to you if you want to see the corruption and change your life. The choice is yours!

The Great Feast

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Great Feast of Life
Scripture: Matthew 22:1-14

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
This Kingdom Parable is one of the most revealing I have read and one that the Holy Spirit showed me some revelation into end. Let’s start at the beginning. The Kingdom of God was prepared for the saints from the foundation of the world. So after the fall in the Garden, God sent forth His servants (Prophets) to call them (The children of Israel) to the wedding (Return of the Messiah). They were bidden by God over and over again and they made light of it. The children of Israel, sadly killed some of the prophets that were called by God to spread the news of the coming of the Messiah. God became very angry and sent His armies (Angels) and destroyed those murderers and burned up their city. So this wedding is now ready but the people it was ready for are not worthy so invite as many as you can find to the marriage (invitation to the Gentiles). The children of God then went out and bid (evangelism) as many as they could to the wedding. Now when the King came in (Jesus) he saw a man (Satan and his children) which had not on a wedding garment (Holy Spirit) and because they did not have on the wedding garment they were cast out of the wedding into Hell.

In order to be ready for the feast you have to be dressed accordingly for the ceremony. See the garment you must have on is the Holy Spirit. This is a very simple choice. You can either be at the wedding or be cast out into utter darkness, which is Hell. See, God is calling you to the wedding and all you have to do is accept the invitation and come on in. And in the appointed time, the King will enter in and everyone who thought they were going to stay, who did not have the Holy Spirit, will be bound by the Angels and cast out. People this is a very real situation and picture for the World. It is our job to bid as many people as we can to come into the Kingdom and receive their garment for the Great Feast of Life. It is my heart’s desire for everyone on this ministry to be dressed accordingly and invite other to join also so they can get dressed before the entrance of the King! The work is not in the four walls of a temple but in the world of the lost.

The First Commandment

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The First Commandment
Scripture: Matthew 22:36-40

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
When the Pharisees and Sadducces came unto Jesus, they asked Him what was the great commandment and Jesus gave them the answer in verses 37-40. Now what is unique about His answer is the order in which we are commanded to love.

1. Love yourself last – This is a hard concept for many people because there are songs out there that talk about loving yourself first and this is clearly not what Jesus wanted us to do first. I hear so many people talk about how much they love themselves and rarely do they talk about loving God based on their actions.
2. Love God First – Now if you do not love God, your Father, King, creator and Lord then I do not need to go any further. This must be first in your life. It must be above, your friends, parents, wife, husband. All of Them! You must love God first!
3. Love Your Neighbor – Your neighbor is your brothers and sisters and including your enemies. You are commanded to love them next above yourself.
This is another classic example of how different the Kingdom of God works from our natural world. See in the natural world, everyone tells you to love yourself first but in the Kingdom of God, you love yourself last. Love God first, your neighbor second and yourself last.

Power of Prayer

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Power of Prayer
Scripture: Matthew 21:21-22

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now I know for some of you, when you read these scriptures, you say Jesus can do this only. Now that is a religious thought! Look at the words again and read it slowly, Jesus is telling you and giving you, the citizen, information to let you know the power you will once you have received the power from on High (Holy Ghost). Now here is the good part. Read verse 22! And all things, Yes, Jesus says all things! Whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing. See there is the key, believing and having faith. So many people, pray for God to do something and then we try to dictate how God should do it. When we do that, we show a lack of faith because we want it on our terms and God does not work on our terms. When you ask God for something you have to believe He can do it because He is your Father, the possessor of Heaven and Earth. And the reward of the believer shall receive what they ask for. Ok so you have been praying and nothing is happening, then there is something wrong with your connection to God. See if God is Holy to His Word then He will do what He says He will do. So if you are not receiving then we need to look in the mirror. Let me show you a secret.

