Focus: Eternal Judgment Part
3: Understanding Judging
Greetings Sons of God:
Matthew 7:1,2: Judge not, that ye
be not judged for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with
what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
1 Corinthians 6:1-8: Dare any of
you, having a matter against another, go to the law before the unjust, and not
before the saints? Do ye not know that
the saints shall judge the world? And if the world shall be judged by you, are
ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? How much more things that
pertain to this life? If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this
life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there
is not a wise man among you? No, not one that shall be able to judge between
his brethren? But brother goeth to law
with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
Now therefore there is utterly a fault
among you, because ye go to the law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? Why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be
defrauded? Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren
Let’s take these two scriptures
and get an understanding. So many people
so “do not judge”, “you should not judge”.
Now I wonder have they read 1 Corinthians 6 before? In Matthew 7 when Jesus speaks of judge not
lest you be judged, he is speaking of judging from your personal opinion and
perspective. If God tells you something
is wrong and you repeat His Words then the judgment is righteous because it
comes from God. Now we as the saints can
judge matters, within the church. 1
Corinthians 6 speaks of how we as the saints make the mistake of taking issues
within the church to the unjust law system when it should be handled by the
church. When two sons of God have an issue then it is the Word of God that
should render judgment to reconcile the situation and if need be reconcile
and/or restore the relationship between the sons. Issues that happen within the
church should stay within the church.
God has a way of dealing with conflict within His House and we should
yield to his way and not our systems.
Why would we send the righteous to be judged by the unrighteous? Sounds crazy.
Let me go back to this
illustration: When two sons of God have
an issue, the point to resolving the issue is to reconcile and restore the
relationship. Now, the issue should be
brought before their spiritual father and the spiritual father, through the Word
of God will judge the matter. The
spiritual father do not see two males, two females, husband and wife or man and
woman because we regard no one by the flesh.
The spiritual father sees two sons of God, like the Father does.
We need to get out of using the
whole “judge not lest ye be judge” in every case scenario because that is wrong
in the majority cases, especially the cases within the church according to 1
Corinthians 6. Eternal judgment is not
just reserved for the day to come, it can be for the present day. God can render judgment whenever He
pleases.
