Misconception of Prayer: Taking Prayer Out of Schools?

Life in the Pot

Topic: Life in the Pot

Greetings Sons of God:

So in the previous message we examine how we can tell whether we are dead by 6 methods.  Now these are not the only 6 there are others but these are prominent and should be made aware to the Body of Christ.  Let’s conclude this study!

2 Kings 4:41:  But he said, Then bring meal.  And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot.

In the previous message we saw that the man of God, Elisha who is also a picture of the sons of God tells them to put on a pot of pottage. I did not notice that Elisha told them to “go out” and get anything but simply put the pottage on.  Well of course in times of famine, people are desperate and unfortunately will eat anything.  Apparently the one who went out into the field picked a vegetable for the pottage that made the food inedible and poisonous hence  the phrase “There is death in the pot”.  We know from the previous message that the field represents the world, the gourds represent the “food” or doctrine of the world, and death is simple separation from God.   Now here we go!

Elisha admonishes the sons of the prophets to bring meal and he cast it in the pot and the meal makes the pottage edible.   Elisha representing the sons of God and the meal is the Word of God.   So it is the sons of God in the midst of the famine that are the provision for the people who are hungry because they carry the meal, the bread of heaven, the bread of life, that has victory over death and nourishes those who are a hunger.

We know in Scripture the power of the Word of God let’s examine:

1 Samuel 3:1: And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli and the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision

Proverbs 29:18: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he

Psalm 119:105: Your word is a lamp unto my feet and  light unto my path

John 6:63: It is the spirit that quickeneth (gives life); the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

The Word of God is life, it gives life and has victory over death.  When we put the Word of God in our life and activate it by our obedience death has no power.   We as the sons of God cannot just eat any doctrine.  There is a wisdom from above and a wisdom from the earth, which is devilish and carnal.  We must stay clear of the wisdom from the earth because it is carnal and devilish and produces death!

How Do You Know You Are Dead?

Topic: How Do You Know You Are Dead

Greetings Sons of God:

Now as unique of a question as this is, this is a very relevant question and when we see these things that we will bring out, a self-examination is required in order to be revived.  We are talking about the walking dead.  Those who are living on the earth but the food or knowledge they have ingested is leading them to death.  Death is simply separation from God.  So let’s examine how do you know you are dead:

1.   Demons in Your Habitation
When you have demons that an exist in your habitation comfortably darkness abides within and we know darkness is symbolic of ignorance and death.  We know this because the Scriptures say we are children of the Light.  Light is a symbol of life and knowledge.  When demons exist in your habitation, death is present.  Light drives out darkness.

2.   Egocentricity and Pride
Proverbs 16:5: Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
Proverbs 16:25: There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof  are the ways of death.
James 4:6: But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble

3.   Spiritual Narcolepsy
Ephesians 5:14-16: Wherefore he saith Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead and Christ shall give thee light.  See then that ye walk circumspectly not as fools but as wise redeeming the time,  because the days are evil.

4.   Religion
Matthew 23:27-29: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees  hypocrites!  For ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.  Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.  Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because ye build the tombs of the prophets and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous.

5.   No Anointing
Romans 8:11:  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (give life) your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

6.   Unrighteous Living
Ephesians 2:1,2:  And you hath he quickened (given life) who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

These are just 6 ways you can self examine whether you are the walking dead.  These are the ways of the world, influenced by the enemy that is here to frustrate the things of God and destroy humanity by using humanity.  This is many of us need to go to Gilgal and do a real self evaluation and be real because you do not want to be the walking dead but moreover the walking dead, thinking that they have a “real” relationship with Christ who is the Life.

In the next message we will examine the meal being placed within the pot.

Consequences of Famine

Topic: Consequences of Famine

Greetings Sons of God:

Let me give the Scripture passage and we will go back dissect and build for an understanding.

2 Kings 2:38-41:  And Elisha came again to Gilgal: And there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.   And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.  So they poured out for the men to eat.  And it came to pass as they were eating of the pottage that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot.  And they could not eat thereof.  But he said, Then bring meal, and he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat.  And there was no harm in the pot.

Seem to be a small story but there is much bread for the children to eat from these story.  Understand Hebrew is a language of pictures and know that before the reality, Christ, came God spoke in type and shadow.  Now that we are in Christ we have the honor to know the reality of what God was saying then, today.  The story sets with Elisha coming to Gilgal again.

This is not some arbitrary travel or place.  The place Gilgal is the place where Joshua circumcised the nation of Israel again.  So the word Gilgal means circumcision or to remove.  We know the circumcision is the removal of the outer flesh.  Understand we all must go through Gilgal but there are many times we need to visit it again and again.  We need to constantly self inspect ourselves and make sure that we are not walking according to the flesh. We need to make sure that we are participating in works that lead to death.  This is place where we need to “check ourselves” and make sure that we are in the right position with God and we are walking according to the voice of the Lord and not our soul and flesh.