Read James 5:16. Now it is clear to the Holy Spirit as revealed to James that if we want to receive from God and have our prayers answered, then we first must forgive. I have said this many times and Jesus stressed it over many times while on Earth. If you do not forgive then the Father will not forgive you. So, if you are not lined-up properly (righteous) then do not expect God to give you anything. As harsh as that is when you read James 5:16, it says in the latter that the fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. So the prayer of a righteous person are answered. Now you may think that is hard and it is because it forces you to get lined up with God and humble yourself to your brother and sister that may have done you wrong or you did wrong and ask for forgiveness. Forgiveness is a very humbling experience but pride will cause you not to do it and will prevent you from receiving from God. So in order to receive from God then you must be righteous and believe.

House of Prayer

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: A House of Prayer
Scripture: Matthew 21:12-13

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now this message is going to get somebody upset but hey it is the Word of God and when we accepted Christ and the Holy Spirit, we accepted to follow the truth so when we read these scriptures, I pray that pastors and leaders, we start making changes and setting the example that the church is not a business! Many pastors have made it that and Jesus HATES that. Let’s look at verse 12 first!

Look at what Jesus does when he enters the temple! He cast out all them who:
1. Sold and bought in the temple
2. Were moneychangers and sold doves

Now if we just look at this scripture alone, based off of the actions of Jesus, it is clear that we are not to sell or purchase ANYTHING in the House of God! Regardless if it is fundraising and or selling cd’s and recordings of the service (Why sell the Word of God when it is free?), selling dinners and all these things we do to raise money for the church. This is a religious concept that we need to stop. Question: Does God Need Our Help Raising Money for His Church? Hmm! Ok, the only thing that God requires of us is our tithes and offerings. Can we agree on that. So, if every member of their respective House of God pay their tithes and offerings AS THEY SHOULD then naturally the church should be able to do whatever it needs to provide ministerial services to the community. But on the spiritual side – Matthew 6:33 states “But seek ye first, the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all of these things shall be added unto you.” So based off of God’s law if the church seeks God’s Kingdom first and stay in right-positioning with God, then God will supply all the needs of the church. Now that is a different concept. Whatever God ordains, He sustains. So if God ordained His church then the church if it is in righteousness with God will have all of it’s needs met. How about this let’s go back to biblical times and do what Jesus called us to do and see if that works and that is:

Preach the Word and the Gospel of the Kingdom!!

Pastors if you just do this one thing and show people how to live in the Kingdom, the church will be taken care of by God. All of the money the church needs will come from just everywhere but we have to put our faith in who we cannot see and not who we can see. Yes we should encourage members to pay their tithes but it should not be an every Sunday sermon because then you are searching for money and all you need is the Word of God and the Gospel of the Kingdom. This ministry is a witness to how God sustains what He ordains. We have not spent a dime nor solicited a dime for anyone yet the Lord has pricked the hearts of nearly 700 people to hear the Kingdom of God message daily in their emails and on facebook. He has blessed us to reach the World through internet radio and Itunes. And all I had to do was preach the Word of God and the Kingdom of God to whom God has sent to me. When I did not do as instructed the growth slowed but when I did as God instructed the growth has been continuous and large. So Pastors and Bishops, change today how we get money for the church. Do as Jesus instructed and have faith and watch the power of God be made manifest in your ministry.

Finally, verse 13, Jesus states that His house shall be a house of prayer; but you (Pharisees, Sadducees, Religious Leaders: Pastors and Bishops) have made it a den of thieves. Now I am not calling you a thief, but Jesus is! You have now been warned by Jesus himself if you have read this message. Stop all of the selling and buying in the house of God! The Holy Spirit just revealed this to me! If we sell, buy and fundraise in the church then we as the people can state this claim “If it were not for me and my contributions then the church would not be able to function.” See this is the attitude that happens when we search for the money from the congregation instead of from God himself. Let me show you this scripture and I pray it seeps into your soul:

Genesis 14:21-23
And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons and take the goods to thyself. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the Lord, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, that I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take anything that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich.

My, my, my! The underlined portion is the key. Instead of Abram seeking the riches of the king of Sodom, he sought the Almighty God, the possessor of heaven and earth. See God wants the credit because man will take the credit if given the chance. So when it comes to God’s House, because He is the possessor of heaven and earth, then He controls the money and all the things you need for the ministry. So, seek the Kingdom and allow the things (money) to seek you and not you seek the things and give man credit for what God has ordained and sustained.

