Wisdom for the Sons : Total Dependence

Matthew 6:31-32:  Therefore take not thought saying, what shall we eat? or what shall we drink?  or, wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Beloved sons of the Most High God, this very first thing the Lord tells us take no thought or do not even worry for your provisions (eat, drink, clothing). This should never enter the thought pattern of a son of God but Jesus helps us with the reason why we should not worry:  Our Heavenly Father knows.  When you live from the identity of God being your Father and Source and you being His son then you do not worry because God is the BEST Father you will ever know.  Many struggle with this Scripture and the major reason is because their perception of themselves is being members of a church and not being a son of God.  If we struggle with this as sons the Father will deplete our natural resources to a point where all you can do is trust Him to meet your need.

My sons, be totally dependent on your Heavenly Father because He is our Source.

Wisdom for the Sons - Boldness

Ephesians 6: 19-20:  And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldy, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

My beloved sons, we should never be ashamed or scared to declare the gospel with passion and love (boldness).  We know it is the gospel lived and spoken through a son that allows Christ to draw men unto Him.  As ambassadors we are representatives of the King and our Father in the earth we were given a word and ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:17-20). Because you love people, declare boldly the gospel that is shows them the door to salvation who is Jesus Christ.  Speak with the authority that your Father has given you beloved son of God!

Wisdom for the Sons: Rebuke

Proverbs 13:1 A wise son hearth his father's instruction: but a scorner hearth not rebuke.

My beloved sons, this is a unique scripture that unfortunately many fall under the latter part.  It is one thing to hear instruction, it is another to receive rebuke and correction.  Know that in the House of God the one that receives rebuke and correction, it says the Father deals with them as a son. But the one who does not they are bastards or fatherless.  In order to mature, you MUST be able to accept correction and rebuke because we are changing glory to glory and the correction is to help you differentiate between the soul and the spirit.

My son, receive correction and rebuke and know that it is our of love because you are a son.

Wisdom for the Sons: Aligning with Heaven

1 Kings 17:22:  And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived

My beloved sons, when our prayers and our words line up with the Father's heart and will, the Father's will will be done.  But look, the Lord heard the voice of Elijah.  It is the sound from the Son in the Earth to Heaven that brings Heaven to Earth.  As we mature to know the heart of the Father, our prayers should change.  The Lord does honor some of the "basic prayers" for needs but as a Son matures those prayers mature and the focus is on the Will of the Father.

My sons, this is why we "take no thought for what we will eat, drink or wear" because our Heavenly Father already knows what we need.   Let our vocabulary and heart began to align with Heaven because it is in the Body of Christ where Heaven and Earth collide.

Wisdom for the Sons - Revenge

Romans 12:17,18: Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.  If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men

My beloved sons, it is so easy to want to get revenge but the Scriptures instruct us not to do evil for evil but as much as you can live peaceably with all men.  This is hard I know but remember the Lord said “Blessed are the peacemakers for they are the sons of God”   Eye for an eye does not reconcile relationships but only drives them further away and the Scriptures say we have been given a word and ministry of reconciliation,  Yes the reconciliation is back to God but our goal is also to reconcile broken relationships within the Body.

My son, let us not seek revenge but seek peace and in many case you must forgive…..until you love again.

Wisdom for the Sons: Experience and Hope

Romans 5:3,4:  And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worth patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope:

My son, when we have an experience with our Father our soul should become more anchored as the spirit rises within us.  The Scriptures says we have a hope that is an anchor for the soul. The reason we want to anchor the soul because it can act and think independent of God and as sons of God we are totally dependent of God.  So in the midst of tribulation we have a hope, a guarantee that the Father will deliver us but we must learn patience and through that patience we gain experience in that sphere of life and our relationship with the Father and in our total dependance on the Father our hope is strengthened by the anchoring our our soul by the spirit.

Wisdom for the Sons: Patience and Experience

Romans 5:3,4:  And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worth patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope:

My son in our last message we see the necessity of tribulation and the first thing we learn is patience.  When we learn patience in any situation we develop experience in that area.  When the Father brings us through we now have a testimony, a living experience of what God can and will do in the midst of the tribulation.

My son, we must allow the Father to put us through trials and tribulations that we gain that spiritual experience when we get that experience we become stronger spiritually and more assured of the reality and guarantee of the Word of God.

Wisdom for the Sons: The Necessity of Tribulation

Romans 5:3:  And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worth patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope:

My sons, Christ made us more than conquerors and the Scriptures declare that.  However for many of us the tribulations of life seem to beat us to a point of just wanting to give up.  Let me tell you "Do Not Give Up!"  And this Scripture tells you why.  We must change our perception of tribulation knowing that we are eternal.  Though something may happen to this earthly tabernacle in "reality"  we are healthy, living and vibrant because we are born of God and in Him there is no sickness.  This requires a perception change for that to be a reality.  God uses tribulation to draw us closer and learn obedience and in tribulation the first thing we must learn is Patience.  God is not going to immediately do or deliver you from most things when He knows you struggle with patience.  You must have the confidence of the three Hebrew boys and knowing that in the midst of the fire (tribulation) YOU KNOW GOD CAN DELIVER AND EVEN IF HE DOESN'T YOU KNOW HE CAN!  That is the faith that we must have as we mature and God puts us through the fires of life to burn away our soulish nature.

