Today’s Topic: Signs in the Heavens: The Concept of Shaking Part 2
Scripture: Matthew 24:29; Hebrews 12:25-28; Numbers 24:17; 2 Corinthians 12:1,2; Ephesians 6:12; Revelation 12:7-10
Greetings Kingdom Citizens
In the last message we laid the groundwork for what shaking is and briefly talked about the purpose of shaking and what is being moved in the heavens. Today we will look extensively at Hebrews 12:25-28 to get more understanding to why things are shaken and what it means for us.
Verse 25: “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on Earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven.” Now in just this scripture we see the Holy Spirit speaking through Paul and giving us an ominous warning not to refuse the one who speaks. Now this could be anybody, but it is referring to the person that speaks on behalf of the Lord. Now I am going to tell you this but expound on it later in the message. In this scripture the person that spoke on Earth who they refused and did not escape the wrath of God was Noah. Noah told the people that it was going to rain and to prepare themselves and the people refused him and all those that refused did not escape. Now God did not stop there, He warns us of how much more we will not escape if we turn away from the words that are spoke from Heaven. Listen this is very important and vital and I am going to put this sentence separate from this paragraph:
It is vital to your survival that you learn the voice from Heaven within you, the Holy Spirit because the fallen angels will attempt to deceive you and in these days approaching the Return of the Lord, the deception will become stronger and stronger to a point that even the chosen children of God, if it were possible, would turn away from God completely and worship the devil freely.
But for all of those who do not heed the words of our Lord, not only in the Bible but also from the Throne itself you will not escape the wrath of God that will be unleashed on the Earth and for some the Lake of Fire, the second death, the eternal death.
Verse 26: “Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the Earth only but also heaven” Now the Holy Spirit was referring to the scripture through the prophet Haggai in Haggai 2:6. And there is now a clear statement that this time, just like the last time God shook the Earth was the Flood in Noah’s time, God will shake the Earth and the Heaven this time. So if we look at Haggai 2:6 the prophecy clearly describes both natural things and eternal things will be shaken.
Verse 27: “And this word, Yet once more, signifieth, the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain”. Now, the Holy Spirit explains what will happen upon this “shaking”. All things that were created will be moved. Now that includes, humans, angels, the Earth, the stars and planets. But what is unique is that there is something from all of this that will remain and will not be moved with this shaking and this is the revelation.
Verse 28- “Wherefore we receiving a Kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” Is it no wonder why the message of the Kingdom is the most important message that the world needs, believers as well as unbelievers. Because unless you know and understand the Kingdom, when things get shaken up it will be hard for you to stand on the Word because everything centers around the Kingdom of God. It is the only thing that will not be moved. Think about it this way, when Satan and His fallen angels are cast out into the Earth, and this will happen, no longer will they enjoy invisibility but they will now be subject to the rules of time and they will come with fury and their evil power, do not think that the Earth will not be shaken up a little. Please put this in your mind for a second. We worry and fret about the demonic now, what do you think it will be like when humans come face-to-face with these demonic creatures and their power? So it is in your best interest to know the Kingdom, understand the Kingdom and experience the Kingdom, because when the shaking happens, you will be anchored to the Kingdom and will not be moved nor cast into the Lake of Fire.
This is not a maybe situation, this shaking is promised by the Lord and will happen. The question is, are you anchored to the Kingdom?