A Kingdom of Servant Leaders

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: A Kingdom of Servant Leaders
Scripture: Matthew 20:25-28

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
This is a unique topic but one that the citizens and sons of God must understand when you read the scriptures. Ok! God calls you a King. So on Earth you are a King because you are an administrator and standard setter for the World as it relates to the Kingdom of God. Now Jesus in verse 25 shows the disciples how the Gentiles exercise dominion or royal power over the people. So in other words the rulers of the Gentiles oppressed them but look at what Jesus says in verse 26 (Hallelujah), “It shall not be so with you”. But look at the next statement, but whosoever be great among you, let him be your minister. So those who set the standard and live the Kingdom life are considered great, but they are there to minister to you. Minister means to serve. What? I know you are asking, if I am a King then why am I serving? See in the natural world the people serve (servants) the King but in the Kingdom of God, the King serves the people. Ok, I know that was loaded let’s continue through the scriptures. Now in verse 28, Jesus says whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. So in other words, those in leadership should be serving the people of God. So your Pastor or Bishop should be serving you! How is that? They should be feeding you the true Word of God and being attentive to the flocks cries and concerns. So, your pastor or bishop should be reachable and close enough to the flock to be able to serve them and help them with their concerns. Once again, you should not have to fight 20 ministers, 40 deacons and 5 secretaries to speak to your leader. I will leave that there for you to ponder. Now the answer to the above question is found in verse 28. Jesus says “Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and to give his life a ransom for many”. Get ready to be blessed:
Jesus came not to be served but to serve and give his life for us. Jesus is our King and yet He states that He has come to minister or serve. So the Kingdom of God has Kings who serve the people. In other words we are a Kingdom of Servant Leaders. Even though we set the standard for the world (King) we are here to serve those (Servant) who believe in the wrong thing and help them get back their Kingdom citizen rights through the Holy Spirit (Leadership). Is that not what Jesus did for us? I rest my case!

This is why you have to have your mind renewed because the mind you had before you were saved will not work in the Kingdom of God because what you would do in the world naturally, will not work in the Kingdom. In this Kingdom you lead by serving. So if you are not serving but looking for people to serve you, you are not Kingdom-minded. Especially, all these so-called famous pastors and preachers on t.v. who have all these millions of dollars and million-dollar mansions where the people cannot come because it is in a double-gated community. You get the point. Thought to ponder:

What would have happened if Jesus was just like these millionaire preachers living in million-dollar homes in a secured gated community where no poor people are allowed to come in for fear of having the police called on them? So, is it possible to really be a Kingdom Servant Leader and the people have no access to you?

Whoever came to Jesus he served them, including the Pharisees and Sadducees (with the Word of God). Jesus did not refuse anyone who came to Him. Does your pastor or bishop serve the people or do the people serve the pastor?

Are You Able?

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Are You Able?
Scripture: Matthew 20:20-23; Romans 5:3

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
So many people in the world look at those people who are in the “perceived” power positions and desire to be like them to get the things like them. But what we fail to do is look at the method that this person used to get to the “top”. Some stepped on people and hurt them on their way, some cheated their way and some worked hard legitimately. To go a step further, some people made themselves pastors and bishops for the sake of fame, power and personal fortune. Look on t.v. you know who they are. But the Kingdom of God is very unique. As stated in the previous email, the wealth in the Kingdom of God is common amongst all the citizens. But to be called a child of God and a citizen of the Kingdom comes at a price. Now we ask the question “Are you able?”