My sons, the Scripture say we glory in tribulation…..stand still be patient and expect God, your Father to deliver you His Son.

Wisdom for the Sons - Discipleship

Philippians 4:9:  Those things which ye have both learned, and received, and heard and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

My sons, this is how sons mature and the House of God is built trans-generationally.  This is also how we make disciples.  This requires submission to grace and those the Father has given to watch over our souls.

Wisdom for the Sons - Caution

Proverbs 17:5: Whoseover mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker; and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished

My sons, let us be cautious that we do not mock the poor and/or the consequences or situations people find themselves in.  This can be hard, especially the situations part.  But we need to keep our vision of people the same as the Father because we are the sons.  Beware of siding with the world and how they talk about others.  Remember what we do unto the least of these we do unto Christ.

My sons, let us keep this in mind.

Wisdom for the Sons - Wisdom

Proverbs 4:7,8: Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.  Exalt her and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her.

My sons, it is not amazing that of all the things we can pray for and ask God for, in His Word He tells us what to ask for and then quantifies it.  He says get wisdom because it is the principal, it is the first thing.  In the letter of James, the Spirit says that if any man asks for wisdom, they shall receive it liberally or freely.  So it cost you nothing to ask for the wisdom of God but it is the most precious and valuable thing you should ask for.  Remember the wisdom of God is knowing the end of a matter from the beginning.  Imagine all the bad decisions we made and wonder if we had asked for the wisdom of God, how many of those situations would have turned out so much better.

My son, desire the wisdom of God and ask unwavering in your faith.  Remember it is the principal thing.

Ebola and Refuge

Psalm 91:1,2:  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.

My sons, with all the talk of Ebola many in the faith are becoming scared and fearful.  Do not get me wrong there is nothing wrong with preparation but to a point where you are fearful is where we have a problem.  Our Scripture say we are to abide under the Almighty and He is our refuge.  Our Father is BIGGER than Ebola and can wipe it out with less than a blink of an eye.  But we as sons should be confident in Him that He can protect us and even if he allows it to touch us we are secured eternally in Him knowing that our earthly tabernacle is fading anyway.  We have given Him our life, now we must trust Him knowing that everything works together for the good of them that Love the the Lord.

My son, perfect love casts out fear.  Abide in the shadow of the Almighty and be a peace.

Wisdom for the Sons: Spiritual Fitness

Hebrews 5:14:  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

My son, when the Scriptures speak of meat and milk it speaks of to the level of maturity one is at.  Of course one who is on the milk of the Word (Hebrews 6:1-3) is a babe. But here we see those who are on meat are mature but look at the last portion of that Scripture.  When one is maturing it states that their "senses" are "exercised" to discern good and evil.  As we mature and begin to shift our vision from the carnal to the spiritual our discernment shifts also from the carnal to the eternal.  This is crucial because our enemy is spiritual and you cannot see the spiritual with a carnal mind.  Let me say as we mature we will miss judge situations and many times we will get it right but do not be afraid of missing it sometimes this is why it is "exercised".  But if you are not seeking spiritual maturity as a son of God then your spirit man is not being exercised and your discernment of spiritual things is very low.  This is why many in the faith who are babes are so opinionated on spiritual things that are called out as being good or evil..

My son, continue to study, seek and obey and exercise the spirt man that you may grow from milk to meat and your senses are exercised to discern the good from the evil.

Wisdom for the Sons - Power of Resistance

James 4:7:  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

My beloved sons, who we submit ourselves to is who we allow to influence our lives.   But I would have you to notice that we are not instructed to fight the devil, just resist him.  So one of the powerful words to overcome the enemy is "NO".  Think about it!  He was defeated at the cross by Christ so all we have to do is resist him.  Jesus showed us how to resist him in Matthew 4.  Once again, the devil can NEVER make you do anything.  All he can do is set the trap (atmosphere).   This is why we must submit ourselves before God.  When we do, when a visitation comes from the enemy the light (knowledge) of Christ and our obedience to His Word gives us the ability (grace) to overcome EVERY trap of the enemy.  Search all Scriptures especially in the earthly ministry of Jesus and you do not see Jesus "fight"  satan or any demon conventionally as we know fighting but by the Word of God does Christ demonstrate to awesome power of the Kingdom over the powers of darkness.  My beloved son, submit to the rule of God, be vigilant and clear-minded so that at the appointed time you can resist the devil.

Wisdom for the Sons: Quiet Work, Open Reward

Matthew 6:2-4:  Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men.   Verily I say unto you.  They have their reward.  But when thou doest alms let not thy left hand know what the right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy FAther which seethe in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

My son, in well doing to others do not shout and and broadcast the things you do for others.  Do them in the name of the Father that He may get all the glory.  There is a fine line between sharing a testimony and boasting of what you are doing for others.  When you broadcast the things you have done for others the Scriptures say you have received your reward, the glory of men but if you do it in secret the Father will bless you openly.  My son, consider all the miracles Jesus performed, not one did He broadcast and many he told them "do not tell anyone".  He always sought to give the glory to the one who sent Him, the Father.  Let us do our work quietly and for the glory of the Father.
