Hallmark
of the House of God
Greetings
Sons of God:
What
are the things that distinguishes the House of God from every other religion,
church and government? We can say the
fruits of the Spirit such as love, meekness and longsuffering but today I want
to share one hallmark to me that is extremely special but a huge sign
considering the time we are living in and this message’s intent is to bring us
back to the centrality of Christ’s doctrine and the maturity that is required
to be the city on the hill and the nation above all nations. Here is the Scripture:
Isaiah
2:3,4: And many people shall go and say,
Come ye, and let us go to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us
of his ways and we will walk in his paths : for out of Zion shall go forth the
law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem . And he shall judge among the
nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall rebuke many people: and
they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into
pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they
learn war any more.
Notice
that after the nations come into the House of God, they learn of His ways and
are rebuked by Him and those who represent Him.
The rebuking is necessary to address the inaccurate mindset one enters
into the House of God with. This is the
elementary doctrine of Repentance from dead works. But notice after all of that they turn their
weapons of war (swords and spears) into tools of cultivation (plowshares and
pruninghooks) and it is in this action they LEARN WAR NO MORE! They learn not to fight flesh and blood but
cultivate and colonize mankind with the culture of Heaven and the Kingdom of
God. For many of us we have been
fighting the wrong war and until we come under sound doctrine and learn of His
way we will continue to carry the weapons of war in our mind and instead to
colonizing and cultivating we are tearing down man. God never called us to tear down mankind or
destroy their lives. He did tell us to
break down systems and false idols that snare man to the systems of the world
but not man himself.
The
Scriptures say that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty
through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
Where are the strongholds? In the
mindset of man. Satan uses the systems
of the world to trap man in his mind that he must depend upon these systems for
his life and not God Himself. We are
coming to a time the governments and kingdoms of the land will turn on the Body
of Christ. Especially in America. Many of these “benefits” the government gives
the church will be taken away. Some
houses will fall and others will be exalted at the time. God will allow this to happen to show who we
have truly put our faith in. There is
absolutely nothing that an earthly government can do to stop the advancing of
the Kingdom, NOTHING! But until you
leave the mindset and the weapons it uses to protect itself you will continue to
fight flesh in blood to preserve a failing system.

God.