Look at verse 22, earlier the mother of Zebedee’s children asked Jesus to grant her two sons to sit on the left and right hand of the Father in the Kingdom. Now look at Jesus response verse 22. “Are you able to drink the cup that I shall drink and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with.” Now let’s start with the cup. The cup symbolizes the sufferings and persecutions that the believer will undergo. Now for those of us who have not become citizens of the Kingdom, this may seem weird to you but let me explain, Kingdom citizens follow along. If I being a citizen of the Kingdom can show you power to overcome life’s circumstances then that is a better witness to someone that I have unique power to overcome than just a testimony. In turn, they (those who are not citizens yet) want to know in their spirit how to do the same. But I have to suffer some so that I can go through it and then show those who are in trouble, how to overcome. See the only way I overcome is through the power of the Holy Ghost. Let me give you a comforting scripture:

John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

I do not know if you know what that means but let me quickly show you. Jesus came to give us peace in the midst of tribulation, sin and trouble in the World (sounds like these times we live in). Then Jesus clearly states in the world there is tribulation. Now the good part, He said “be of good cheer”. So rejoice in tribulation because He overcame the world and so shall you because you are in His image and His LIKENESS! Hallelujah!

Now the baptism! The goal, assignment and mission of Jesus was not Calvary!!!! It was to get the Holy Ghost back into the children. Calvary was a means to an end of the power of sin that satan had on the children. But when you receive such power it comes with great responsibility. When you receive the Holy Ghost you are a representative of the Kingdom of God. The way you live and speak can cause someone to either come to Christ or continue to walk in darkness. God did not leave this ministry to angels, he left it to the children themselves. If you are not leading a life that promotes others to becoming citizens then you are destroying lives instead of improving them. The power we have been given has been given to us to change the world by setting the standards for the world and a person that sets standards are called Kings and God has called you that. Then you represent Him in the Earth, so you are now priests in the Earth. As a result you are a Kingdom of Priests, a Royal Priesthood (Exodus 19:6; 1 Peter 2:9) and a Holy Nation. Now that sounds powerful, but it has to be a reality in your mind. This is why I personally take ministering and this ministry so serious because I know we are dealing with lives and the wrong information is just as dangerous as no information. I am not above correction in the Spirit and I pray that this ministry that God has entrusted me with is showing you how to live and come into your inheritance which is the Kingdom of God which provides love, joy peace in the Holy Ghost! If you want that in your life, continue to read and allow God to prick your heart. I love you and God loves you. He is calling you home and letting you know, coming unto Him has more benefits than staying from Him.

The Death of Jesus: A Public Issue?

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Death of Jesus: A Public Issue?
Scripture: Matthew 20:17-19

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Now I know you are wondering, what’s up with the title? Well this is another subject that the church has totally misused and misunderstood for the past 1800 years. Ok, let’s look at the scriptures. Look at verse 17 because here is the key! Jesus took the twelve disciples apart (aside). So, what Jesus was about to say was not for the multitude to hear. Now look what he told them in verse 18 and 19. He described for them what was going to happen to him. His betrayal, death and resurrection. Now the next statement I am going to make, may shock you but you have to read it for yourself to understand:

Jesus did not tell the multitudes about His death, burial and resurrection!

He hinted to it in a small parable where he said “He will destroy this temple and raise it in three days”. So the next question is, What are we evangelizing and telling the multitudes? Is the death, burial and resurrection important? Yes, but have you noticed it really is not winning people to Christ by leaps and bounds. The reality is people really do not want Jesus and they do not want to hear about death, the cross, blood and resurrection. They want to know how to control their lives now! Funny, isn’t that exactly what Jesus showed us how to do with the Holy Spirit? He taught you how to live in the Kingdom and function on Earth with it and how to overcome and take control of your circumstances and not vice versa. The Kingdom gives you power, Religion takes it away. Now once they look at your life and ask how to I enter into the Kingdom of God, then you bring them to the door of the Kingdom, King Jesus. Now, you can introduce them to how he is the King and how He died on the cross to wash you clean and give you the Holy Spirit and everlasting life. See, Jesus had it right, we have utterly reversed what Jesus did. So in other words, Calvary is a private issue and not a public issue. Mel Gibson and the Passion of the Christ movie made it all wrong. They say and religion says, Jesus dying on the cross was his passion. No, No, No,! Read Matthew 3:11 and the words of John to see what the Passion of Christ is. Yes! Baptize you with the Holy Ghost! So the Passion of the Christ is to get the Holy Ghost back in you. There is a time and a place to talk about his death, burial and resurrection but according to Jesus, when we are dealing with the lost, show them how to live the Kingdom life, then introduce them to King Jesus. So, Jesus is clear that there are public issues and these are the Kingdom Parables and showing the lost Kingdom Culture and Living and there are Private “Family” Issues such as His death at Calvary, His burial and His Resurrection. Let me leave you with a thought about witnessing:

Jesus did not preach Himself to the multitudes!