There was currently in the land a famine and Elisha had come into the midst of some prophets that sat before him.  He asks them to set a great pot and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets. The scripture says one went out into the field to gather herbs and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full and came, shredded them into the pot of pottage.

First thing we see is one person goes out to fetch some herbs from the field.  Now at first I said what’s the big deal but in this case and for many in the Body of Christ, this is a huge issue.  First, notice that Elisha does not instruct someone to go out but simply tells them to seethe or boil some pottage to eat.  Remember this fact because in the end this will be crucial.  Someone goes out into the field and picks some gourds.  Gourds are part of the cucumber family.  The person picks the gourds and brings them back and puts it in the pottage.  Here is where I want to warn you about this action:

In a famine people will eat anything and I mean anything. If it looks like food they will eat it, even if it is poisonous and could possibly kill you.  Why?  Because the urge of hunger can drive people to eat anything to satisfy that urge and in desperate times such as a famine this urgency is heightened.  Remember, what is the picture the Lord is showing us for today with this story?

First the one that went out to gather herbs.  The word herbs in Hebrew means light.  Every man on this earth is searching for light.  We know the Light is Christ.  He is the Knowledge that man needs.

Second the field is representative of the world.  The one who went out in this story represents a man or woman that goes into the world to look for light or knowledge.

Now notice the food that the one person brings back and adds to the stew makes the stew poisonous.  How do we know? It says after they tasted they cried there is death in the pot!

Here and understand: we must be careful of the food that we eat and I am not talking about the physical but the spiritual.  The food of the world is poisonous to the spirit man and will cause death.  What is death?  Death is separation from God.  We know God is life. Hence you have people on the earth that are the “walking dead”.  Unfortunately there are some within the Body of Christ that though they have the spirit of life within them, the spiritual food they are intaking is producing death within them.   So there is a food or knowledge within the earth that separates you from God.  We as the sons of God cannot eat the stew of this world because it is poisonous to the spirit man and will produce death.

In the next message we will look at ways it produces death.

The Everlasting Kingdom

Topic: The Final Kingdom Part 2: The Everlasting Kingdom

Greetings Sons of God:

In the previous message we talked about the fourth kingdom which is the One World System setup and ruled by the seed of Satan.  Today we want to talk about the Kingdom to come afterward that will destroy the fourth kingdom.  Let’s start with this Scripture:

Daniel 2:44-45:  And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.  Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass , the clay, the silver and the gold; the Great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Let’s break it down:  The Scripture leads or better yet continues from a complete thought in verses 40-43 and says in the days of these kings!  What kings?  The rulers over the present systems which have mingled with the seed of satan to seek the power and control of people.  It says in these days shall God set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed.  So God is setting up of establishing a Kingdom, NOW, that will never be destroyed.  This is not a physical kingdom because we do not fight flesh and blood but it is an eternal Kingdom.   It is the Kingdom of God.  Now notice it says in verse 44 that the Kingdom of God will break into pieces and consume all the other kingdoms.  Every other form of government other than the Kingdom of God will fall and be consumed.  How will these nations or governments fall?

Haggai 2:6-7:  For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once it is a little while and I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land: And I will shake all nations and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.

It is by the Lord shaking the heavens and the earth that will cause everything that is not tied to the Kingdom to be consumed and destroyed.  Let me show you another passage to back this up!

Hebrews 12:26-28:  Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only but also heaven.  And this word Yet once more signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.  Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

This shaking of the heaven will bring the demonic out of the second heaven where they have rule and power and bring them to the earth.  The shaking of the earth will result in the fall of everything not established by the Word of the Lord.  This shaking is happening now as we speak.  To see it one must see it through the eyes of the Spirit.

We see also in the Scripture that the stone that was cut out of the rock (Kingdom of God) will break into pieces the iron, brass, clay, silver and gold.  All these representing the various kingdoms and governments in the earth established by man and ruled by satan that the Kingdom of God will break in pieces and consume.  The only kingdom that will be left is the Kingdom of God, the original government of the earth.  When the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord this will happen:

Romans 8:21: Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Even the creation will rejoice because it is being set free into the dominion of the sons of God which is liberty and the creation functions in its original purpose and design by Christ.  In addition the sons of God will execute the judgments written (Psalm 149).  Understand that judgment has already been measured out we are simply the executors of the Father’s will.  The veil of darkness have prevented many sons from becoming  but the judgment against the enemy will break this and His people shall see Him and shall be changed.  There is no gospel of the kingdom without the release of the authority and dominion of Christ exercised through the sons of God.
