Culture of Righteous Rule
Today’s Focus: The Law of the House of God: Standard for the World
Scripture: Matthew 6:10; Exodus 19:5,6; Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:1,2
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
The Law of the House of God is the substance that aligns the purposes of Heaven with the earth. The Law of the House of God adjust the systems of the world to choreograph it’s agenda to suite the purposes of the Eternal. This is why we pray:
Matthew 6:10: They Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven.
We want the rulership of God, His laws, decrees and commands to rule in our lives and when we line up with those laws, God has children who He can operate through to bring His Will to the Earth. His children put on display a different culture and system of living that defies the world’s ways and systems of doing things. For example, in this world people get by taking by force and looking out for oneself. In the Kingdom, the sons receive by giving and laying down their lives for someone else. So we have two systems on the same Earth. But here is the mind blowing aspect to all of this. The Kingdom of God is the original government on Earth. It was the first government on the Earth and will be the last and eternal government. What should this tell us? It tells us that we need to study our constitution and laws in order to live righteously in our Father’s House and His Kingdom. Let me give you a great example:
In our natural parent’s house, there are rules or laws that the children should abide by, just as well the parents should too. These laws frame and align the household to be able to run smoothly and everyone live in harmony.
Proverbs 22:6: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Ephesians 6:1,2: Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right, Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
The phrase “train up” in Hebrew is the word “chanak” and it means to discipline. How do we discipline someone? We impose standards and exhibit those standards in our very own lives so that others when they look at us they will see the standard by which they are to follow. When the parents train the children up in the Lord and the children obey and honor the parents, what we have is harmony and a natural standard showing a eternal reality.
The Standard for the Law of the House of God is the Father. He has laid out rules, commandments and decrees for His children. When we align up with those rules (righteousness) then even though the Father is invisible, the natural man can see God in us and through by the standards and laws that we live by. If we did not live by the standards of the Father then the Father could not be seen. For over 4,000 years that standard was suppressed due to the sin of man, but God in all of His love, sent His standard, His Son, The Word of God, Jesus Christ into the Earth to show us the standard again. Now watch this:
There was already a standard in the Earth when Jesus came and it was called the Law. The Law of Moses was given to preserve and protect and make a nation of Israel. Jesus ran into many conflicts with the administrators of the Law, namely the Pharisees. They would on many occasions try to trap Jesus using the Law. But what they could not see and understand that the fulfillment of Law, the giver of that Law was standing before them and now He was ushering in the reality of the current standard that was set called the Law of Moses. Remember the Law was given because of their rejection of the first covenant which would have made them a Holy Nation and a Kingdom of Priests (Exodus 19:5,6). That is the original standard but because their rejection and God’s unfailing love, He gave them the Law which they could live by until the fulfillment of the Law comes and restores the eternal order which makes men mature Sons of God to bring righteous rule to the Earth.
In the next message we will look at the consequences of living through the types and shadows and not the eternal reality.