So if Jesus did not preach Himself to the multitudes, then what are we supposed to be telling the lost? Matthew 10:7; Luke 4:43; Now if you took the time to read those scriptures then you will know what we should be preaching and declaring.

Commonwealth of the Kingdom

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Commonwealth of the Kingdom
Scripture: Matthew 20:1-16

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
Here is another Kingdom parable where Jesus is explaining how the Kingdom of Heaven operates. Now this parable is unique because it shows a householder paying a penny for labourers to work in the vineyards. Now as time goes on others join in the work, even up until the evening hours. Now when it was time to get paid the ones that had been there the longest received the same amount as those who just started that evening. The ones, of course that started that morning were obviously upset because they felt they worked the hardest but the householder only promised a penny for their labor. Now here is the revelation, no matter what time you entered into the Kingdom of Heaven and received the Holy Ghost and started working the vineyard the reward is still the same for all that entered, eternal life. Now those of us that entered a long time ago feel as if those who entered recently do not know anything and they have to earn their way and this is a religious concept that oppresses the newcomer into the Kingdom. Regardless if you came into the Kingdom in the 1940’s or you came in yesterday, the reward is still the same.

The reason I entitled this message the Commonwealth of the Kingdom is because the wealth is common for all citizens. Every citizen has received according to the Will of God in order to build the Kingdom. Funny, the Holy Ghost within someone who is 80 years of age is the same Holy Ghost in a 30 year old and the same Holy Ghost in the 8 year old. The Holy Ghost operates the same in all of us, but it is up to us to listen and execute the Will of God to see the power. The Holy Ghost knows all truth and is the same yesterday, today and in the time to come. See because God is Holy the same gift He gave to Adam is the same gift he gave to Jesus and is the same gift He has given to us as an inheritance which is the Kingdom of God. No person in the Kingdom will receive greater than the other because the wealth is common, or the same, amongst all the citizens. Now you may say well Bro. Calvin, I am poorer than my other brother. But the problem is you are looking through your eyes and not the eyes of God. Ok, here is a promise: Matthew 5:3 – Blessed are the poor in spirit; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. See I told you, if you are poor in spirit then God knows what you need! You need the Kingdom, because once you come into the Kingdom, you inevitably become rich! How about that! Thank God for being just and fair and not like the people and leaders of this Earth who only look out for themselves and their pockets.

The Truth About Prosperity

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Truth about Prosperity
Scripture: Matthew 19:16-30

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
I know all of our t.v. preachers love the message of prosperity but today, I pray you come to the truth about prosperity. Let’s look at the scriptures! Here we see a young rich ruler who had all these possessions and wanted to know how to have eternal life. Jesus tells him to keep the commandments and like a young ambitious person, he quickly said I have done all of this. Now it get’s good! Jesus then says, you will be perfect if you go and sell all that he had and give it to the poor and then you shall have treasure in heaven and then follow Him. Now this young man became sad when Jesus made that request. Why? Because he treasured those possessions and giving them away would mean they are no longer his. This is a worldly thought process. What leaves my hand is no longer mine! But in the Kingdom it is different. What leaves your hand allows Heaven to replace with more than you can imagine. So the KEY is to give! This leads into the next statement of Jesus, He said it is hard for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. He did not say a rich man could not enter, he said it was hard. He makes an analogy describing how hard by describing a camel trying to fit between the eye of a needle (a equipment used to hold camels to clean them).

See a rich person tends to treasure their things and worldly possessions, but if you are going to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven you have to be able to give up the things of the world because they are all temporary, all of your treasure is eternal. Now after all of this what about prosperity? Here is the revelation:

Anyone who comes into the Kingdom of God and lives in it, you inherently become prosperous!

In other words, prosperity is a natural by-product of Kingdom living. This is why the gospel of prosperity is so poisonous to the saints. The gospel of prosperity puts your heart and mind in the things of the world and the Gospel of the Kingdom naturally comes with prosperity and benefits of Kingdom living. This is why Jesus said it is “hard” for a rich man to enter. He did not say it was hard for a rich man to stay in the Kingdom. See once you taste Kingdom living and the prosperity it gives then you do not want anything else. God can move things in and out of your life and you do not worry but find joy in the fact that you do not worry about being prosperous but being righteous in the eye of the King. Because if you are righteous in the eyes of the King then you inherit prosperity. Prosperity is not monetary only! Prosperity is consistent growth in the Kingdom and having access to all that you need and receiving all the blessings that are rightfully yours through righteous living.

Kingdom Provision of Celibacy

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: The Kingdom Provision of Celibacy
Scripture: Matthew 19:11-12

Greetings Kingdom Citizens

Now of course we stress celibacy till marriage. But there are some who have vowed to be celibate for life. Now, there is nothing wrong with that. Some have done it for the sake of the Kingdom of God. If so, fine. But let’s look at what happens when you combine religion with this. Now many of us have heard of the Catholic church scandal where the priest was molesting the little boys and of course we know this is a tip of probably what has been going on. We know the Catholic church has hid and shifted these molesters around to save face. Now, these priests have vowed to be celibate to their calling. But when natural desires and yearning for a WOMAN starts to become very strong, to prevent from committing fornication, it is best to loose yourself of that religion and be with the one God has called you to be with. See what has happened is because their religion has such a stronghold of them they go even further in sin and molest not girls, but boys. They are committing homosexual acts against these children who are so confused now because they do not know whether to tell their parents that father so-and-so has molested them because they fear the parents will not believe them.

If you are going to be celibate, be celibate! If not, get married! It really comes down to those two options. Regardless of your reasons, whatever you do, just be righteous. This is why Jesus did not spend a lot of time on this issue. Just be righteous.

Kingdom Provisions of Divorce

The Good News (Gospel) According to Matthew
Today’s Focus: Relationships, Marriage and Divorce According to the Kingdom pt 3
Kingdom Provisions of Divorce
Series Scriptures: Matthew 19:1-12; 1 Corinthians 7; Genesis 1:27-28; Genesis 2; Romans 5:3

Greetings Kingdom Citizens
As bitter and hurtful separation and divorce is, God has made a provision for it because of the hardness of man’s heart and for the sake of peace. Look at Matthew 19:8. Jesus is explaining to the Pharisees that the reason for divorce was established because of the hardness of man’s heart. Now look at what Jesus says after that, “But from the beginning it was not so”. So in the beginning there was no divorce. So we are the reason, our hearts are the reason for the institution of divorce. But like a great Father, God makes a way to restore peace in the lives of His children. Jesus states one of the conditions of divorce and Paul, under the Holy Spirit, wrote about others in 1 Corinthians 7.

In these times, especially in the United States the divorce rate is well over 50%. Financial difficulties, children, lack of respect in the relationship, lack of love and most of all a lack of God, has lead to the increased divorce rate. It is so easy for the parents to get lost in the bitterness of a divorce and forget about the children and how they are affected, but God gives us this provision for the sake of peace. Has it been overly used? Possibly? For some, people got married for all the wrong reasons and now in these hard times the relationship is being put to the fire to see if it can stand the heat. Funny, the one person who gave the most advice on marriage and divorce was someone who was never married, Paul! Now, word to the wise, just because someone has not been married or been married long does not mean they do not know about relationships. If they are filled with the Holy Ghost and are being led by the Holy Ghost, it does not matter if they have never had a relationship because the Holy Spirit, knows all, guides and teaches all in truth! I encourage all to read 1 Corinthians 7 and remember, no marriage is going to be without some rainy days. But it is the anticipation of the sunshine that we should look forward to.
